Since i've been with viasat internet service been good.

I realize I live in rural Kansas, but it seems that when the wind blows, it slows everything down, if not go out for a minute or two. Then the price charged each month is so much higher than other people’s.

I have had Viasat for over 6 years and the throttling and poor/slow connections is horrible. Yes I have called, rebooted, and it's the same old story -you try and sell me more upgrades?? With the high cost I pay monthly ($130.00) and Infinity now in the neighborhood it's time to pay less!

Installation went okay. Original installation went down day after install. Took two weeks to get tech back. After that has been reliable but streaming and downloading emails is extremely slow. Will probably end up going with Starlink in the future even though not a fan of Mr. Musk.

It has worked and the only time it didn't was during a really bad storm.

I have been told that in my zip code has about 25-150 speed. It will never reach 150 speed even though I elevated to the max amount. Seems like a rip off.
I wouldn't mind the cost if my speed was efficient. Every time I watch a movie it buffers. Not happy!

I have been using VIA SAT for several years now with no regrets. I have had using satellite internet since 1989. VIA SAT is the best company I've had. If I have a problem , which I very seldom do, they are on top of it and the problem is resolved quick.

We lose our internet about once a month for several hours at a time.

My download speeds are slow compared to my son-n-laws who has star link for his internet services. There are five in his family who are regularly streaming movies and playing online games with friends and their speeds hardly ever slow down.Plus their plan gives unlimited service. They are paying the same amount I pay for limited service 60gb. I’m looking into changing my service to Starlink.

The modem stopped working 2 months ago, a trouble call was placed, no one has come to replace it, so I quit paying the bill.

Fast service with very little downtime.

I have not had internet service for several months. I called for help installing a new modem, your tech said we must use a modem provided by you. Odd, because when we initiated service with you over 8 years ago I was told that I must provide my own modem.....which I did.⁰ Now I have a new modem but no viasat service.

Very slow take at least 20 minutes are more just to open up my computer

Slow service.
Upload is often less than 1.0!
I mean like .7 .
Download varies from around 100 to 20 for no apparent reason.
And if cloudy or anytime it rains, you might as well take the day off, because your internet service did.
Customer service is very little help.
And if you need a technician, that’s at least a week away.
We actually have 2 internet providers. The second is to backup ViaSat due the sporadic service. The second one is AT&T which has only 12gb service.
Very unhappy and disappointed with ViaSat.

I got an appointment quickly. even with a few hiccups, it worked out great.

I'm limited to what service I can get out here and not real happy cuz everything I try to do buffers constantly

Installation was a nightmare originally. Guy actually drilled too far and put hole in stairwell wall. Put dish up exactly where he was asked not to There was another option).
Over a year ago upgraded from $80/ month to now $180’s with no perceivable difference. Kids say it’s pretend internet.
