Bike has now arrived after a delayed delivery. However when I called to ask about the delivery the first person I spoke with was very helpful, the second person was more interested in arguing with me about who I spoke with. I thought I had spoken to a lady, and was persistently told that no females work there so perhaps it wasn’t there I called. Very frustrating when you’ve ordered an expensive bit of kit from a company.

Our colleague was trying to establish which team you had previously spoken with, as there were no female colleagues working on that phone line, and asked whether the earlier call may have been made elsewhere. Very slick ordered the bike it was built the next morning and I got it next day even the delivery company were ace I would recommend highly

Not very good this time
Not very good this time, although I like Balfes. Took a long time to redeem my cycle scheme voucher, had to call to sort it out. Bike came with box very damaged (big hole) and had a puncture in the rear tyre.

I cannot fault Balfes bikes in terms of delivery as the saddle arrived really quickly in perfect condition. I just wish that there was an option to return saddles that’s don’t work after minor use (a problem with most bike retailers) as I have a feeling I’ll be selling this one on eBay a few months down the line!
