Received wrong iteam contacted customer services numerous times no response joke of a company never using them again!!!

I bought some solar lights which were not as described (not long enough) so I returned them for refund. 6 weeks later with many reminders from me and apologies from SPV I have not received a refund.

Getting spammed with marketing emails every day from this lot despite unsubscribing many times and even writing to them 2 months ago exercising my GDPR right to be forgotten which they have ignored twice. I will escalate to the ICO but not sure if that will get me anywhere. I wish I’d never bought from them especially as the solar lights I bought stopped working after 6 months.

Excellent customer service. One unit (Post light) had a slight problem.
No hesitation to replace, both the products and service were excellent

I have purchased lights from this company on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed with either quality or price. On this occasion, there was an issue (delivery) but the company dealt with the problem quickly and effectively and I am a happy customer, delighted with my fence lights. Just wish you would use a different courier as everytime Evri are involved there are problems.

Initially I raved about the 128 LED fence solar lights but last week we had 1 explode at our front porch and actually charred the frame, this could have so easily have caught on fire. I didn’t think it was a fault with the light in the first instance, I genuinely thought somebody had attempted to set my house on fire!!!! Then after a friend commented could it be the solar light has exploded, this was when I dug deeper and found that that was actually the case, seeing several pictures of others this has happened too! I can’t bare to think if my grandchildren had been in the area or anybody for that matter! I have now taken down all 12 that I have around the outside of my house and garden & will never buy them again!!! Save your money… I await SPV’s response to my email.. Trading Standards need to know that these are a fire hazard

Once you give them details, you will get emails from them on a daily basis, with no unsubscribe link. Even if you contact them requesting to be removed from their emails lists they continue to harass you with spam emails...be aware

We bought 2 lights from this company some years ago. They were excellent so we recently bought 2 more. The new ones do not have the 3 lighting modes advertised, as did the original ones, but only On and Off. SPV ignored several emails and messages, but eventually emailed telling us to return the lights for refund if they were faulty. We never told them the lights were faulty but we did ask for a refund of the difference between the cost of the lights we had paid for and those supplied. The company has deliberately ignored our request. We will not use them again.

4 lights ordered and received ok. Charged as recommended but one light failed to work and though I know I should have reported this issue to SPV I was remiss and failed to, my bad I know but I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. However. More alarmingly one of the remaining 3 lights has, basically, exploded. The whole side of the light has been blown apart and with some force and obvious heat given the charred plastic. I’m in Scotland and on site having spent the last 2 years building our new home, typical of Scotland, timber frame - perhaps not typical, also timber clad. Thankfully I can only assume the exploding light occurred during one of ourfrequent wet days, had it been on a day like we have had of late (bright sunshine and warm) then I must admit to being extremely concerned that our new home could have been reduced to cinders - only just a few weeks ago a lithium battery was seen to be the cause of a devastating fire in Glasgow, so I really don’t view this as an insignificant event.
I contacted SPV who at first appeared concerned and I stated I did not have any confidence with the remaining 2 lights (part of a bad batch perhaps 🤔) and would like to return all I had for a full refund (£40). In reply, and email saying they would only reimburse the light that exploded. I told them to bash it and thanks for nothing - I felt it was actually far more important to make it clear to other potential customers that these lights are obviously cheap, totally uncertified rubbish that represent a real fire hazard and danger to property and life. Buy at your peril, but my advice, avoid like the plague.

These were to replace similar lights bought quite a few years ago and still going although with a few bulbs out.
Hopefully this new set of lights will be just as good.
Easy to set up, look great, what’s not to like!
