Just had my Cocoon delivered and assembled by two great guys.
I was worried that I would have to assemble it myself. What a gift when they did it.

So glad to have the items unpacked and assembled, done in no time, friendly and efficient.

I purchased a €5,000 garden furniture set from this store, and while their communication around delivery was initially very good, that’s unfortunately where the positives ended.

The delivery team arrived with the furniture already preassembled and began attaching the final pieces to form the U-shaped couch. However, they did a very poor job. The sections were loosely connected, screws were not properly tightened, and no effort was made to align the pieces correctly. When my wife raised these concerns, one delivery person seemed irritated and told us to contact the shop, while the other tried to force the pieces into place.

Worse still was the quality of the assembly that had been done at the warehouse. There were only about eight connections needed, yet none were properly secured or aligned — all pieces were loosely screwed and noticeably off-center.

On top of the poor assembly, several items arrived damaged:

The coffee table had multiple large scratches.

The single chair had one armrest scratched and the other chipped.

The U-shaped couch had several deep scratches across the metal frame, exposing bare metal where the paint had been scraped off.

Of the ten cushions, two vacuum storage bags were torn apart.

When I pointed all this out to the delivery team, they were indifferent. They simply took photos of what I highlighted and again told us to contact the shop.

I called the shop two hours later and was told they had already been informed — though no one had bothered to contact me. I was assured they’d follow up by the end of the day after speaking with the buyer. That evening, someone else called to say the person handling my case couldn’t speak and would follow up first thing in the morning.

Instead, I received a call later that day — again not from the original contact — simply to repeat that they were still waiting on the buyer and would get back to me the following morning. Eventually, I did get a call the next morning, and was told I could inspect the showroom model (which had been sitting there for a year) as a possible replacement. For my trouble, they offered €300 off.

I declined, stating that wasn't acceptable. I suggested the buyer call me directly instead of using a go-between. A few hours later, I received that call. The buyer apologized and blamed the issues on manufacturing faults — which was clearly not true given the poor workmanship and damage. She claimed there were quality control processes in place, though the state of the product and delivery clearly said otherwise.

She then offered to return the furniture to the supplier for repairs — without a timeline — which was not practical given this is summer furniture and I had ordered it six weeks prior. She followed up with an offer of €500 off, replacement of the torn cushion bags, and a tin of paint to cover the scratches.

I rejected this. I had paid a premium price expecting a premium product and service — and got neither. From the condition of the furniture, to the assembly, to the delivery experience, everything fell short.

After speaking to several neighbors, I discovered similar negative experiences with this store. Ultimately, I asked them to take the furniture back, which they did. I also cancelled a BBQ I had planned to buy from them.

It’s deeply disappointing. I’ve now had to start over in finding new garden furniture. I will not be returning to this store. They charge premium prices but deliver substandard quality and service.

Our bench was delivered very quickly. The guys who delivered it were friendly and got the assembly done very quickly. All the staff we have dealt with in the orchard have been very pleasant to deal with, wouldn’t hesitate to buy there again.

Just had Sean and team deliver and assemble our garden table and chairs, so lovely to deal with and nothing was a problem.
