Email fiasco

Along with numerous customers, had major problems, for three days, being unable to send or receive emails. This was following their, planned overnight, update to their system.
Also, just received an answerphone message from ten days ago!!
Not good enough.

Virgin mobile terrible signal.

It shouldn’t take three quarters of an hour to watch a three minute video. It took ten minutes to get this site to load. They claim to have a perfect signal in my area and yet I’ve been cut off on phone calls while trying to talk to them. I have screen capture video evidence of me trying to get a signal (turning the signal off and on, airplane mode etc) with ‘no service’ showing. And yet they still take my money every month (with very little in return)
Now that’s they’ve thrown their lot in with O2 (a company I left because of their awful coverage) I’ll be cancelling my contract.
We should be able to provide evidence here (videos and pics etc) so when virgin deny my accusations there is proof they’re not been honest. Might post them to YouTube.

I have tried all day today to sign up…

I have tried all day today to sign up online to a sim only mobile deal with Virgin Mobile, which was not honoured at the advertised price despite informing them I am a Virgin Media customer! They don’t see me as a customer so increase the price by £2-3!! I am forced to chat with an agent about this and none of them could help me, one of them made me repeat the details again after adding them to the website for the deal, I thought I was getting somewhere and then I was sent a link which I had to sign and agree to which unfortunately did not work and disconnected the chat! This forced me to start the chat again where I was asked my post code and door number to see if the previous agent added an account for me, but instead of getting this answer I was transferred to a previous agent who I refused to waste time with as they were asking me to repeat myself again! No apologies for being messed around! Another agent wasn’t able to find an account! So I tried putting the order through again and got nowhere so I called Virgin Mobile and got no apology or explanation for why I was having such a frustratingly inconvenient waste of time, all this agent was interested in doing was telling me I wasn’t letting him speak when all I was doing was explaining the difficulty I was having today in putting this order through! He had no explanation and was only interested in making a sale so I ended the call. A few hours later we received a call from Virgin Media 03454541111, the agent sounded very creepy, saying hello very very creepily like he was trying to intimidate, I cannot believe it! I may have to report him to the police! Unbelievable!! Disgraceful! Disgusting!

Horrible company

Horrible company, robs hard earned money from people and deliberately cancels your order, if you read through the reviews, there are so many the same. They let you pay for your product and then refuse to send it to you. Don't ever buy from this company!!!!

Virgin Mobile Disconnected from Reality

Sent a message through on mobile that account was transferring to 02, no need to do anything. Following month I get an email from 02 telling me my payment was overdue and that £6 would be applied if I didn't pay in four days. Virgin did not carry over the correct bank details and so the Direct Debit was not set up. Meanwhile getting through to Virgin is something I haven't yet mastered. The BOT Chat is useless and the "human" option doesnt work. Clicked on the "Complaint" button and got the stupid BOT again. Have since called 02 and set up new account. Stress I didn't need!

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service. Tried buying a new phone through them and both times the order was cancelled without any form of communication from them. Both times they admitted the issue was their end, and I gave up after the second time. Avoid at all costs.

Pure garbage! Worst ever! Stay away!

Been with virgin media for a while now, they are utter garbage! Hopefully I don’t have much longer of this to go till I can get a new broadband provider! My partner got us all new sims from virgin, I don’t know what he was thinking, can’t call, can’t text, can’t go online, and with the broadband also being virgin i can get online now and again and that’s with 2 eero boosters which the engineer said “were the best, and I should be getting some signal” I still can’t get a signal! Virgin are a joke of a company! I tried to cancel within the cool off period to be made false promises, which then took me over the cancellation period and I have now been stuck with them and their absolute crap network! I’ll be ordering a new sim today after a month of this nonsense and I can’t wait to change my broadband provider most likely back to EE. Please anyone who sees this and is thinking of going to virgin, DON’T DO IT!

Why I am leaving Virgin

I have been a virgin customer for years but they have now moved my account to O2 over which I have had no say or control. This has left my account in a mess which no-one seems to be able to sort. Neither O2 or Virgin will talk to me they each direct to the other.
Go to EE or anyone, save yourself these problems

Virgin Mobile number porting is horrific - still unable to receive calls and texts. Offshore customer service can only fob you off, with no authority or ability to fix anything. 3 times, I've been cut off when I asked to speak to a manager. Every day I am told it will be fixed within 24 hours.

This is an ongoing nightmare.

Do not ever trust them with your mobile phone number - ever!

Mind-blowing levels of incompetence

Tried to order a new sim deal, but was never given a password to sign in. I try to sign in by following "forgotten password" links ... the emails never arrive. I try to dial their helpline number... it directs me to a SMS text help service. I try to text the help service... it says they no longer support that so try the live chat on their website. I follow the link to the live-chat on their website... and link does not work or lead anywhere.

Absolutely embarrassing levels of incompetence that a company the size of virgin can not create a working website and working links.

I signed up with Virgin, not O2

I was happily with Virgin mobile for years. They've transferred me to O2 and my signal is rubbish. I couldn't get signal at times in LONDON, let alone up north! Prices have also increased.

I called today to request a new plan and they told me there is a block on my switching plan until they have sorted the switch, so I have to pay extra for a month or two whilst they sort this nonsense. I asked for my PAC and immediately left for Lyca. Not propping up their ridiculous deal!

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. I have no bars on my phone and all they are interested in is information on your account. I gave the so much information and they still wanted more. All I want is to be able to use my phone.

VIRGIN TO 02 BAD MOVE!

After 20+ happy & problem free yrs with virgin mobile, y'day I was transferred to 02. Now I can barely hear anyone who calls, sounds so distant & is the same when I call out. I can't retrieve my voice msg's either. I wasn't given an option regarding change to 02. I will now leave & subscribe to another company. I've tried calling & installed 02 app to no avail Don't need this s... why is everything such hard work? 😫 xxx

What a shambles,ported my mobile number…

What a shambles,ported my mobile number to a new account with virgin,It all went downhill from there. I could only ring & send texts out . No incoming calls or texts ,they all went back to my old voicemail supplier PlusNet. I've spent hours on the phone to Virgin and to be honest their more than useless . I've also called Plusnet and they have said there is an issue with the porting of my number in that it is a split porting issue. i.e my outgoing is via my new Virgin SIM card,and my incoming goes back to my old account PlusNet. What a mess and virgin still say all is ok
