Prams that don't push. Terrible customer service.
After a huge amount of research and one of the most expensive purchases I've ever made, my Uppababy Cruz simply doesn't push half the time. Going up a step into a shop, or turning around means the wheels get stuck sideways and I cannot move. I see other mums having the same issue and we roll our eyes at each other about this clear fault with the wheel system.
After complaining to Uppababy for 18 months about this, they finally agreed to 'repair' it (it is under warrantee still). They collected the pram, promising to return it within 7 days. I then got no communication for 3 weeks. No confirmations of receiving it, nothing. My phone calls and emails went unanswered. Finally I'm told I'll get the pram back 5 weeks after it was collected.
Nightmare. Wish I'd bought from someone else.
Terrible customer service
I have recently purchased an uppa baby Cruz pram and borrowed a friends carry cot. I need to replace the mattress ASAP but it is very difficult to see online which one to buy. There is absolutely no help on their website. I have emailed them a few times- the response time takes too long it’s ridiculous. They have a phone number on their website but I’m unsure why. I have called them several times, been number 1 in the queue to speak to them, and then still been on hold for over 30 mins after which they have just hung up. So disappointed and never seen such a bad service like this. Unfortunately I am now stuck with their product. I just hope I do not have any future problems as I will never be able to contact them!!
Legendary customer service
After exhaustive research we asked my parents to purchase us an Uppababy for the birth of our first child eight years ago. My brother and sister-in-law did the same thing on our recommendation a year later. Both prams have been workhorses for us, now each serving our third children. When we have faced occasional issues (inevitable given how much we have used them) support from the UK distributor has been fantastic. Can't recommend this brand highly enough.

Better communication needed, but still a fab company and pram!
I have always been super happy with my 2015 model Uppababy Vista, I love all the features, the bright colours, the size of the shopping basket, the sturdiness and the fact that you can easily convert the pram from a single rider in to a double, with the purchase of some reasonably priced adapters. I have been using our pram since July 2016 when my first son was born, with absolutely no problems and have had so many comments on what a beautiful pram it is, to which I whole heartedly agree. I have recommended this pram to quite literally hundreds of expecting parents. In November 2018 my second son was born and we purchased the adapters to be able to fit both boys in. I love the fact there is enough space for them both and unlike some other prams, they don't feel like they are on top of each other. However, 5 months in to using the pram as a double, I was out shopping when I noticed the pram was swaying quite considerably. It was then I noticed the chassis weld which connects both sides of the pram together had completely snapped. I was so upset, but thought I'd contact the support team to see if they could fix this issue. I had a very speedy response informing me this wasn't something they could fix, but that they would in fact send me brand new chassis, free of charge! I was absolutely over the moon and couldn't believe what fantastic service this was. I was told the carbon coloured chassis was currently out of stock, but that once it was back in someone would contact me and get one sent out. A week or so passed and I'd heard nothing, so decided to follow up myself. I was told they had arrived last week and that they would send it out and be with my by Tuesday the following week. I was a bit annoyed that I'd had to chase it up myself, but still very happy with the fact they were going to be replacing it, so let it slide. I waited in all day with my 2 boys on that Tuesday, but by 5pm, with still no delivery I decided to chase it up again with a call to the DC. I was then informed something had gone wrong with the courier and they hadn't sent it out. I expressed my dissatisfaction that no one had thought to call me to let me know. I was told that the issue would be resolved by the end of the week, but that they couldn't give me a day or time... so I would have to wait in all day for the next 3 days to ensure I didn't miss the delivery... with 2 small boys, climbing the walls wanting to be out! Very frustrating, to say the least. Friday morning the delivery finally arrived, only for me to open the box and find it was completely the wrong colour. Once again, I called the DC to explain and was told they were very sorry, they would organise the correct coloured chassis to arrive and be with me Tuesday. Once again, I waited in all day Tuesday, but when it got to 2pm and still no sign of the delivery I thought I would chase it up. I called the DC and was told it wasn't out for delivery, there had been another mix up, but that it was going to be sent that day and be with me by Wednesday. Wednesday is finally here and almost a month after my chassis originally broke, I have the replacement. THANK YOU! As stated further up, I am over the moon with the fact that Uppababy have issued me with a brand new chassis, but I am very unhappy with the level of communication... or should I say non communication from the DC. Each and every step of the way I have had to chase them up. I have taken and wasted 4 days off from work, made my boys have to sit in the house waiting for deliveries which never materialised, when we could have been out and about, just as children should be. I will continue to recomended Uppababy, as I really have had such a great experience with the Vista, however it should be noted that perhaps the staff at the DC could be a little more communicative with their customers to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else in future.

Product isn't too cheap but folds down amazing, the demonstration in John Lewis really showed the quality so we went for it. Really happy we did amazing help for us and very versatile.

Poor customer service
Within four years the handle on our pushchair literally fell apart. The design is poor as the steel inside has shattered and the plastic fittings became brittle and snapped. For a £700 this is not good enough. When we contacted Uppababy, because the pushchair is no longer in warranty, they wanted to charge us for a new handle. Given the amount spent we believed a free handle would be the least they could do.

I’m sorry to leave a three star review. I don’t have a particular issue with Uppababy’s equipment... although the brakes on our pram developed a fault early on... and in hindsight I can’t believe we spent this much cash on a pram system and wish we’d bought second-hand!!
Anyway, my real issue is when you contact Uppababy UK by phone (0845 6185954) through their “support” pages. I just want to warn anyone reading this that you will be charged a premium rate for this phone call... so beware and I would suggest only contacting them by email.
I’m really not happy having a good few quid added to my bill this month and I think the least Uppababy can do is give us a freephone number to call for help/support... especially given the small fortune we spend with this company!!
