Daniele was excellent. He saw me and fixed my van within the hour. He’s now repaired my van 3 times and cut me two new keys. Excellent service and value for money

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can’t recommend this mechanic highly enough. I’ve known and used his services for around two years now, and on every occasion I’ve found him to be extremely helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

He seems to be one of, if not the only, person in the Basingstoke area specialising in things such as car key programming and automatic vehicles. He helped me with my 2013 Audi Q3 around two years ago and, more recently, with my mum’s 2014 Ford Focus this year. On both occasions, he was incredibly helpful and knew exactly what he was doing.

One thing that really stood out to me when visiting the premises is how clean, modern and new-looking everything is. You can also see various certificates and qualifications displayed around the room, which immediately gives you confidence that you’re dealing with someone who is properly qualified and takes real pride in his work and business.

Most recently, I also had the pleasure of meeting Elainia at the front desk, who was absolutely lovely — very bubbly, enthusiastic and welcoming. She added such a warm and friendly touch to the experience.

You can genuinely see the hard work, pride and enthusiasm that goes into the business. It’s refreshing to find someone who is not only knowledgeable at what they do, but also takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

I personally wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, professional, qualified and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need his help again.

Thank you for all your help over the years — it’s very much appreciated!Save the number- you may need him one day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Job well done and on time. Correct market price too.

Recut a spare coded key - perfect job. Checked stock when I called, quick appointment and done promptly for a fair price. Definitely using for more electrical work.

The Automotive Expert Ltd provided an outstanding service from start to finish. From the moment I got in touch, they were professional, honest, and genuinely committed to finding the right solution rather than just offering a quick fix.

They quickly diagnosed the problem with my car, clearly explained what needed to be done, and carried out the repair to an exceptionally high standard. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and my car is now running perfectly again. It's such a relief to have the issue properly fixed by people who clearly know their trade.

What really stood out was their excellent customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right. It's rare to find a garage that combines technical expertise with such honesty and professionalism.

A huge thank you to everyone at The Automotive Expert Ltd for the outstanding work and for getting my car back on the road. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy automotive specialists. Five stars all the way!

Daniele was absolutely amazing. We had lost the keys to our lorry and were starting to lose hope after calling multiple people who couldn’t help. Then I spoke to Iveco Ford in Basingstoke, and they recommended Daniele.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly fast. He quickly picked the code for my ignition and got us back on track when we thought we were out of options.

I will be forever grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and skilled locksmith service. Thank you, Daniele

Daniele was great - quick response to enquiry, friendly service, took time to explain things, on time, fair price. I'll definitely go back.

Helpful, professional and good value for money. Many thanks

Daniele is very good indeed. My BMW had elusive key locking faults after a new car battery had been fitted elsewhere. A systematic diagnosis and replacement of a difficult-to-source module rectified the problems. The car was returned in a clean, tidy state and the charges were very reasonable for the extent of work involved. If you have a car key problem, contact The Automotive Expert. Another of his customers recommended this business and I am very glad that they did.

A lovely guy- super efficient service performed by the very knowledgeable Daniele. This is the second time I’ve had to call upon Daniele to cut new electronic keys and I have no doubt I’ll be back again!

Having locked my keys in the car (don't ask!) I was referred to Daniele by Basingstoke Mercedes garage. He turned an hour later and not only solved the problem but provided a spare key, all at a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend him more highly.

First time using The Automotive Expert following a recommendation; very impressed with professional, knowledgeable & friendly team. I was informed of the (rather head scratching electrical issue, T7 Transit) fault identification, parts required & costs. Work was completed on time & with care. Highly recommend.

Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable servic. Sorted an airbag warning light out for me within agreed timescales and price. Would definitely use again many thanks

Great service, diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. Kept me in the loop with the process. Professional, personable and reliable. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Great service and support, kept informed at all times. Was able to resolve an issue that others had not been able to help with. Quick response, with full explanation of what was being done and when. Highly recommend!

Extremely knowledgable and efficient. Found and fixed my daughters issues and got her back on the road without delay

Outstanding service and professional handling of a tricky situation with my Jag XF today. Dani confronted an unexpected challenge with a belligerent immobiliser which went into shutdown mode. He drove me to my daughters home rather than have me wait and then worked outside of normal hours to rectify the issue. Fantastic service....main dealers could learn volumes from this company

I lost the second key for my imported car. Dan had to put a lot of effort into researching a solution but succeeded in the end, thankfully avoiding the (very expensive) main dealer. Absolutely top bloke. Grazie mille!
