Well it was quite possibly the best time of my life.
Life changing !!
The people where amazing ,food hospitality, lodging accommodations where beyond expectations!! each one of our hotels where luxurious beyond belief !!
And the animals !!
Our guide Alex ,was the sweetest human being and we felt so safe with him , he was so knowledgeable about the terrain animals , I now realize a guide is one the most important parts of a safari !!
We love him ,we literally cried and hugged before we left him!
We talk of him everyday and how magical he made the experience, with his knowledge humour and amazing driving skills !!!
And the animals .
We saw the big 5!!
We know going into a safari it is nature . You’re on her schedule not yours .
We practiced patience and lots of Pole pole and the animals came .
We saw animals non stop .
It was unreal !
They would come out and walk right in front of us !
We did Arusha /Tarangire/Serengeti/Ngorogoro crater! Each park was magical and different !!

Práctica muy poco ética - decepción con todo, Tanzania Specialist
Lo más importante a tener en cuenta: Tras ver la reseña negativa en Google (que dejo aquí abajo a continuación), intentaron presionarnos para que la quitáramos. Nos escribieron por email, ofreciéndonos una compensación (ridícula, de 200€) y a cambio teníamos que firmar un documento con el que nos comprometíamos a quitar cualquier reseña actual o futura. Nos negamos, y después nos contactaron por Whatsapp para preguntarnos qué cantidad queríamos. Esto es una práctica claramente manipuladora y poco ética. Coacción directa. ¿Cuántas reseñas negativas no habremos visto de viajeros anteriores por este motivo? Qué vergüenza, nunca más Tanzania Specialist.
Además, edito tras vuestra respuesta aquí: No es cierto, ya no nos sorprende que incluso mintáis sobre esto. La compensación que nos ofrecisteis sí estaba condicionada a eliminar las reseñas. Nos enviasteis un documento formal (Settlement Agreement) para firmar donde se incluía expresamente la cláusula "No negative statements and/or reviews on online channels. Parties have agreed that the traveler and/or other participants of the travel group will not make any negative comments about Tanzania Specialist on the internet and/or any other public media (such as Trip Advisor, Google reviews, Facebook, Trustpilot etc.) for now and in the future", además de una cláusula de confidencialidad para no hablar del acuerdo con terceros: "Parties refrain from statements to third parties regarding the content of this agreement, except if and insofar as they are legally obliged to do so. Dutch law applies to this agreement".

Acabamos de volver de nuestra luna de miel con Tanzania Specialist y queríamos contar nuestra experiencia (safari en español). Tuvimos un problema con nuestro primer guía, que solo actuaba como conductor, no nos comunicaba ni explicaba nada, estuvo todo el primer día hablando por teléfono incluso estando con animales al lado de la ventana en Tarangire, no nos ofreció los snacks que habíamos pagado como extra... no lo esperábamos.
Ese mismo día lo comunicamos a Mery y Joel y rápidamente pusieron solución, nos informaron que para el segundo día ya cambiábamos de guía. Por la noche nos confirmaron que íbamos a salir con el mismo pero en un punto del camino cambiaríamos de coche, no pusimos problema, incluso les propusimos salir más tarde esa segunda mañana sin ningún problema para esperar ya directamente al nuevo guía. Lo peor fue lo que vino ahí. Estábamos ya llegando a la entrada sur de Manyara con el primer guía, y le llamaron para comunicarle el cambio, diciéndole que nos habíamos quejado, generando una situación muy muy incómoda para ambas partes y un trayecto terrible (pensábamos que ya se lo habían comunicado la noche anterior, que hubiera sido lo más normal, puesto que ya conocían los hechos, o incluso a primera hora de la mañana antes de salir). Además de volver atrás en el camino, tuvimos que perder otras dos horas de trayecto, porque el nuevo guía nos esperaba en la puerta norte del parque. Nunca nos debieron poner como clientes clientes en esta situación, y nos hemos sorprendido mucho que en ningún momento nos han contactado después para preguntar qué tal.
El nuevo guía mucho mejor, personalmente genial y un muy buen conductor, nos encontramos con situaciones complicadas en carretera y en Serengeti, llovió bastante, y lo resolvió todo sin problema. Sí tenemos que decir que su español era muy muy limitado, por lo que tampoco hemos tenido gran conversación ni ha sido la experiencia en general que esperábamos, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el precio que pagamos y que lo ofertan como safari top con guía de habla hispana. Sí que nos ha explicado cosas cuando nos encontrábamos con animales, incluso llevaba algún libro y los revisábamos, cosa que agradecimos mucho, pero esperábamos aprender más sobre cultura y todo en general, también durante los largos trayectos, sin conversación, puesto que el idioma ha sido una barrera. Lo que esperas y ofertan no es lo que finalmente obtienes.
Por otro lado, comentar que la experiencia previa al viaje muy bien y la comida y los hoteles maravillosos, incluso las lunch box.
Con todo esto, no repetiríamos experiencia con esta agencia, y si pudiéramos volver atrás incluso preferiríamos haberlo hecho con guía en inglés (podríamos haber tenido mejor experiencia), ya que el servicio en español no ha cumplido para nada con lo prometido.

Excellent Safari
We’re on our way home from two weeks in Tanzania. Ten days safari and four in Zanzibar we’ve had the most incredible time.
Tanzania Specialists satisfied from A to Z, from our first enquiry to every other detail from arrival to departure.
Our driver Spear amongst all the other staff was absolutely exceptional as a guide, historian and driver. His knowledge of the wildlife was outstanding with many funny stories.
This trip of a lifetime has delivered on that promise, with not only the big five but a vast array of animals and birds.
The hotel selection was excellent the Serengeti Sounds of Silence and the Park Hyatt Zanzibar were standouts in a five star list. Awesome views, private pools and excellent all round service was constant at all the accommodation.
I would recommend Tanzania Specialists to anyone interested in an African trip.

Great People
Even though I felt Tanzania Specialist where very inflexible regarding the situation in the Middle East (check T and C’s), once we finally got there I could not fault the people or the accommodation. Our guide Dotto was awesome and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing experience. We did 2 nights in Dodoma to visit where my wife was born and he went above and beyond to make sure all our expectations were met. The game drives on Tarangerie, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater were all special in their own way and we will never forget this experience. Even though we went at the end of the wet season (April) we still saw all of the animals and because of the lack of visitors it was not crowded at all. Highly recommended going at this time.

Amazing safari experience for my bday
Veronica did a great job planning my trip. She answered my many questions and eased my stress about flying solo across the world. Every hotel experience was wonderful and thoughtfully curated.
Hashim was the best! He made my first safari experience unforgettable - I felt safe the entire time as a solo female traveler, he was kind and knowledgeable on the country and animals, drove to the best spots for some amazing closeups with so many animals and I even got to see the big 5!!

Safari with heart
We have booked a 9 day safari with Tanzania Specialist. The communication with our agent Olosotu went very smoothly, he was very helpful and gave us many useful tips how to put the route and the safari together, so we have the best experience in the end. From day one all worked perfect, from the pick-up at the airport, first transfer to our hotel, meeting with our guide and driver Remi and of course the safari itself.
Our guide Remi is an extraordinary person. Excellent driver and the best animal spotter ever. And the best is, he can do it simultaneously - drive the car safely through the shaky routs in the parks (Africa massage ;-)), spot animals (even if they are far or hidden in the gras) communicate with the other guides, explain. He is a very nice person, funny but also very responsible, always having the wishes and the wellbeing of the guests on his mind. Thanks to his experience Remi knows what is the best and the safest distance to the animals, so they do not feel menaced and stressed. If you let him to use his experience and knowledge Remi will literally guide you to the best places and adventure. If you wish to deepen your knowledge, Remi is ready to explain or to give you his birds and animals book.
We also had the "pleasure" to experience of a flat tire in the middle of Serengeti, only a few meters away from a cheetah couple. But all went well and thanks to the help of another Tanzania specialist driver and a team work of all of us we managed also this situation. Our impression is that the company is highly professional, the guides are in close contact to each other and also to the company base, we met technical rescue teams in the parks, ready to help in difficult situation.
We highly recommend Tanzania Specialist and thank again Olosotu and Remi for the unforgettable experience.

Our best family adventure
From start to finish our dream Safari came to life! Our advisor George listened to our wants and needs and tailored our trip perfectly. Readily available for questions, phone calls, and advice. The online team was also very helpful with any concerns. Our bush camps and hotels were all lovely and each played a unique role in our adventure also! From rest and refresh to in the park authentic bush camps to enjoy the full sounds of nature. Upon arrival to Kilimanjaro airport our Safari tour guide Abdul took over and made the trip unforgettable. Full of knowledge, from animals to Tanzanian culture and everything in between. He knew exactly what we wanted from our adventure and was willing to make it happen. By offering early game drives, choosing wonderful lunch stops, and driving us around hours on end and keeping our 9 year old in mind when she was clearly tired for the day. We appreciate all your care and company very much and will be holding these memories forever!

A safari full of adventures far and wide
I was so impressed by by my 2 drivers Alex and Bildat - their knowledge of your country while also being wonderful company for me - a 78 yrs seasoned traveller. Both with also great senses of humour and passionate about their work.
The staff in all accommodation I also applaud. The guides on my special excursions I would say the same about.

What an amazing trip
Alex, our tour guide did an amazing job from the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Arusha. His knowledge and expertise was what made the trip so great. And of course the amazing beauty of Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro National Park as well.

excellent, outstanding company and experience
WOW, what can I say, my husband and I spent 8 days on safari and 8 days in Zanzibar with Tanzania Specialists and I can honestly say from start to finish what a fantastic experience. We could not fault the company, the staff or the hotels one bit. We had a mix up with our dates by a few months and without hesitation they were organised and rearranged and with 16 days numerous hotels and flights that was no mean feat so thank you for making that such a pleasant and unstressful time.
It ran smoothly from the moment we arrived until we left, we honestly will travel with no one else on our next trip.
Our driver/guide was simply amazing and gave us the best experience and made sure we seen the top 5 and more with 8 days of long driving to make sure we had the best trip, wow honestly thank you.
Every hotel we stayed at were exceptional particularly the manyara best view lodge, simply stunning. We enjoyed every day on safari be it, arusha, or the Serengeti but lake manyara for us was a real surprise but we just had the best days out where ever we were.
