Gary Thompson was say kind and caring…

Gary Thompson was very kind and caring when he delivered the equipment. Explained everything I needed to know. Offered to help with getting me some water when I struggled to catch my breath back. Very kind and caring person. A true asset to this company.

Ready for my holiday now.

When my wheelchair arrived there were no clips under the arms so today Sean Taylor came and fitted them. He was friendly and showed us how to remove them if we needed to. Then left and wished us a happy holiday
(My husband obviously told him we were going and it is my 1st holiday with a wheelchair) Thank you for your good service and support. Sue Wherry

Sean Taylor from Ross Care visited to fix the brakes on a wheelchair. He was really friendly, sorted the issue in no time, and also pumped the tyres up to save me a job. Would definitely welcome him back.

The engineer that came today was Sean…

The engineer that came today was Sean Taylor. He contacted me prior to his arrival which was helpful. This is not the first time that we have met Sean, on each occasion he has been, friendly and polite. When speaking Sean addressed both myself and also the disabled client which made him feel included and valued. Sean is knowledgeable and patient. On this occasion, upon seeing the client seated in the wheelchair, he identified postural issues and made a recommendation that would help the client to be seated more comfortably upright in the wheelchair. Sean also very kindly lifted the wheelchair from the back of my car and assembled it for me as I was unable to do so myself due to an injury. We are both grateful for the help we received today and are looking forward to getting out and about with the wheelchair!

Gary was very thorough and helpful in resolving an issue. Gary was helpful, happy, approachable and he was determined to get to the bottom of the issue to ensure a resident could use her wheelchair. Couldn't recommend Gary enough. Great service

Everything was excellent

Everything was excellent! The delivery was fast, everything was explained with great care, and the chair was perfectly fitted and adjusted for my mother. We truly appreciate it!

Excellent Service

Friendly delivery and set up from Sean Taylor. A courtesy phonecall when he was on his way, this is always appreciated when you have children or young adults with disabilities or additional needs 😊.

Sean set up the new chair for my son with ease, and was gentle and reassuring the entire time as he fitted the safety harness and belts around him.

A swift and professional visit, but not lacking any customer service elements 😊
A credit to the team.

I'd like to state that from calling to request a fit check on his previous chair, to ordering the replacement, each member of the team I have spoken to, have been friendly, warm and knowledgeable. Nothing has been too much trouble from start to finish.

Extremely disappointed with the service…

Extremely disappointed with the service from Ross Care regarding repairs to my wheelchair. My chair was taken away for an extended period, and I was told by both Wheelchair Services and Ross Care that it was ready for collection. However, when I arrived, it had not even been touched.

To make matters worse, the wrong parts had been ordered and sent to Southport Wheelchair Services to be fitted by the representative. This level of disorganisation is unacceptable, especially when people rely on this equipment for their independence and day-to-day mobility.

My wheelchair (a Rogue 2) has been nothing but problems. Previously, the main wheel developed a buckle, which took far too long to resolve, and now there is also a broken catch on the replacement chair that I was told would be repaired — yet it still hasn’t been done. It’s something I could have sorted myself within a couple of days.

It is incredibly frustrating that a company like Ross Care, which should have the resources and systems in place, cannot complete straightforward repairs in a reasonable timeframe. Essential mobility equipment should never be treated this way. People depend on these chairs every single day. Much better communication, organisation, and urgency are needed.
