They didn't have the urn in stock but…
They didn't have the urn in stock but the website still allowed me to buy it. I was expecting the urn to turn up the next day but with no communication or tracking number I called them up. I was met with the operational manager who told me she was 'getting to my email' ... I never sent an email. So how long would I have waited if I never called? She then rung me back later with options, either wait until the end of october/early november for the one I want, or buy the cheaper version which doesn't do my animal justice. They never once offered a discount or some money back for their mistake, the urn is still on stock on the website. I'd avoid if I was you, I ended up finding the exact same one elsewhere for almost half the price. And I know for a fact that it is a reputable company as I had another pet die and they took care of her. They're just another company hiking up prices and making a profit off of our dead pets. It's a disgusting business practice considering they don't even offer cremation as well.

We're sorry about your dear rabbit.
The urn you chose was held back because the batch it was from failed our quality check, and we would rather disappoint someone who is waiting than send out a piece that isn't right. On the phone, when emails were mentioned, our operations manager meant the emails she was sending that morning to try to get you an answer, and she intended to write to you the same day. We're sorry it sounded like anything other than someone trying to help. Your refund was made in full the day you asked for it, and the urn is not showing for sale on our website.
On price, we've since looked, and the difference wasn't what it seemed. A local crematorium offering an urn alongside a cremation it has already been paid for is in a different position to a specialist, and we'd never begrudge a family finding what they need there. We also say in many circumstances in our store that we price match, because we'd always rather help a family get the right piece than see anyone go without it. Every urn we sell is chosen, inspected and packed by people who do only this, with someone on the end of the phone seven days a week for families making a decision they've never had to make before.
We're glad you found something for her, and we're sorry we weren't the ones to get it right.

My cat of 20 years
My cat of 20 years, JacJac, passed, and I found Urns for Angels and saw that they had good reviews on Trustpilot, so I decided to order a cat pendant from their website. After ordering the pendant and considering that my cat had just passed and I wasn’t in a good headspace, I pushed the order through and then realized I didn’t order the chain I wanted with it. I sent an email asking if they could add it to the order, and I heard back immediately, and from the owner of the company no less, saying he recommends I take some more time to really consider the right piece for my cat to have as a keepsake. Since he realized I wasn’t thinking straight, he offered to cancel my order and to help me find just the right piece for me to keep around my neck with some of her ashes with me to take on my travels.
This showed me that the owner of this company and also the way his employees conduct themselves shows they care more about their customers than the companies bottom line.
I decided to have a custom order made, and I am much happier with the outcome. I can’t speak highly enough of the way the owner and his staff of the company does business and helps their customers find the right keepsake or piece, rather than just trying to sell higher-priced pieces or urns. Thanks again. I will be recommending your store to anyone who has an unfortunate or sudden tragedy befall them, knowing they will be well taken care of through the bereavement process.
