Had the materials I needed which others didn't. Quicker delivery service would have been preferable so had to hire a van to collect but excellent service once I was at the branch

Chap then carried it to the car for me.

I wouldn’t recommend this company after the experience I’ve just had. I ordered a bifold door and the first delivery turned up with both doors damaged and the track completely the wrong size. Mistakes happen, so I gave them the chance to put it right. I then had to wait another week and two days for the replacement… which also arrived damaged, with the wrong size track again.

Two deliveries, same issues, no quality control whatsoever. I now have two sets of damaged doors in my home and still no usable product. I’ve had to request a full refund under my consumer rights because I’m not accepting a third attempt.

If you’re thinking about ordering from them, just be aware of what you might be dealing with. My experience has been nothing but delays, inconvenience and damaged items arriving twice. Not worth the hassle.

I was very impressed with my first transaction with Shawfield Timber. I placed my order at 7:52, received confirmation at 8:04 and notice my order was ready for collection at 08:34. My order was a panel requiring cutting so this was particularly impressive. Now that's a slick operation.
When I collected my order the next morning, this was very easy. The young man on the collection point even carried my perfectly cut shelves to the car. Top marks to all involved with my order.
