Absolute worst company I have ever done…
Absolute worst company I have ever done business with. If you have fraud on your account, there is no way to talk to an actual human. You have to send an email. This is amazing because it allows the fraud to continue for a full 48 hours until someone emails you. I currently have 30,000 owed to me and have no idea where it is. After two years of successful transactions totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, they have no explanation on where my money is. I would call, but I can't because they only communicate through email. It's a scam

I run a small contracting side business. I use the freshbooks application to keep track of expenses and to bill clients.
Recently a client wanted to issue a Visa payment and through Freshbooks I opted to use WePay as the payment processor.
Freshbooks collected all the necessary information for verification in order for my clients payment to be processed.
Once the payment was processed it was added to my WePay Balance (same day), no holds, no pending status, payment was accepted.
I have been receiving 'failed settlement' emails for three days now.
WePay has all of the information necessary to release my clients payment to my bank account, yet they refuse to release it, sending me a notification email with no information regarding why the settlement has failed.
After contacting customer support (who you can only communicate via email btw), the agent gave me a set of verification instructions that were literally impossible to complete because their User Interface has no links available to upload additional documentation.
After a frustrating string of back and forth emails where the agent repeated a set of instructions that were impossible to meet, they indicated that my account was being reviewed by their Trust & Safety Team.
The Trust & Safety Team has not reached out to me for additional documentation and why would they? They already have the information uploaded to Freshbooks during the registration process.
So now, my clients payment settlement has been declined three days in a row, without being contacted by a team that is apparently withholding the funds in an account I cannot withdraw from.
This Payment Processing Company takes 2.9% + $0.3, has a support phone line that directs users to an email support line, is terrible at responding to inquiries in a timely manner and has a limited user interface.
After this transaction is settled (who knows when that will be at this point), I am never using WePay as a payment processor for my small business ever again.

Scamming Project
I had a terrible experience with them. Understaffed, late responses, unresponsive, very inefficient support system, late money transfer, expensive fees. They have guys in support who work once in a time and all they have as the solution, they are very sorry, thats it. I cant wait if they want to stop live in sorrow and dtar doing busines, fair reliable greatful and trustful. I recommend not to open account with them.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ! RUN From this company. They have been holding my funds for 11 days now. I believed the representative who told me “it will be a seamless transaction will take about 20 minutes to open up the account“. Complete and total lie. They are holding my funds and telling me that they are taking almost 2 weeks to verify my account they actually just emailed me and asked me to send them 3 to 6 months of my bank statements in order for them to send me two transactions that total about $1500? What the hell ????? This is absolutely awful and they don’t have a phone number? There’s no one to call they only have different people email me every time it’s never the same person. It is a scam and they are hustling me and I don’t believe I will ever receive these funds.

If you want to have to beg for YOUR money then use these guys. They advertise next business day processing and that's a complete lie. The customer support is non existent ( every support ticket I have submitted was marked solved although noone ever reached out) so someone is just marking them solved without really solving them. I have no idea what is going on with a payment from a client ($5k) other than it's "pending'. These people are crooks and should be shut down.

This is absolutely the WORST service you could ever imagine for a business and it clients. If you use their service and there is an issue, there is absolutely no way possible to reach someone by phone and they don't respond to emails which leaves both you and your customer extremely unhappy and annoyed with no answers. Their service couldn't be more inconvenient and non-trustworthy. Absolutely AWFUL!!

Illegal charge to my debit card no way to dispirit it no customer support. If this company is affiliated with chase bank they are dealing in fraud. They need to be shut down now.

Absolutely dissatisfied! This company need to be shut down immediately, definitely a scam site they hold on to your funds for weeks with little to no updates! There’s no way to speak to a human you’ll have to send them a email with your issues I received my first payment with a customer on 08/06 and still have not received deposit (it’s been 2 weeks). This really sucks for small businesses who have bills to pay. On their website it states “deposits within 1-2 business days with chase accounts” however that FALSE I’m surprise this company have not been sued for false advertisement yet! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY save your time and energy go elsewhere.

Unless you want to HATE an inanimate object stay clear of this merchant service company. They NEVER deposit consistently, they settle when they feel like it snd they have no human customer service to speak to. They are unpredictable and unprofessional. Their excuse is that their Safety and Trust team is doing a routine review for your safety. Lol! More like floating money!!! They take money from the clients and don’t deposit until they feel like it. No uniform proceeding. Like I said, they will make you HATE them. They have no concerns for the business that are their clients and I totally predict them going out of business. I spoke with Chase integrated service about it snd they said although they are told to recommend and sign companies up with them they refuse to because either the companies leave because of unpredictable deposits or Wepay drops them for no reason. He told me he is sick of getting all the complaints and We Pay never takes on their own issues. The only way to reach customer service is to email and they won’t respond to even that. Horrible business!!! STAY CLEAR! If you don’t believe me just go to the BBB and look them up! It’s crazy!!
Chase's Reputation is at Risk with WePay
I chose Chase Payments because they promised same day funding. On my second transaction, it showed up as "in review" for 48 hours and then had a notice that it was being "temporarily held in reserve" for 7 more days. As a Chase customer, I'm appalled. The $18K that they are holding has a contractual obligation from my customer and cannot be charged back, yet Chase is withholding my funds for almost two weeks instead of the promised "Same Day." Chase Payments seems to be the same devious processor as its competitors, even if you are already a Chase Business customer. No notifications, no documentation in the Help Center and no responses from their portal, I had to call my banker to get the correct support email to even contact them.

After contacting Sign Up Genius who contacted We Pay it all got straightened out and I received my funds!!
Up until this month this year 2021 I had no problems getting deposits made from We Pay which Sign Up Genius uses to collect funds. They said I needed to verify my account which I was leary to do and set off red flags.
As others mention no way to talk to anyone, impossible to even verify what information they have or don't have. The amount I am owed is minimal compared to some of these reviews I had read
My event hasn't even taken place yet and I am unsure if I need to tell these two customers there may be a problem and to notify their bank.
So many scams happening now it is hard to know what to do. As WEPAY is a Chase company I called the bank which is unable to help at all. This really sucks!!
Absolutely no chance at any customer…
Absolutely no chance at any customer service talking to a real person is it possible to get back to you on their own time not yours took us hours and hours and hours to get a response most unprofessional app website or whatever you want to call it that I've ever ever seen in my life. Had bank account set up for payment they sent a payment through and my next settlement they wanted to tell me that there was something wrong with my account and canceled over $6,000 in payments.
Getting the runaround
Getting the runaround. Uploaded all required documents, but they will not disperse my payment to me. They simply replied it was denied with no clarification or feedback about the documents I uploaded. No customer service number to call, of course. No response to emails. Terrible, terrible customer service or a scam or both. They apparently are now working with Freshbooks and sadly I will have to leave Freshbooks. Bad choice on their part to go with Wepay.
WePay has not customer support line and…
WePay has no customer support line and they cannot fight a chargeback. In some cases, the customer who placed a chargeback agreed to take back the chargeback and spoke with their banks to release the funds, but WePay still could not get the money.
Complete Scam, total runaround, be warned
WePay has been giving us the runaround for over two weeks, refusing to release a payment we received for over $24K. They are concocting false reasons for this and now are saying it's going to be another 7 days before we can have our money.
Extremely poor service
They constantly hold my money for extended periods and are entirely unapologetic about it. They want us to verify our bank account repeatedly (that’s their excuse for hold my money.)
The only reason I use them is because of an integration with my crm. But that slight convenience is now being outweighed by their complete disregard for my business cash flow.

I’ve been using WePay for 2 years now. I’m writing this review solely on my experience. Holy Mother of God!! If you have any issues with WHATEVER. Forget resolving them, and if you do get anything resolved. Consider yourself lucky. I’ve been a business owner for 25 years. I’ve dealt with many business throughout the years and when there’s an issue. You call them and a resolution soon follows. Not with this so called company. I’ve never experienced such a thing. It seems like it’s a teenager in a garage working, with no phones might I add, resolving what ever he feels like.. Tremendously BAD!!
Worst Experience Ever
If I could give them negative stars I would. A total nightmare to deal with and handle. They ask questions that are not even pertinent to them and constantly delay giving out payments. They have no way to actually talk to a person on the phone.
