Dreadful. Invoice said Order would be delivered in 3-4 business days. Received nothing. Emails a week later - received no reply. Then 3 weeks later I received a text message from Parcel Force saying my item would be dispatched the following day. Tracking Number on the Parcelforce website said "Item not received". Sent another email to Spices of India - no response of course. Thankfully paid via PayPal so escalated - awaiting investigation. All, please report them to Trading Standards.

Still waiting on an order I placed over a week ago. I have e mailed them repeatedly and they have not even bothered to reply with an explanation. They have taken my money and not supplied the goods. I am extremely disappointed and unless I hear from them with an explanation I will never use them again. Terrible.

Have used previously with reasonable results until one time last year when an order was cancelled but not advised. topped using them for awhile then tried again as unable to source special ginger tea elsewhere. So... ordered some tea in November paying through Paypal. Promised delivery date came and went... no response to my emails. 4 weeks or so later a box arrived containing a Wok I haven't ordered. Again further emails with no response. Now pursuing claim through Paypal. Would not use again and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Unacceptable behaviour.

Avoid this company, used to be really good but now not, goods not delivered and says refund on invoice but no refund. Incorrect goods and do nothing. Communication difficult with no phone and e-mail they answer about 1 in 10. When you do get an answer they are extremely rude and imply one should not complain, now going through paypal to try and get money back.

luckily i paid with paypal so hopefully will get money back. strange thing is had email saying curry paste i like had just come in stock so they must be trading?? avoid or at least use paypal and be prepared to wait for refund..

Avoid. I think they may well have gone out of business. Like others I have used them for several years and everything has been satisfactory. But no acknowledgement of my latest order (although they took the money via PayPal), two emails ignored and no-one answers the phone. I looked at my inbox and noticed they stopped sending out promotional emails at the beginning of October so I suspect that's when they stopped trading.

Very bad experience
I am using this company for 3,4 years to buy Indian/Pakistani groceries.
This time the service was so bad that I couldn’t stop my self giving bad review.I usually avoid giving bad reviews.
I ordered my stuff on 16th of September and recieved a confirmation email and text message that I will receive my stuff by 19th September.I didn’t receive anything on that day.
I send 2 emails to them asking about my stuff but no reply.
I tried to call them but no one pick up the phone.
Finally on 29th September I received my box.
One item (pomegranate seeds)were expiring in October 2019 and pillsburry chakki atta was already expired on 12th June 2019.I received this item on 29th of September 2019.
I sent them an email with pictures of the expired item.
Next day I received an e mail saying that “Sorry, they are just Best Before Date / Not Use By Dates…”.
They didn’t offer refund or anything.
It’s feel like they don’t care about their customers or even their business anymore.
I didn’t pay £10.95 to get an expired bag of flour. Every one knows how quickly flour gets rancid.This is ridiculous.
The website is very outdated, slow and difficult to use.They still include out of stock items without stating that it’s no longer available.I wasted so much time on their website trying to place my order.
This was the last time I had ordered from them.I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone unless they try hard to make an improvement.
Non delivery of item
I placed an order for a spice tin 10 days ago. I paid £4.95 for a 2-3 day delivery but have still not received the item. I contacted them via email (only way to contact them) and Bill replied saying they had misplaced my order but the item was out of stock anyway. I was offered a cheaper alternative but no mention of a refund for the difference. I still haven’t received the item so have asked for a refund, good luck with that I hear you say.

Just took delivery of 5kg of rice today. The best before date ran out 4 months ago. Tried Calling them but just get a message on how to place an order, nobody there to take your call. Last time I order from them
Company not contactable
I have been buying from this company for many years and, although they have provided normally good products, some have been out of date. I ordered in August 2019 and received the goods without any postage being paid so had to collect the goods from the post office and pay the fine despite having paid #4.95 postage and packaging. I have emailed the company several times, I have tried to phone but the call is only a message saying go to the web page, they have not even had the courtesy to reply. I will not buy any further products from them and advise people to stay away from them altogether.

I don't like to give any company a bad review but I think this one deserves it. I placed an order on 26th August and got an immediate confirmation and was told to expect delivery in a couple of days.
Nothing had arrived by Sept 2nd and I sent emails asking what was happening on the 2nd and 3rd but did not get replies to either of them. I had tried phoning but just got a recorded message saying to send an email.
On the 5th I got a card from Royal Mail saying that the postage had bee underpaid and I had to pay an extra £3 on collection.
When I collected the package there was no sign on it of any postage at all having been paid.
There was a compliments slip in the package with a feedback web page. When I tried to go to this page it did not exist.
But at least they did send the stuff eventually and it looks ok.
3 out of 6 item wrong and no communication.
Ordered 6 items from this company and waited an eternity for them to arrive. Even worse, when the order arrived 3 items were wrong! I have written to them 3 times now with varying degrees of urgency but I haven't even received acknowledgement of my emails or from their online contact form. They are truly shocking and if I could be sure that there was anybody that works their competent enough to open a parcel, I'd send my order right back. Like others have said, 1 star is way too generous.

It doesn't even deserve the one star. Shocking service. They send you inferior products but don't refund the difference in price. Then when you ask why - they patronise you, with their self serving attitude - i.e what's your problem it just has different edges (and £8 cheaper). As I explained if i bought a black dress from John Lewis and they sent a cheaper black dress and didn't refund the difference, do you think when I ask why, they would say, what's your problem, it's black and has a completely different shape but it's black dress ?? No - because no business would except this business. I've reported to Trading Standards I suggest you do too. Because you will have a problem with them especially if Sarah is dealing with the issue. I'm staggered and have NEVER written a negative trust pilot before.
