Better deals elsewhere

Skyscanner is great for finding flights quickly and comparing options—it’s easy to use and saves time. But I’ve noticed that Booking.com often comes up cheaper for the exact same flights. Plus, with Booking.com you’re not hit with those sneaky extra charges just for choosing a window seat. Skyscanner is handy, but for the best deal and less add-on fees, Booking.com wins.

Overall, a great experience. Thanks!

I love the options to keep choices open (by month or destination), to help in deciding where and when to go somewhere. If you could extend the month to being over 2 months (e.g. as sometimes you will leave in March and return in April), that would be great.

All the sliders were very helpful in choosing the better flight times for us.

I always like skyscanner but was…

I always like skyscanner but was disappointed this time that you were using Trip.com that advertised really low fares right up until the moment of payment and then all of a sudden there was a price change. this happened to me 3 times - -not good for their reputation or yours.

To give some initial context, Skyscanner is a travel search engine that helps find the best offers on flights, hotels, and rental cars. Once you’ve found what you're looking for, you’re redirected to the travel provider's site, in this case, Trip.com, where you make your booking directly. 

Unfortunately, Skyscanner does not set or influence the prices displayed on our platform. We are sent these directly from the providers that we show and rely on these to be accurate and up-to-date. With this being said, prices can change due to availability and demand. Very occasionally, there can also be a problem with the prices being passed through to us to show by a provider, or there are technical reasons why the price is not represented accurately. We are constantly working on improving the accuracy of our prices, which is, of course, in our own interests as well as our users'.

I usually purchase my tickets through…

I usually purchase my tickets through Skyscanner and have generally had a smooth experience. This time, however, I encountered an issue related to a partner, “Aunt Betty” (presented as a partner of Flight Centre), which was prominently marked as “Recommended.” While I appreciate Skyscanner’s effort to guide users, this particular recommendation led to some confusion.

When I contacted Aunt Betty directly, I was informed that booking through their own website would have avoided the issue. Although this was disappointing and indicates room for improvement on Aunt Betty’s side, I want to emphasize that Skyscanner’s team was responsive and helpful in addressing the matter. Their follow-up and accountability are commendable, which is why I am giving Skyscanner a 5-star rating despite my dissatisfaction with Aunt Betty.

Excellent app, still needs improvement

While the app is excellent. You guys still need to work on direct or 1 non stop routes. The app was giving 2 or more stops. Also the currency of buying tickets needs to be worked on. I wanted to buy in NZD whereas it was giving me AUD buying option since the trip is starting in OZ and ending in NZ. Also I have a NZ bank credit card to buy my ticket. Many thanks

Skyscanner is a complete scam. The prices advertised are almost always fake. It need to he shut down!

Flight function almost perfect - hotel functionality poor mediocre

The flight checking service is almost perfect though the hotel booking function is average and would benefit from a set up like wotif use to have before it was bought out. Namely, you can see the price variations for hotels across many days simultaneously for a fuller view of options, confident you havent overpaid, without risk of cookies inflating prices.

Used edreams website referred by sky scanner and my credit card details got compromised and fraudster maxed out my card.
