Appreciated the personal service. They emailed me to say delivery would be delayed a few days but would be sent out at the end of the week, offering me an alternative if I so chose. I was ok to wait and the product was sent out at end of week as they said.

Brilliant company to deal with I ordered the colour pedals when paying.sent an email later and next morning. Will changed pedals to right colour before dispatch. It was a present for my son.so really appreciated 👏 the extra care 👍👍👏👏

The customer service was terrible and not what I was expecting of a family owned business. I bought an ex demo bike and although there were only 4 pictures on the website I had read the spec and what comes with the bike in the description so was happy that as an ex demo it would have a few scratches but would come with all of the features I would want such as pedals, a stand, chain guard, a bell etc. However when the bike arrived these were missing. I rang Leisure Lakes the next morning to be met with a dismissive sales agent who told me it was ex demo so sold as seen. How do you demo a bike without pedals? He agreed to look into it for me and did send it some cheap pedals “to get me moving” but after spending £1800 I expected better service. The bike had had bits removed and replaced with cheap alternatives and was not as described. I was treated as second class and would not buy again or recommend them to anyone 👎

Do not buy x demo from bury. The descriptions are a lie.

I just bought a Whyte rs evo and had it transferred from bury to Leeds.

Said on listing only cosmetic marks which do not affect the ride of the bike and in very good condition and supposedly checked by one of there qualified cycle techs.

Got it home and noticed front chain ring loose, then had a bit more of a look over bike and found cover under motor is bent, front brake leaver adjuster is snapped off, back wheel is buckled, cover for motor isn’t fitted correctly and bent and can see strait into motor wiring, grips are shot and listed as 2026 bike but printed on frame it’s 2024, all that for 5k, it looks like some one has had a bad fall off it for the damage it has and it certainly dose affect the ride as you can’t adjust the brakes and the chain ring is flapping around and the PowerMore was missing (although that was put in the listing, guessing it was nicked off the bike for something else as the spec list on Whyte website shows it comes with one)

Really not very good condition is it.

I get it’s an ex demo and has marks etc but this 100% isnt as it was listed.

Massively disappointed, I bought another ex demo rsx 150 in march and it was 100% as described but that was from leyland store.

I recently bought an 2026 orbea wild m10 carbon and a load of accessories and upgrades from leisure lakes and this was my first ever experience dealing with them. I sincerely regret not using them for previous online bike purchases. It was an absolutely flawless and customer friendly purchase using deposit and finance options. Will and the staff were amazing at assisting me with correct size additions to my orbea wild ( brake rotor mounts etc) and the lady who’s name I forget assisted me with tracking numbers and updates when parcel force made a boo boo with my delivery dates and times. Not at all a fault of leisure lakes, if anything they helped more than parcel force did! Highly recommended company to deal with and I look forwards to dealing with them for future upgrades to my orbea. 5stars

Great communication in arranging delivery with me. Unfortunately the front disc rotor on the bike was buckled in transit but a new one was quickly dispatched out to me. 36 month interest free payments. Highly recommended.

Shockingly bad. Ordered a handlebar bag frame for a trip. Website indicated it was in stock with a receive-by date. When it didn't arrive, gave them a call, only to be told it wasn't in stock and they had no idea when it would be received. Likely now too late to order a replacement.
Edit - see below from L.L. - but if you were "expecting them", why were they shown as "in stock". Bought from you because lots of other suppliers were showing as out of stock. There is a recurring theme in the 1* reviews that you show items in stock which are not and which may take a long time to arrive. Buyer beware!

Ordered 3 pairs of shorts and 1 pair of gloves on Monday 4th, delivered with no issues on Friday 8th.

Bike purchased over the internet and the sale was all good. I would definitely have no issues buying from these guys again. Bike did arrive a day earlier than expected so was fortunate I was home but no fault of Leisure Lakes.
