The whole process was very easy, I am happy that we could get the funds to payoff some debt and do some needed work to our new house we put in new floors and added a new woodstove insert. Now that rates have skyrocketed I a really happy we did this because a refinance wouldn't have been possible due to our current rate being 2 points lower than the average rate.

Unison was great to work with. The account manager was very helpful and answered all my questions along the way. This is a unique program and should be investigated but it has worked out great for us.

I am extremely grateful for the ease and speed of the process compared to several other options I was pursuing to cash out my home equity. I worked directly with a dedicated agent, Cameron Hayes, from start to finish who was sincerely amazing in delivering a quality experience. I felt well informed and actions were completed quickly to bring the process to a close. I highly recommend giving serious consideration to Unison as the best value option to get it done.

The person who assisted me was good and helpful however the appraisal was inaccurate to me and I really didn’t get to do what I wanted as I didn’t get enough funds because of appraisal. The house was appraised at 257K while my neighbor who has the same size house as me sold his house two weeks later at 379K. I just needed an extra 10,000 to do a fence but I think the appraisal could have been better. However I do appreciate the help I got but it could have been better.

I have to say this was about the easiest way to get equity out of the house to help cover the cost of a new roof . This process was easy to navigate and understand the ins and outs of how to go forward getting monies from the equity in our home. Unison was always in touch with updates which helped us see where we were in the process . All in all we are quite pleased and would highly recommend Unison to others looking to pull equity from your home as opposed to an Equity Bank Loan.

Stop And Understand this: YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY OPTIONS TO CHANGE YOUR LOAN AFTER U SIGN WITH UNISON- ZERO OPTIONS THE ONLY WAY OUT IS TO SELL. I have been trying to change my term and no lenders on earth will touch unison lien on your home- Just get a equity line or heloc I will save your grief

Make sure the person ready Appraisel knows what they are doing, mine was miss read- saying i only had 1250 square feet living space. The Person reading the apprasial Missed the 1250 square feet of the lower floors. Our house is 5 bed rooms with 3 full baths- kitchen -living room- family room -large laundry room and finished storage room. So 13 different rooms that first person reading the apprasial said was only 1250 Foot -that would be average of about 96 square feet per room. Or rather about 8 feet by 8 feet each room. Had to get own apprasial done- send that in adn then suddenly yes house had double ther living space, yet apprasils were written basically the same- aside from that reast of process went smothly!

The process was fairly unobtrusive and fairly efficient. We had a representative who explained our options carefully and made we were comfortable that we were making the right decisions. We clearly understand the terms of the equity co-investment in our home. If you want to avoid the payments required in a home equity loan or HELOC, this might be for you.

Very professional in every aspect. The process was completely transparent and completed in a very short time. The money was used to fund expansion at a family business. So all in all, it was a very successful transaction that is already paying huge dividends.

I wasn't sure if this was a scam or not but I tried it and let me assure you that they are legit company there was no surprises it only took about 3 month's from start to finish they explained everything up front and kept me up to date on the progress ive never heard about this type of loan before
