It was so easy to buy and to activate even for an old person like me. I must admit I was worried it would not work but it was Such a simple process. Will definitely buy another for our UK and Europe trip.

Easy to Set up and great value
really easy to set up and great value. The only thing was in the instructions it said to allow data switching and to leave your original number enabled. I didnt fo this as I was worried it eould switch and Id then have to pay roaming fees.

Just to clarify your point ,enabling data switching and keeping your original number active won’t trigger roaming charges unless you manually use your home carrier for data. Your phone will still prioritise the travel eSIM for data if set correctly.
We totally understand the caution though, and we’re happy to help anytime if you’re unsure during setup.

Easy transition once you know what you're doing. I hadn't read the instructions properly but it was an easy set up. So far it has been working without issue at the start of the trip.

Excellent customer service from Simify staff.
I bought an e-sim from Simify however my trip was cancelled. I notified them to cancel the e-sim and they were so understanding. My refund was in my bank less than 3 hours later. I have used Simify on previous trips and it has been seamless. Will definitely use them again.

Unlimited data is marketing
Unlimited data is marketing - not real. You get 1.5g a day and then you’re throttled claiming a fair use policy.
For me, this was about 1.5 hours of TikTok before my connection became barely usable for 24 hours.
Next time I’ll just get a local sim at the airport when I travel around.

All our unlimited plans come under the Fair Usage Policy, which is common practice throughout the telecommunications industry and is set by our suppliers. Most people don't run into issues with this as their data usage is generally below the threshold, though we understand that your data needs may be higher. 7 day unlimited data for NZ
We bought a 7 day unlimited data package for all 5 of us travelling to NZ. We followed the instructions to set it up at the airport before takeoff. The process was extremely easy and reliable. We used it for Google Maps, WhatsApp, social media and browsing the web. This is the second time I’ve used simify for international travel and I love it. Highly recommend!
