AVOID!! Never buy from this company

Been with virgin for nearly 10 years, decided to upgrade, they messed the upgrade up and I was left without a phone for 2 weeks. Had to call up every day for the 2 weeks to chase information, not a single person bothered to get back to me. Called them trying to fix, they said they could only offer me £20 credit so decided to leave as I was just within my 14 days, now they have reported me to a fraud agency and I can’t get a new phone with any other provider!! Absolutely disgusted, please avoid every buying any service with virgin.

Poor signal, poorer customer service.

Poor signal. My contract was specifically (their words) for box sets and streaming. My signal drops out at least four times an hour, have to refresh and start a video again. Anything longer than half an hour is impossible to watch so forget about audio books or box sets. Their suggestion, watch in my garden. In December, in Yorkshire. They've blamed my phone, the weather (no signal when it rains, when it's windy, when it snows or when it's sunny) and maintainable work, for eighteen months. I've asked for a refund due to not receiving the product they take money out of my bank account for and they basically laughed. Leaving as soon as my contract is up. Possibly a corporate scam cos you won't get what you paid for.

After 4 days in I cancelled my contracts files 2 complaints, and the agent hung up on me when I questioned his behaviour and choice of words. He said this is personal. Virgin mobile has a serious customer service issue. Signal and data is extremely poor.

After 20yrs plus without an issue, you transfer me to O2 why oh why oh why ?????
They are just useless, unprofessional, inept, poorly trained, rubbish, who have no customer care!

If I could give zero I would. Virgin should be ashamed to have such a truly crappy website/app.
It is clearly not a new thing either, and I'm amazed that a company providing multimedia and tech services cannot do the basics.
Links don't work.....it repeatedly crashes....user unfriendly....utter knackers....

Run a Hard Search then Cancelled order after being sent the contract.

You got to be kidding me. I ordered a sim only £10 per month Virgin Mobile 1 month contract. I put in all my details. They approved the order, I got the contract details emailed to me. A few hours later I get a notification that my order for a sim was cancelled and someone would call me. No one called me. I thought well fine they don't want my business I'm going else where. Today I get a notification that they put through a hard search on my credit file. Wth. For a £10 sim only!! For them to accept and send me all contract details and then cancel an hour later ?? What is going on. I have a spotless excellent credit score, I've been on an £85 per month EE contract for the last 2 years, so don't tell me that they failed it on a credit review for £10 per month! Stay well clear of Virgin clearly messing peoples credit files up for no reason at all.

What a joke

What a joke, tried ordering a phone via website second one as have one for my son. They said I never passed credit checks, when asked for an explanation they couldn’t give me one. This got me very worried so done a Experian check on myself as this has never happened before and my credit history is excellent. They never asked me any questions regarding checking my credit. So not sure how they can do an affordability check on me when they don’t know my earnings.
Well they have lost a customer!!

Don't buy a Virgin Mobile

Not even worth 1 star. Don't have a Virgin Mobile. If something goes wrong you can't contact them, get no service and then, be expected to pay for it. I am contacting my lawyer, KC and taking them to task. They used to be so good. What a pity that they should turn out so bad. I cancelled my account which they claim to have no record of and now they want to reconnect me on the payment of 2 months rent. Are they just plain stupid or playing some head game to confuse and then con you. I suppose that what they are doing is not illegal but it is sharp practice. They were around during WW2. They were called Spivs then. The main difference now, and I'm not racist, is that they are no longer English speaking as their natural tongue and, quite frankly, I do not understand them. I'll see them in court.

Virgin mobile didnt honour the dat…

Virgin mobile didnt honour the dat unlimited had us on 100gb cap i went ran out if allowance and they chatged a £100 whuch is beyind unreasonable as they without nitice barred service on both contracts with no notice. Philipino cuatomer service did not get it ir understand how contract law works in the uk. Contracts are not accociate each individual contract is a seperate contract. They gave us no chance to discuss or to pay (which we wont) no online chat working the web chat doesnt work either.

Good for family deals, easy to link them all together

I needed to change The whole family to a different provider. I have two young children I went directly to the website and was able to get hopefully a good deal. I was able to set up an account and then add the sim only deals to it it’s all worked fairly well with transferring the numbers.
There is a lot of confusion when talking to the customer service. I’m on a rolling monthly contract so hopefully will not have the problem that some people have had.

Customer service is a total joke they do not have a clue what they are doing they have now moved me to 02 or I would be cancelling don’t want anything to do with virgin mobile again a big company who don’t give a dam about customers I called yesterday only to wanting a new SIM card took me an hour and a half getting passed from clown to clown ended up shouting at them and no wonder an hour and a half of my life I will never get back for a new SIM card

Would definitely avoid

Awful service, awful staff, no one has a clue what’s going on including Nick their manager who just lies to make them look better! Had my service suspended called them to ask why they said system glitch so they unblocked it next day service is blocked again called back asked why they told me I haven’t paid? But did unlock it again. A week later my service was suspended again called them to ask why and they said they have suspicion that my number is being used for fraud and will be unblocked in 24 hours but didn’t give any notice or any reason why they suspect this?? it’s now two weeks later I have spoken to multiple people and been told different things everytime today they told me that my phone number will not be able to work with them again because I have breached their fair use policy? When I asked what that is and how I have done it they could not give an answer and could have told me this two weeks ago before instead of making up a different excuse and lie everytime I have called in over the last 2 weeks?? Would not recommend these lot especially if you have a problem and want to speak to their ‘customer service team’ about it to help you’re better off speaking to a brick wall

Disgusting Customer Services

I would not even give them 1 star. Disgusting Customer Services, deliberately cut me off twice today. I tried changing my deal a few weeks ago, but was advised as l would be migrating to o2 they could not make any changes. Was told to call back once migrated, so l did. Then told as l had been migrated to o2, they could not help and l would need to call o2, said they would transfer me, they then cut me off!!! I called straight back, and explained what had happened, kept being asked same questions over and over. Once again l was told l was being transferred, only to be cut off again. Over an hour on the phone, only to have my time wasted. As she was talking to me she said so everything is resolved, NO not resolved.
Disgusting customer service, l will be looking for another company. Virgin is a joke.

If there was a zero star

If there was a zero star. What went wrong .. everything! To be fair first bit but wasn’t their fault. Ordered a phone Friday and just as clearing security the call got cut off. Very nice lady rang back and we completed the order over the phone. Was supposed to arrive Saturday ! Yodel showed incomplete. I called by pnone and What’s Appd for hours Saturday. Phone coming Monday I was assured !! Ha ha !! More hours on what’s app and passed to a superviser who also was useless and didn’t bother to check details. No phone but funnily enough they have set up a DD with my bank and sent me a bill. Avoid like the plague. Also and I do not want or intend to be rude but the call staffs English was not brilliant 🤩

Utter shambles! Don't go near Virgin!

I transferred my number from Vodafone to Virgin 3 weeks ago. It has been a shambles ever since and I really regret it. I cannot use iMessage or Facetime and it had caused me so many problems. Every time i call Virgin customer service, I speak to someone in Manila. They are always friendly and always promise me a call back to let me know what the problems is in porting my number. I never get a call back!! I've had enough. I am moving to another provider as soon as I can and will never go near Virgin again! Diabolical!!

Firstly, I can start by saying you can tell the company don’t give a s*** about it’s customers as there’s no one replying to the hordes of bad reviews.

I have been trying to get a phone from them since around Thursday 1st of June. I ordered via the website for myself to be told everything was successful and the. told it wasn’t and that I Should ring to rectify the issue. I rang and re-ordered the phone being told they were “sorry and understood my disappointment”. So I rang them to chase it up TWICE after being told I WAS GOING to be rung back and have my order confirmed, which it wasn’t. It has affected my credit score as each time they’ve reprocessed the order it’s sent it down. They haven’t explained to me in detail why me order has been cancelled (THREE TIMES) The first time it was a technical error with online (hence why I needed to ring), the second/third was card failure/rejected. What does that even mean, I’ve had a mobile contract for the last 10 years with 02 before trying to switch and never had these issues (it worries me that their both merging). It’s absolutely disgusting! Furthermore, when I’ve vented my frustration( I haven’t swore once) I’ve had the phone put down on me on several occasions.

All you heard is laughing and joking in the background like it’s some holiday camp.

DO NOT buy a phone from this company.

NO MORE VIRGIN MOBILE ON EARTH. BUNCH OF CROOKS

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Virgin Media's broadband service. I have been a customer for several years and have always been happy with the service until recently.

We upgraded our plan to "M125" (offered a 125 Mbps average broadband speed). However, I have only been getting speeds of up to 40 Mbps max. I have called customer service several times and they have been unable to resolve the issue. That is why we decided to cancel the service and prefer Giganet.

We will be charged a 30-day early termination fee of £62.50. This is despite the fact that I have been a loyal customer for several years and have never missed a payment.

I am very disappointed with Virgin Media and Virgin Mobile services. I am now switching to a brand new and fair provider named Giganet. I am confident that I will be much happier with their service... cannot been worst that Virgin.

Finally I would like to urge Ofcom to investigate Virgin Media's business practices. I believe that they are acting unfairly and that they are taking advantage of their customers. A true bunch of crooks.

NO MORE VIRGIN. I will never use Virgin Media again and I will advise my friends and family to do the same. They should concentrate only in space exploration, go to a distant planet and stay there forever. They have no reason to be on Earth anymore.

Nothing good to say. This is the age of communication and it is as bad as it's possible to be.
