The co-equity loan experience with Unison and their representative was excellent. I visited their web site and learned about the process prior to initiation of the application. I was advised and able to ask questions during the application application process and through closing. My loan representative was very personable and helpful throughout the application and closing.

Best alternative to a traditional loan out there. The co-investment fit my needs perfectly and Unison made it an easy process. I was presented with several options to choose from. All the team members were very professional throughout and always ready to answer questions. There were no additional or surprise costs and the whole process was painless and quick.

Unison was wonderful to work with. We were a bit nervous about the co-investor concept, but out point of contact very patiently walked through all of the details, the important things to be aware of, and the necessary info and timelines involved. I would highly recommend speaking with the team at Unison before looking at HELOCs, simply to get all of your options. We're glad we did.

Congratulations; you have a unique product that was very easy to get into, (kudos to Brandan - great job!), and so far it seems to be doing exactly what I wanted. For your company, there are just two big issues that kept me from moving more quickly.

First was the question of where the program lies in the legal landscape, particularly regarding tax consequences. This is such a novel financial instrument that nobody other than the seller will, (probably ever), be in a position to know or care what the legal precedents turn out to be, so it would have helped me to see you presenting some kind of summary or analysis of how the taxability was shaping up, (whatever was known), especially in my state.

Second, the long-term, (meaning end-of-contract), real-life outcomes can't possibly be anticipated yet, but every careful consumer is going to wonder about that. Don't know what you can do about it at this point, but it's clear that any seller of a shady product would not necessarily WANT to highlight that, so some kind of effort on your part to reveal the final satisfaction level your customers feel would be a big plus - assuming there's nothing shady that I haven't seen yet. But so far...so good.

The help and individual attention I received from Unison was truly terrific! Can’t say enough good things about how responsive, kind and patient my rep, Eugene K, was throughout the process. I highly recommend him.

Everything surpassed my expectations! I’ve been through many refi, 2nd mortgage processes. This process took about three weeks from start to finish. The appraisal process was also fair and accurate. When all the data and paperwork was verified and approved, funding options were presented and quickly processed. I researched Unision before I contacted them and found good ratings and reviews. Co-investing with Unision has allowed us to access our home equity and continue our home improvements and payoff our debts without incurring a high interest payment or signing another 30 year mortgage obligation.

I had a great experience with Unison and would recommend anyone to give them an opportunity to show you if the program works for you. All I can tell you is everything Unison promised, they delivered. Everything was in writing and they made sure I understood every part of the contract. My advise, check the program out. You’ll be happy you did.

We are pretty financially savvy people we looked into this because it was an easier way of pulling money out of our existing home for investing in another property. After going through all the regular paperwork when it came down to the appraisal The company rejected it saying it was inflated. Mind you they pick the appraiser so we paid $500 for another appraiser that we will not recoup and they rejected that also their underwriter thinks they are an appraiser by using Zillow. Said our houses was overvalued by $60,000. Mind you both appraisers came in roughly at the same price for our home. So basically they’re screwing you on the front end of the appraisal so they can make money on the back end when your house sells and take 40% of your equity on top of paying your original loan back. So my personal opinion is stay away from this company it is not worth you giving that chunk of money at the end of your deal when you sell your house. So we did the math and just stuck to a traditional HELOC. Go through traditional refi cash out with a bank or your own mortgage company. I thought there were laws for predatory lending.

Our experience with Unison was great! Whenever my wife and I had any questions or concerns they were immediately addressed with kindness and consideration. We didn't feel like any question was to simple or stupid to ask.

I am checking rates and came to bestmoney.com, they listed this company as one of the "Best Home Equity Lines of Credit 2022", and went to their website for testing. Their online estimate based on the address is a joke, way below the market value. C'mon, don't rip off people like that.

Everything went as advertised! The application process was very simple and whenever I had questions my account executive responded promptly. I've been in and around the real estate and real estate finance industry for decades and found the experience to be beyond my expectations.

I've been totally unable to refinance my mtg. because of my deal with Unison. Couldn't get one from the time I entered into my contract. With much higher interest rates (at least double what it was, and going higher), I'll be forced to sell my home.
