Booking with Sadat was the best decision. As a first-time hajji, I could focus entirely on ibaadat without worrying about logistics. That’s exactly what you need when you’re doing something this significant.

The Pullman Zamzam is genuinely unbeatable. Our 7-day stay with a haram-view room overlooking the clock tower meant you’re literally steps away from the mosque and the mall. The location alone is worth it because there’s no wasted time on travel. Food catering for breakfast and dinner was proper, mostly geared toward Pakistani tastes but with good variety from other cuisines. If you have dietary requirements, they’re responsive to that too.

Sajjad Saab and Munawar Saab are the standout. Their energy never drops, and they’re always present. Honestly not sure when they sleep. They conducted all our umrahs with complete supervision. It’s straightforward: you repeat after them, and everything gets done correctly. When hajj gets genuinely tough because it does, they’re right there with you, keeping spirits up with regular mehfils and making it feel like everyone’s going through it together rather than solo. Syed Usama and Syed Avais handled English interpretation of all speeches and the massive backend logistics seamlessly. They answer questions in person or over WhatsApp, and they’ll post anonymous responses to common questions in the group so everyone benefits.

The shift to Aziziyah closer to hajj days makes real sense. You’re spending most of your time away from Haram anyway, so this saves you huge amounts of travel time. When Saudi road closures hit during peak hajj because they’re strict about it, Sadat didn’t just complain. They arranged alternatives: got us on trains to Medina instead of coaches that would’ve doubled travel time, sent main luggage ahead so we could travel light. The WhatsApp group is constantly updated, and you can ask questions privately or in the group. They handle it all without drama.

They ran seminars in the UK before we left with real emphasis on understanding hajj’s meaning and structure. The sequence matters because they ensure everything follows the sunnah of Rasoolullah. That preparation made a huge difference when you’re actually there.

This is the bit that surprised me. The group was genuinely nice, really funny, and supportive. You get out what you put in, but the vibe is solid. You’ll need at least basic Urdu or Punjabi, but honestly it’s not a huge requirement. English is fine, and everyone speaks it. If you don’t have the languages, you won’t struggle.

The 21-day package is good if you can afford that length. But Sadat accommodated different package lengths for people with varying budgets and also took pilgrims from different countries without making a fuss of it. Healthcare is already covered by the Saudi hajj authority, and any additional support or advice Sadat could give, they did.

If you’re doing hajj for the first time, book them. If you want to outsource the headache of logistics and just focus on worship, they’re your option. Basically, if you want hajj to be about worship rather than stress, they’re who you need.

If I get called for hajj again, Sadat’s my first choice, no question. For umrah inshallah, I’m booking straight back with them

•The pre‑Hajj seminar in Blackburn was extremely informative and gave us confidence before travelling.
• Our journey from Manchester to Jeddah was smooth and well‑organised under the leadership of Sadat‑e‑Karam.
• Coaches were already arranged at Jeddah Airport, ensuring a quick and comfortable transfer to Makkah.
• We performed Umrah together as a group, guided beautifully by the Sadat scholars.
• Every stage of the Hajj manasik was carried out according to the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
• Regular learning sessions were arranged in the hotels, which helped us understand each step of the pilgrimage.
• Food was provided in all hotels, making the stay comfortable and stress‑free.
• For our travel to Madina Shareef, bullet train tickets were arranged in advance, which made the journey very convenient.
• The group also organised Riyaz‑ul‑Jannah visits for all hujjaj, which was a great blessing.

Overall, Sadat Hajj & Umrah delivered a well‑structured, spiritually uplifting, and highly organised Hajj experience. I highly recommend them.

We have completed our Hajj and Alhamdullilah it was flawlessly executed by the team at Sadat.

From the initial booking through to the training, completion of our Umrah and finally culminating in the fulfilment of the Hajj rituals.

With Sadat we had the luxury of having the scholars at hand at all times. Also everywhere we went we had private coach transfers. The food was amazing and was plentiful and as an added bonus they provided a free drinks fridge with a large variety of drinks and an ice cream which was highly appreciated given the extreme heat.

To top everything off everyone helped everyone else and this was encouraged by the team leaders.

Their top class service, their impeccable knowledge and their 24/7 support is unmatchable with any other organisation. The best organisation for Hajj and Umrah I have ever experienced. Starting from the helpful staff, available for support 24/7 with politeness and kindness. The guidance provided in Makkah and Medina is exceptional, with first class VIP treatment across the holy sites. Very reasonable in price and the knowledge the guides posses is unbelievable. I have been with this organisation multiple times and they never disappoint. May Allah give them so much barkat for guiding us to the holy cities.

It was my first time going for umrah with my mother and we really enjoyed our experience. The Sadat group provided valuable information along the way, always on hand for any questions and also had a translator which is always useful. We would like to book with this group again for its ease and convenience.

My wife and I performed Umrah with Sadat Group from 22/12/25 to 03/01/26 and had an excellent, stress-free experience. From the very first meeting at Manchester Airport, the group leader from Sadat, Pir Syed Sajjad Hussain Shah Bukhari (Shah Saab) was welcoming, supportive, and highly organized, helping pilgrims with Ihram, providing clear communication via WhatsApp, and ensuring everyone felt comfortable.

The group consisted of around 65 people from across the UK, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere throughout the journey. In Makkah and Madinah, Pir Syed Munawar Hussain, Syed Usama Shah, and other Sadat staff ensured smooth hotel arrangements, guided Umrah rituals, and well-organized Ziyarat tours to historically significant sites. The English explanations provided by Syed Usama Shah were especially beneficial for younger and non-Urdu-speaking pilgrims.

I want to highlight the dedication, availability, and humility of the Sadat staff, particularly Shah Saab, who consistently made himself accessible for guidance and support. The group catered to different language needs, handled visas and logistics seamlessly, and allowed pilgrims to focus entirely on their worship.

I highly recommend Sadat Group for Umrah, and thank them for their professionalism, care, and spiritual guidance, I hope to be able to go with them again in the future, Inshallah.

Alhamdulillah, I chose to go with sadat group through local recommendations and me speaking to the older pir sahab personally prior to booking. Expectations met differently to what I thought a group would offer. As I had my son with me, who is a kidney transplant patient, pir sab reassured me during booking.

We were allocated a different hotel to the original Emar Grand. The rooms lacked comfort and the bathrooms were not of standard to what we would expect , very run down and unkept . I would not recommend to take this hotel especially for people with elders, children and ill health. I have written a separate review re hotel on its own page.

On a positive note ,We had support from people working alongside the group members, especially Ahmed Raza (based in Saudi) ad Saheb sab (from Saudi) who worked round the clock to support the pilgrims.

Ziyarahs were enjoyable, although a little rushed and missjng namaz in Masjid Qiblatain was disappointing as the Adhan for zohar had commenced, subsequently missing zohar salah in the haram on return.

Brother Usama was very good translating in English as he was with a group before ours otherwise it was difficult for non urdu speakers, youngsters, children to listen to urdu context early on in the week. This is something that needs to be considered for future generations, English translations throughout the visit, both verbally and on social media.

Even better if, all the groups were given the same level of khidma when travelling to Jeddah from Madinah via flight as we all paid the same price for package. If the previous 2 groups who paid the same price for package, why was flight not an option for the our group paying the same amount ?

Emar al manar hotel has significant building work around its complex which disrupted sleep for many of the families in the group, including us. We had to request a move as debris was falling on our window and the continuous bulldozing made it impossible to sleep for 2 days consecutively both in the day and night. The hotel management are not helpful,ignorant to our concerns.

Travel to Makkah to Madina was organised via coach, and whilst in Makkah we were informed we would leave at 10am with stops in between , reaching madinah between 6-8pm. Due to health reasons I chose to travel by Haramain train for my son and myself as a 8-10 hour journey was not ideal. This was an additional personal cost. Again this is not an ideal journey time
For some pilgrims.

Our journey to Jeddah from Madinah in the middle of the night via coach was rough with a driver who was not very well suited in his driving. Driving at speed and at one point drive with the coach tilted to pass through an overturned truck on the highway.

The driver got ranty with me because my son Requested to use the toilet in the coach - ( this is due to his health condition) and also a 6 hour trip to Jeddah anyone would want to use wc facilities- the toilet was apparently not functioning and if my son was to use it , the flush wasn't working and would cause leakage in the coach. A functioning toilet should be available for all on a long distance travel!!!! Basic needs should be available for travellers, and this should be checked by the group for ease of journey.

Umrah- we set off with the group but split in mataf due to the volume of crowd. Umrah was completed independently and we had no communications with the group leader for the rest of the day. My son and I navigated the umrah process independently and shukr it all worked out perfectly.

Communication via watsapp was sometimes delayed unless prompted. Again if brother usama hadnt relayed the message in English upon request, the non urdu speakers were not able to access.

There were some lovely couples and families that we knew we could reach out to if we needed any assistance, which is what makes the journey easy as we all are there for one another as an Ummah, so thank you to those wonderful people in the group.

Alternative nearby hotels close to haram were offered to families with personal health needs, why was this option not offered to all families who had health, disability issues?

JazakAllah for the group leaders for organising the laundry service and kajoor purchasing, which is appreciated.

Transparency when making enquiries regarding the umrah package should be clear.

An itinerary prior to leaving for umrah would be ideal as we didn't have any contact in person at Manchester airport until arriving at Jeddah.

Serving the families water or snacks as a token of goodwill and generosity, on the ziyarahs would be an incentive too, especially the groups with vulnerable and young children and elderly travellers.

I would also add, that giving an honest review is for the purpose of future pilgrims who don't fall into the trap of having to navigate their own Umrah journey.

Alhumdullilah my family and I have just completed our first Umrah with Sadat group. We chose this group after great consideration. We heard nothing but good from all the people that we knew that had travelled with the Sadat group. Even our local mosque knew of the leads which put our hearts at ease. After that it was just easy from start to finish. I will not go into too much detail but rest assured Insha Allah you will have the best experience! We had a mixture of ages and needs in our family and all were taken care of. Even other families had babies and no one struggled. What stood out the most for us was that the warmness and kindness that emanates from all of the members of the group. It was like we were all one big family. There was no judgement at all. We all come from different backgrounds and with different levels of understanding of our deen. Some of us at the start of our journeys and others at other points. We were not left alone to fend for ourselves at all. The support staff were very helpful too. The group leads held casual meet ups throughout the days and were on hand at all times. All the team were approachable which helped too. Peer Sahib is very enchanting. We were totally amazed at the amount of knowledge that Peer Sahib holds and the enchanting way that the knowledge was relayed. You could sit for hours and not be bored at all plus you went back to your room in awe. Peer Sahib relates the historical sites with passion and you are grabbed and taken into that journey wanting to learn more and more. There were many families that had completed their Umrahs multiple times with this group and that is a testimony in itself. IA we are hoping to come back again if Allah SWT wills it with our children IA. Last point this group was not the cheapest group we looked at,however it was worth every single penny as it is not just the comfort of the transport and hotel, you should look at the amount of knowledge and support too. The group were with you every step of the way. Just a suggestion, it maybe helpful if the group had an itenery for each of the days. My family and I had a wonderful experience and IA hope to visit the blessed cities with Sadat group again.
