Great service.

Have been using TEG for more than a 15 years as they have consistently had the best rates.
I like the fact that there are several branches so I can order and collect money close to home or work without any inconvenience.
The process is simple and the rates are clear.

I contacted the Thomas Exchange Global team, needing urgent funds conversion. I was contacted on the same day where the initial agreement, including the exchange rate, was put in place and the pick up location agreed. I enquired about delivery timescales to cover off any additional actions I may have needed to carryout. However we were good to go, I received daily updates on the progression of my request which arrived on time. I was able to pick up my items without any delays.
This was the first time I had utilised the online service, which was seamless and clear for my requirements. Recommended.

I have been using this branch for many years and always received good straightforward service from the guys there. I recently did an exchange for some Euros and I was in a hurry, so much so that I walked away leaving my debit card! I visited a few shops and realised I didn't have my card as I went to pay, thankfully I had some cash. I thought I had lost my card and was about to ring my bank when I realised I had a missed call from The Exchange. I called them and was told I had left my card there. I went back and the very helpful Manajit (I'm sorry if I've spelled his name incorrectly) who had served me before, had kept my card safe and handed it to me. Thanks again M! I highly recommend using this branch for good service and great exchange rates.

Good fx rates as usual and if you use something like dollars or euros you can get a company discount as well.

Not so great is the brusque\crappy service where I'm made to feel like I'm being a nuisance.

The process to order was simple and straightforward, the exchange rate was good, the collection location was convenient and I didn't have to wait, with good customer service. Overall I happy with the service I received.

The only thing that could be better is notification when orders are ready for collection. I was told that my mobile number was required to notify me with a text when my order was ready, but I didn't receive a text. I was only informed by email, which I don't check regularly.

As I didn't get a notification text, the requirement for my mobile number comes across as data mining, which I don't like. Please ensure if you request mobile numbers to use them for the intended request.

Went to Richmond Branch to buy US Dollars - with all necessary ID. Was asked all sorts of questions re where I was going, how long for, the date I was leaving - none of which is any of anybody else’s business.

Go next door to the Post Office - no questions asked.
