Like an earlier reviewer I was somewhat disappointed with the flavour of some of the marshmallows. The only ones in the Inside The Factory treat box that I really enjoyed were the Coconut and the Raspberry and Champagne. The one that I had been really looking forward to, Cherry and Rose was too tart for my taste even though I don’t like sweets etc to be too sweet. Once the box had been opened a few hours there was a very strange smell coming from it every time I opened it. Couldn’t tell if it was the plastic but as there were no instructions to do otherwise I had left the product in the packaging to keep it from spoiling. The Chocolate mallow seemed to smell the most odd and it didn’t taste good to me, who I normally regard as a real chocolate lover. I emailed The Marshmallowist to ask about the odd smell but received no reply. Shame.

I love marshmallows so I got very excited at the sight of the beautiful pink box tied with ribbon and full of lovely looking marshmallows that I had for a Christmas gift, but sadly the taste did not match the looks. They tasted of a mix of spices and chemicals, you couldn’t distinguish between chocolate or raspberry, they all tasted pretty much the same and had a strange aftertaste. Sadly most of the box went to waste.

Small independent business with a delicious and excellent product. Their efficiency continues right through to delivery! The marshmallows almost look too good to eat. The Christmas baubles are genius.

Really pleased and would definitely buy again. They looked amazing but the taste of them even surpassed that. All the family raved (even the ones that don't like marshmallows!!) The service was super and carefully packaged so that everything arrived safely. Great presentation that made you also know that it was something special.

I can’t praise the whole Marshmallowist experience highly enough. Their website is beautifully designed, easy to navigate, and ordering was an absolute doddle. The regular updates were greatly appreciated and made me feel genuinely looked after throughout.
The marshmallows arrived exquisitely packaged, complete with elegant satin ribbons and a thoughtful handwritten note. I ordered the Christmas treat box and festive baubles as a gift, and my son was absolutely thrilled (he savoured every marshmallowy bite).
Overall, these marshmallows truly have the wow factor. From the flavours and textures to the stunning presentation, quality ingredients, and impeccable packaging, The Marshmallowist has become a firm favourite.

I would give this less than one star if possible. I placed an order for Festive Teacakes on 20 December 2025 with promised next day delivery and the order was acknowledged the same day. I have heard nothing since and had no delivery. I have chased this every way possible - 2 emails (30 December and 7 January), FB Messenger 8 Jan, message on official mobile 9 Jan and instagram message. No response at all! I don’t know whether I like the product as I haven’t received it but their customer services is absolutely appalling. Sort this out!

Absolutely delicious marshmallows and such a treat. We have ordered from this company multiple times for special occasions (Eid, Christmas etc) and each time they did not disappoint. We will definitely be ordering again x

I ordered 3 boxes of teacakes and one box of champagne and raspberry marshmallows. They arrived on the requested date, really well packed. Unfortunately one of the teacakes had been damaged, I contacted them and a replacement was sent out immediately. If they taste as fabulous as they look. WOW. They are amazing and great value.

The marshmallows are delicious and quite different to anything else you can buy. It’s always great to stock up and have wee gifts at hand when needed. I always feel that they are parcelled and sent with love and care. A real personal service.

Lovely product, innovative. Beautifully packaged and came in good time.

Unfortunately the mixed box when opened all the marshmallows smelt of cardboard and tasted similar. So disappointing If they were wrapped in clear plastic like the tea cakes it would be better. The flavours all merged and absorbed the packaging smell. They tasted awful it was an embarrassing gift. Deciding what to do with them as only ate 4 with guests. Too horrid to finish. Maybe melt them down. Are they supposed to be cooked first? on their own really not good. Also size too large for a mouthful

Lovely mallows and excellent customer service. I bought a few of these as 'thank you' and also 'christmas gifts' and have no doubt they will be enjoyed by all.

I have already had excellent feedback from someone who briefly heated a mallow on a gas stove using a metal skewer and then wedged it between a couple of NICE biscuits!

As always the marshmallows are delicious, but I asked for a delivery date 15th December but arrived 2days after my order, luckily a long expiry date ! 😀
