I would recommended 123-reg as a good internet provider for anyone who needs a reliable internet provider, unfortunately, 123-reg have become involved with GoDaddy and Titan, resulting in inability to receive all emails and the lost storage of old emails. Trying to migrate my domain to another provider is nearly impossible because GoDaddy block removal of nameservers. Consequently I can no longer recommend 123-reg .

I’ve been using 123 for more than two decades, mainly for domain hosting, and previously hosted a website with them with no issues. I recently started hosting a new site, moving it across from a Figma hosted site, and unfortunately I had changed the DNS records for Figma. What impressed me was how easy it was to get help: the bot asked a few simple questions, guided me through some checks, identified the problem and passed me to a human agent in under a minute. The wonderful human (Elena) fixed the DNS issue in less than two minutes, and everything is now working perfectly. Outstanding service. Site performance in the UK is excellent, which is exactly what I need. Genuinely pleased and great value.

My only suggestion is that, when signing up for web hosting, it would be helpful to have a clear place showing the DNS settings required to link a 123 domain to a 123 web host. Because I had changed the records and didn’t know what they should be returned to, I needed support to restore them. With help, the whole issue was resolved in under three minutes. Brilliant service. Thank you!

Always found 123 Reg so easy to use and secure website names. With the extra help of their advisors I have had some great advice on emails, options and upgrade routes that were available to me and no hardshell. Then once decision was made they (Anna) did their magic and it was great. Highly recommended.

DNS record change issue, where I couldn't text in one of the data fields. Resolved promptly via online chat.

Unfortunately I have to shut my company but 123 Reg has helped me and guide me all the way through. Has called me once every 6 months to make sure I was okay with everything, everytime I talked to an agent either on the phone or through the chat box, it was easy, simple and resolved very quickly. I highly highly recommend. It is also good quality for the price. I was able to build my website exactly the way I wanted to I was able to have everything of my company on one platform, it was perfect. 123 Reg team, I can't thank you enough! I wish I could keep my company!

Totally useless email system. Your emails will not reach their intended recipient because 123-REG doesn't have a clue how to configure their servers, so your email will just be treated as Spam and rejected. If you can get through on live chat in less than one hour, you're lucky BUT don't even start to think they know how to fix your problem. They are 100% useless. Go elsewhere or you'll regret it.

We have a business email. The recent changes makes navigation and basic use cumbersome.

Doesn't help that it's difficult to find an email address to contact them.

If you're thinking about using them, plesse don't.

We're now looking at how we can switch to another provider.

Ive not used there account email in 2-3 years and i just discovered they are still billing me for this via a PayPal account i never use

I didn't know how connect my domain with my website. They have a bot that can talk to you naturally and understand what you ask, it helped me moving forward until we hit a problem it couldn't resolve. Then it passed me a real agent that answered immediately and resolved my problem.

123Reg locked me out of my account and their support have passed me from pillar to post meaning I’ve not been able to get the help I need to regain access. Utterly useless.

Reply 123reg guarantees the reply to the customer in 48 hours? NO way, not even in 7 days!!! Absolutely unacceptable, poor.

We had a problem with our domain, e-mails stopped working as week ago, we were without e-mails for 5 days. Since then we have been trying to contact account recovery on a daily basis. The front line response has no contact with account recovery, they repeatedly send me the same e-mail requesting information I sent middle of last week and there is no way of communicating with them. In short an awful experience
