I find Professional Scrum Master class run by John Coleman extremely valuable as it is adding a lot of answers to "why" type of questions while carefully explaining the "how" of Scrum. John has a lot of hands on experience and he is acting as a true coach for a community of agile practitioners. A five stars service!

I recently attended the Professional Scrum Master training from Scrum.org@(Online) facilitated by John Coleman.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, right from the Coaching to the insights into Scrum framework through the use of interactive scenarios and feedback sessions after. John's hands-on approach coupled with his use of appropriate coaching tools and his explanation of the various topics with practical experiences made this an insightful training. Will take away a lot of practical tips to use in my day-to-day application of Scrum.
Needless to add, it was easy to pass the exam post the training as the concepts were crystal clear.
Looking forward to our continued interactions and benefit from John's deep knowledge of the application of Scrum.
Will definitely highly recommend this training and the trainer John Coleman!

Great training and great availability from the trainer. It was not the first class with John, and as always also this time I felt very enriched at the end.

I've visited PSM II training in Baku by John, and it's been amazing three days of very personal and in-depth reviews of almost solely my personal cases. The way John teaches you is very easy-to-understand and extremely interactive, with plenty of time to reflect and disassemble your experience into a sequence of steps and kind of resolve them one by one. I've been extremely motivated after I also passed PSM II exam, which was rather easy after that training. Year and a half later, to be honest, I see my actions affected by how we worked through cases on the training in my daily work.

The course John gave was more than outstanding. To be specific his huge range of experience and knowledge of resources to point me to meant many of the challenges/issues that had been troubling me I was able to resolve. I have used some of his tips, techniques, suggestions and ways of framing things successfully within days of the course. I have left an earlier review as well, suffice it to say for the next Agile training courses I am booking I'll be looking first to see if John and Orderly Disruption offer them as they're on my personal preferred supplier list now which is an endorsement I do not give lightly.

Awesome workshop, high quality and eye-opener. John helped me grasp advanced concepts in an easy way and the interaction with the other attendees has been super stimulating. Worth every penny.

The Orderly Disruption training fit well into my schedule and was executed very well. There were a number of portions that I'm sure were optimized for an in-person class, but John executed them well electronically. My favorite part of the training is that John is in the trenches helping real teams with stuff every day, so he brings a lot of his own experiences and advice to the table. It's not just going through "the book." After the training, I took the certification exam as quickly as I could and passed with a very high score, which I attribute to the focus John brought to this training.

Very nice, professionally delivered training. Constant usage of real life examples, stories and even peek to live Kanban tools used with real teams and how they support the theory.
John delivers in adequate pace and the structure of the training forces you to leave with tangible output usable in your context. Which is very nice, in retrospect :-)

I had a one on one virtual class with John for the PSPO scrum course, and the experience has been superb! John is a great professional whose knowledge about scrum is extremely profound. I expected the course to be jammed with boring theory, however, John's method of delivering the course through interactive virtual workshops made the course a lot more engaging than i thought it would be! He kept the focus on covering the key material during the 2 day course and the results have exceeded my expectations. John is very dedicated to his profession, patient with his students, and above all, makes time to prepare the students for the assessment (outside of the 2 day course). He truly goes above and beyond for his students to ensure a proper development of their scrum knowledge!

The Professional Scrum with User Experience course provided a great mix of practical and theoretical learning, providing me with a more thorough understanding of how these two disciplines can work together effectively. John is very available for his students, more than expected by the training! He gave me lot of food for thought, specifically to my own needs. Really helpful to improve my knowledge, identify where is the next step for me. His advice were essential for the exam PALE !

Let me preface this by saying I rarely leave reviews and I rarely attend training. Both stems generally from my the amount of time I have to dedicate to such activities; I am a part-time user experience university instructor and I work as a Manager in industry full time. However, I as someone who values users, I value opinions and reviews. This is why I am taking the time, finally, to leave this review.

I took John's class in February, just before Covid struck. It was likely one of John's last few live classes. The course was one of the best training experience I have ever had, and for someone who is a lifelong learner with 5 degrees and multiple master certifications that is saying a lot.

I won't go into great detail about the course, because I am sure others have covered most of that material. But I will say this, as an instructor he is sensitive to the needs of the students. Bring your questions and he will answer them to the best of his ability and if he can’t answer them, he will get you an answer.

Instead let me spend a little more time talking about John. He is a passionate and knowledgeable trainer. He is well organized and reads the room well. During our training, he was able to bring in bits of information from other training sessions into our PSU class. Our questions ran the gamut from leadership to management to frameworks as we wanted to understand better how agile and UX fit and specifically how much information was available about our work context. So even though the PSU material didn’t cover our questions, he included additional information that helped address our questions, such as Cynefin Framework for decision making and organization maturity models. In fact, he covered so much new and valuable material that I asked that he come and deliver the PSU course for my entire department in July. Well, Covid prevented him from traveling to Huntsville, in July, but he was able to provide 2 back-to-back courses for my department virtually. To sweeten the deal, he invited Joshua Seiden –author of Lean UX - as cotrainer for both courses. Even though I took the course in February, I sat in on the course again in July alongside my co-workers.

In this course, John showed the same extensive knowledge of all things scrum and most things UX and his knowledge and passion was complemented by LeanUX guru Joshua. My 25+ coworkers reported that they enjoyed the course, if not the exams (even though they all did well—John always sees to that by holding after hours study sessions).

I want to close by saying, if you are looking for someone to come teach a Scrum/PSU/Kanban/Safe or whatever-John-is-teaching-now course to your company and want to ensure your personnel will come away with the material and more. You can’t go wrong live or online with John. He is the best choice out there.
