Medical examination was explained to me the Doctor he was very professional, so I felt at ease very pleasant staff were excellent and very helpful with all my enquiries.

Speed Medical has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. They were instructed through ARAG Medical Expenses to manage my medical care after an RTA in February 2024, and they have done nothing but make my physical and mental health worse, damage my ability to work, and put me under severe financial hardship.

I genuinely cannot understand how a company called Speed Medical operates so slowly, carelessly, and incompetently.

Endless Delays & Appalling Organisation

From months-long delays to completely inappropriate lead times, nothing was handled properly. I waited three months just to be sent to an “expert” who saw me for less than five minutes. Then it took another three months to arrange a second appointment — where I waited over 90 minutes past my scheduled time.

Failed Referrals & Cancelled Surgery

It took months to be seen by a wrist specialist, who confirmed I needed surgery urgently. I was told it would be done within weeks. Instead, two surgery dates were cancelled, and I am STILL waiting — over a year after they knew surgery was needed.

Incorrect Bookings & Totally Inconvenient Locations

Appointments were constantly arranged in the wrong places, often nowhere near where I live. I even turned up for a neck injection only to find it had been booked at the wrong location. Over and over again, I was sent here, there, and everywhere with zero consideration for my injuries.

No Care, No Communication, No Accountability

Throughout this entire experience, Speed Medical have shown no concern for the impact they have had on my life. The service has caused real deterioration in my physical health, increased pain, massive stress, and financial difficulties — and yet their staff acted like none of this mattered.

A Company I Will Never Use Again

I am now with a new solicitor, and I have explicitly told them NEVER to use Speed Medical for anything to do with my case. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, especially those already dealing with trauma or serious injuries.

Speed Medical has completely failed in every aspect of their duty. My experience has been nothing short of shocking, and the damage caused will take a long time to repair.

Avoid them at all costs.

I had an RTA on 16/3/25 and had a medical appointment made for me 22/4/25 to assess my injuries. The venue, date and time were very acceptable and I was treated really well by the doctor. Subsequently, I attended 8 physio sessions and again treated very well with much improvement. Speed medical were very pleasant and professional in dealing with my claim.

I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience with Speed Medical over the past few years. I’ve had to fill out the same forms multiple times – at least four, including once in June 2025, when I provided a full GP record. Yet in July 2025, I received another request for the same information. What could realistically change in six weeks? This is disorganised and wasteful.

I’ve had three appointments via Speed Medical so far, and the last one was absolutely shocking. In 2024, I saw an orthopedic specialist in a dingy, unprofessional setting. They asked me no questions during the appointment and simply read what I had written in the pre-appointment document. No examination, no proper consultation.

Despite dealing with ongoing symptoms from an accident over three years ago—including random numbness in my feet and hands and debilitating migraines—I was told there was “nothing wrong.” I had to request an MRI, which tells you everything about how dismissive the process was.

To make any progress with my recovery, I’ve spent a significant amount of my own money on private physiotherapy, just to get basic care that should have been managed properly in the first place.

Disorganised, impersonal, and ineffective. I would not recommend Speed Medical based on my experience.

My solicitor had arranged this due to a personal injury claim.
My appointment was in a dinghy room in a hotel, I tried to explain to him about stuff but he wasn't interested.
After months of waiting for appointment that they kept changing the dates & then finally the day arrived expecting a proper full medical to be done regarding my injury but no 99% questions & just 9 minutes of their time....
My appointment was in December 2024 yet 6 months later my solicitor is still waiting for their report.
Totally unacceptable service, so many bad reviews how are the legal companies still using them ???

Absolutely appalling service, no care or attention shown to my wife - the so called examination was laughable and to say that insurance companies rely on this shoddy service amazes me that they are still in business and can get away with it!
My wife's no fault accident is still waiting to be resolved - 3yrs after the incident and most of this I blame Speed Medical - avoid like the plague! This company should not still be in business.

Try and avoid if you can ,I had to cancel a few times due to child care .on the phone they'll say this is fine and no charge will be incurred, then proceed to charge me £360 ,they will not tell you about the charge before hand .my xhild wasn't well and it was also the school holidays ,money grabbers

Not a great experience at all.

Saw what I think was a GP to conduct an assessment after my road traffic accident and advise on my injuries.

This man was not interested at all in my injury or what happened in the incident. He showed no characteristics or qualities of a caring medical professional.

The whole experience was very cold and clinical and lasted probably no longer than five minutes. He stood me up and told me to do some very very basic movements, made some scribbles on a piece of paper and I was on my way.

Honestly you can tell this man is getting a happy payday for this type of business and that is all he cares about. Does not seem to care about the patients or their injuries.

The whole thing was just weird, conducted in a dark, isolated room in a hotel, no greetings, no description of the process, just very odd and very weird. It was a tick box exercise for this man and presumably his employer speed medical.

Would not recommend.

Totally useless. Had a medical following a non-fault accident. Solicitors sent me for a medical with Speed Medical and was told the report would be done in 2-3 weeks. Its now coming up to 7 weeks , and still no medical report. Every day they delay this, its costing me money. Every time I call them, they say "give us a couple more days." Beginning to give up hope on ever receiving the report. They definitely shouldn't have the word Speed in their company name. Rubbish.

Get these guys off the Internet they obviously cause people problems and in this line of profession they can't afford to be on hear these are medical situations and there's no room for mess ups 👎

If you can avoid them run as far as you can. I was sent to them via my solicitors for their “services”. They are so useless they don’t even know the correct ways to obtain medical records and they lie about not receiving responses or lie that they weren’t instructed properly. I then get them all the information they need to them saying they still waiting for it when I have proof they have all the records.

They then have useless so called “experts” who you have to wait nearly 3 months for and they are late for the appointment and when I questioned him why he was late he give a ridiculous response of “being part of life mate”. Firstly I’d never have you as a “mate” and secondly if we was late the greedy man would be taking his fee and wouldn’t see you.

Speed harass you by text and calls even after you tell them to stop and they don’t know the UK laws and still think we work off GDPR when we actually use Data Protection Act.

They have a big monopoly in the medico legal market that you’re forced to use them.

Absolute charlatans.

All in it together from insurance companies to medical clowns seen these clowns 6 months after the accident how can anyone say it's going to be another 3 months before fully fit is beyond me you are just a medical person and not a good one at that not mystic meg so what if it takes another year to be fully fit so you can 100% say that after 5 minute without xrays and further medical examination all jokers together 1 star in a result

Very bad experience, called Mrs throughout a whole report when male. Incorrect information. Dreadful company and Nicola did not want to accept I needed to see someone after a cast was removed for a proper assessment after injury

Totally agree with the other one-star rating ... I received a letter stating that they would make an appointment to see a specialist. One month later: nothing! I called them to ask them for the phone number of the specialist and was told it was private. I did some detective work, found the number and made my own appointment. Total waste of space!

Could not organise a drinking event in a brewery.

Poor communication.
Rather send letters than pick up the phone.
Incompetent when dealing with medical records requests.
Slow at arranging medical referrals still waiting nearly FIVE months on.
