I love the internet overall. Had better quality service during the promotional first six months. The moment the promotion stopped, the great quality went out. It was faster and worked better during the first six months. No changes, no extra, but higher pay for slower and less internet. It is high pay for the quality service now. Getting anyone on the phone is hard. It routes me back to my online account and has me try to handle things there instead of a person first. I'd honestly cancel if I had another option for internet service.

My experience is months and months of steady, reliable service. An outage is extremely rare and almost always of very brief duration.

I liked being able to have internet in a location that is not serviced by any ISPs. The service download speed ranged from 2 mbs to 30 mbs. Most of the time it was at the lower end of this range. And, the servide is grossly over priced. My ISP in Berkeley with speeds up to 350 mbs is $50 a month cheaper.

I had viasat for years and liked it but this last time the coverage wasn’t very good and I went with a cheaper company

I’m in remote mountain location surrounded by National Forest, my internet powered by solar. My service is dependable and enables not just use of my computer but my cell phone….calls & texts. Thank you. Lee

My experience has been good as long as the modem keeps working but it frequently goes offline. I think I need a new one.

This company costs too much. I rent the equipment, they do not respond to outages. It is off quite a bit. When it was new, it was not this way.

Inconsistent service . Have to reboot the modume all the time . Almost daily . Super slow and buffering . Customer service is nonexistent . The service has been a pain since started . Looking for another provider .

Viasat is easy to work with, the staff is friendly, and the service is also very reliable.

Upgrading me to the unlimited service came in the nick of time as I was about to switch to Starlink.

Viasat is reliable and has been even in bad weather.
They are getting expensive though so the new year is a good time to search for other providers.

I was disappointed to start with with a satellite being attached to my roof. Everytime I turn my computer on it says no internet. The amount you charge every month is way to much. I am ready to fire you and go to another company.

Provided with internet service in country area with no available cable service so satellite is all available. Believe of the few companies that service this are Viasat is the best. Only time service is lost is during bad rain or windstorms.

Dependable service unless raining or too windy. Most days are great. Prices are higher than others but maybe you get what you pay for? We are also looking into Starlink for comparison

Better than nothing, but not by much. When we're not throttled down it is great.

We have used Viasat for 5 years, living in a rural area. For relying on satellite signal, the service has been very dependable & fast enoug for streaming. Here in CO, we have crazy blizzards & electrical thrunderstorms; it only struggles occassionally during extreme events. We are very happy with their unlimited $99/month plan.
