This was a very well presented and engaging evening. It challenged us to consider our views on what is an uncomfortable subject. The views were diverse but all equally validated during the course of t... Mehr ansehen

As always, an important subject delivered with interesting information and a dollop of humour to put us at ease. Designed to make us think and educate us, it worked!
Well organised. A brilliant night out with much debate and controversy- perfect for a law talk. Looking forward to many more. We have been to two so far - excellent value for the money.
This is the second talk I've been to at Findhorn. I also attended the online event in October for Halloween. Lindsay takes on serious and sensitive subjects in a professional and gentle manner. The... Mehr ansehen

What a great evening at Lathallan…
What a great evening at Lathallan school last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Something different. The speaker knew her stuff and made the evening. Thank you so much!
Was a great afternoon
Was a great afternoon. very interesting and will definitely go to more. Would highly recommend to family and friends
The Disappearance of the Turners
We attended the forensics event at RGU and it was an excellent evening. So much fun but also really informative and interesting. We’ve also attended The Guilty Act which was interesting and challenged your opinions. We’re booked the Scottish law. Lindsay grabs your attention immediately and her enthusiasm for the subjects is infectious.
This was a new experience for me
This was a new experience for me. I have never really considered the difficulties in sentencing children who commit very serious offences. My only criticism is there was probably too much content. I would have liked more time to discuss the detail of some of the cases.
Really enjoyed this talk
Really enjoyed this talk. Very interesting. Shame it wasn’t longer. With time for a few questions. If you take the tea break out I think you need the talk to be at least the two hours so in other words 7 until 9.30 instead of just the two hours.

It’s was a great experience that really made me glad I was studying law. You are a great speaker and get the point across very well! Great event!!
Attended “kids who kill” in Stirling
Attended “kids who kill” in Stirling. Absolutely brilliant talk. Looking forward to attending more events in the future.
Very informative and thought provoking!
Guilty Act & Forensics Workshop, Peterhead Prison
I attended the Guilty Act at Peterhead Prison on Fri 23rd August followed by the Forensics Workshop on Sat 24th. The two hour session on Fri evening flew by and I would happily have stayed a further two hours. A number of cases were presented and discussed and I learned a lot about the differences between murder and culpable homicide. Lyndsay is very skilled at presenting and the details were very well explained, with plenty of opportunities to openly discuss with other members of the audience. The following day saw a very interesting afternoon learning about various forensic techniques with practical aspects as well as detailed discussion. Again the session ended all too quickly with the time just flying by. I will definitely be looking out for the next opportunity to join Lyndsay at Scots Law Talks.
Brilliant and engaging evening at Peterhead Prison
I attended the Guilty Act talk at Peterhead Prison and had an excellent time. Lindsay was brilliant and kept the audience engaged throughout and I loved how interactive the session was. She is clearly passionate about her subject and this made it so easy to get involved in the event and I learned so much whilst there! The Guilty Act talk was so good that I actually applied to study the LLB after attending and have since been accepted on to the course, so thank you Lindsay for inspiring me!
So interesting
So interesting! Presenter explained all so clearly, fascinating from start to finish
Excellent presenter and interaction…
Excellent presenter and interaction with the "jury." Really enjoyed it and look forward to attending more.

A great evening that was both interesting and entertaining. Well worth attending and I shall be going to more as they become available.
Learning about the law made fun!
Had a great evening exploring the guilty verdict. The way you are guided through the legal elements by exploring real past crimes to inform your verdict is very clever and engaging. The delivery by Lindsay was brilliant, she has a passion for her subject and talent in bringing it to life.
Great afternoon and lots of fun
Great afternoon learning about methods of evidence gathering. Practical and hands on and fun despite the theme of murder. Very welcoming team and informative. Relaxed atmosphere and would highly recommend
