this company is a rip off my ppi tax refund was sent to them as confirmed by hmrc in February i have sent numerous emails chasing what's owed to me and still nothing! no contact number used to be allay claims again no numbers available to call

I obviously knew I’d be charged a fee but nearly half the tax back I was owed is extortionate. They not surprisingly do not mention the hefty fee they are going to charge. Save yourself some money and submit a R40 form yourself.

I have asked this company many times to send a cheque with my refund as I am not comfortable sending bank details. They have not done so.

As MC says below.. avoid, in my case they claimed my income tax refund was PPI.. honestly, this company just tell you a load of "tosh" you and I would be prosecuted for fraud if we worked in this way

They imply that you can claim tax back from a PPI claim due to how the taxation was initially done on it.
All they do is submit an R40 form. If it turns out you actually owe tax because of their probing they just shut the case, don't respond to queries, and do a runner. Absolute sham.

Company submitted a claim on behalf of a client of mine, using a forged signature, and with no authority or accurate information to do so.
Fortunately, it was picked up and rejected by HMRC. I have subsequently discovered they file claims without collecting the correct information, HMRC pay some of them in the first instance, but then check them out and in many cases ask for their money back from the taxpayer in full. This company have never filed any accounts, in all likelihood, they will be gone (with all the 50%'s they have kept) fairly soon. If you believe you are due a tax refund, a qualified would never charge 50%, and if your tax affairs are straightforward (and you don't have to file under self-assessment normally), you can complete a repayment claim (form R40) online in minutes yourself.

Very efficient and trust worthy company.
Fair enough they take nearly 50% but they got me money I didn't even know I was owed.
I would definitely use again and recommend this company

Don't keep you update on your refund and then make excuses on not paying out due to incorrect bank details which isn't true. Still waiting for my payment. I would avoid at all costs!
