Give them a chance ! speak to manager
I ordered a pocket door jamb kit and a soft-close kit from this company, which were third-party products. There was a slight delay in receiving the items; however, I did receive them in the end.
I understand why people have left the reviews they have here, but after speaking directly with the company, I wanted to share my own experience because I don't think it's entirely fair to judge them based on what has happened recently.
Firstly, I spoke to the manager, Faz, after calling the company regarding the delay. I also asked him about the negative reviews.
From what he explained:
1. This company is part of a larger organisation that is owned by someone based overseas in Dubai, so they are not involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
2. The reason many customers experienced delays in receiving their orders was because the company unexpectedly had to move millions of pounds' worth of stock to a new warehouse after the lease on their previous warehouse came to an abrupt end following the sudden passing of the landlord. This forced them to relocate their entire inventory at very short notice.
3. Faz also explained that he is working to bring the company back up to its previous standards and, at the CEO's request, has recruited additional staff from overseas to help manage incoming customer calls.
4. If you have any issues, I'd recommend calling the company and asking to speak to the manager, Faz.
I'm not saying other people's experiences weren't genuine, but based on my own experience and the explanation I was given, I think the company deserves a fair chance while they work through these issues.
