Ive made a few purchases through Maxon, initial software, then software upgrades and updates, and even tickets. Each time the communications and end result are just how I would expect from this amazing software company. I'm very happy and recommend them completely

Never had a less than personal, friendly, understanding, non-condescending, helpful, cheerful voice on my phone as I ordered my upgrade....as for C4D....it is ,as ever., totally fulfilling....

Purchased Cinema 4D Studio R16 with free MSA upgrade to R17. DVD arrived through the post (a somewhat antiquated and annoying way of supplying software, especially if you don't have an old DVD drive readily at hand).
After finally receiving a permanent serial number, the software was great, no complaints.
R17 was released on Tuesday...no news regarding my upgrade that I'd already paid for, so had to contact Maxonshop UK to send me the online upgrade link.
Downloaded and installed R17 software, but my R16 serial number didn't work. No other instructions or emails, so contacted Maxonshop UK again...still waiting for a reply...not good customer service!

Order it, turns up the next day. No mucking about.

Never had a problem with Maxonshop, always been very helpful.
Will add my voice to those increasingly unhappy with the pricing structure / MSA blackmail set-up considering how incredibly poor the R17 upgrade looks. Last chance - R18 had better be spectacular or that's me jumping ship.

They have good customer service but you can often get software and updates cheaper elsewhere. Please also note the following

If you buy a new version of Cinema 4D early, due to how the MSA works (one update in a one year period) unless you extend the MSA within that year you will not get the new version the following year. Make sure you take this into account when working out if a early buyer discount is actually going to save you money in the long run.

If you do not upgrade Cinema 4D within a 3 update period then they consider you to not have a license at all for the purposes of upgrading. You will get this warning to buy once with a month period to buy but as soon as the next version is announced you are too late.

Maxon UK are my favourite software company to deal with - they're helpful and fair - they cut me a great deal when Cinema 4D changed from a modular system to the current pricing model. I would recommend anyone wanting to get into 3D or thinking of making a change to deal with Maxon - over the last 10 years they've provided consistently great service, and I can't think of another technology company who I can say that about!

It is always a pleasure to talk to anyone at maxon, helpful, cheerful and never a problem. - wish I could say the same about other software companies

Bought C4D via the shop and it arrived next day, I can't ask for more. Great service!

Maxon (uk) , has always been a good company to deal with. Their technical support ,when needed, has always been friendly and helpful.

I am a Maxon customer for approximatively 4 years, and I have nothing to complain about. Once there was a mistake between the adress where it was delivered and where the license was registered, they handled the problem really well and send me an other copy of the software with the proper registration code. Great customer service.
