Not for me. Possibly illegal.

In order to sign in to this software I ended up with Quickbooks. They did not recognize the license number as one of theirs. I can only surmise that this is a bootleg copy of Quickbooks. Please refund the cost of this product as I will not be using.

To clarify, the license you received is a valid retail license and is designed to be activated directly through the software. It is not dependent on an Intuit online account, and in many cases QuickBooks may still prompt for sign-in even when it is not required for activation or use.

If Intuit is not recognizing the license number, this does not necessarily indicate an issue with the product itself. It often happens when the software attempts to connect to an online account instead of using the standalone activation method provided in your installation guide.

Great support when originally skeptical

I was having a bit of trouble when I realized I purchased a Canadian version of QuickBooks instead of US, but I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Then, I logged into the chat, and a representative was able to help me. I didn't know this company, so I was skeptical at first that this would be resolved especially since the prices of the software was extremely competitive. A lot of trust is needed to make purchases online with no recourse as you can't see who is on the other side. Anyway, It did take awhile, but the problem was resolved by getting the correct version and the rep stayed with me to the end. I definitely will be purchasing other software from them, as the rates are much more reasonable than OTS options. Thank you.

Transferring files didn't work

Installation went fine. We cannot access our online files to download into the desktop version of QB. The phone number on this page does not work. To contact them you need to download WhatsApp. After finally getting it to download and contacting the company, I was told they only help with installation not your company file transfer. We wasted $200 and still have to pay the online fees. Frustrated!!

To clarify, our service strictly covers providing and activating the QuickBooks Desktop license. As stated prior to purchase, we do not handle company file transfers, migrations, or data recovery from QuickBooks Online to Desktop. These processes depend on Intuit’s systems and limitations, which are outside our support scope.

Regarding communication, we do provide support via the channels listed, and we did respond and assist within the scope of installation as agreed.

We understand this situation is inconvenient, but the product delivered and activation service were completed as described. For transferring your company data, we recommend contacting Intuit support directly, as they are best positioned to assist with Online-to-Desktop migration.

As for what you were told about it being “discontinued,” this typically refers to certain older features or formats no longer being supported in newer versions, rather than the entire software being removed.

I was very pleased with the price and…

I was very pleased with the price and ease of installation. The installation was a little time consuming, but I realize download speeds play a big part in timing. I have used QB Desktop for over 30 years and very pleased with the small business features.
