Scam Company Hidden Subscription Charge

I purchased the test strips and like many others was subscribed to a monthly fee for ghost services. The website is fake. This is a subscription scam. I reached out on the 'chat' and it just says connecting you but nothing ever happens. I got scammed out of $199.90 and just want the charges to stop but even the support line goes unanswered. Avoid this company at all costs.

I've been trying to cancel this service…

I've been trying to cancel this service for over 6 months. It's impossible to do that.
Have to call a number and it just rings, no matter what time I call.
I would give this no stars but I can't.
So do not sign up because you WILL NOT be able to cancel.

They are scammers who don't respond and charge you monthly without letting you know. Hopefully someone reads all the reviews and can find other options.

Terrible company values like all the other reviews said

Just like all the other reviews stated... they hide that there will be subscription fee. They will not send you product, nor a email saying you will be charged. They will also not refund you for the hiding of the subscription. They told me to disput it with my credit card company. I liked the test but the comapny is terrible for scamming you into a subscription and not being willing to correct it.

That this Company is a rip off.

These people are worse than I’ve have dealt with in a long time . They trick people into the deal and purposely hide the details about what you will pay . Then refused to offer a return so I ended up paying the price of the kit because it was delivered. They are not a worthy company . Can you imagine getting personal health advise from a Company like this . I make sure I tell everyone of my experience .

BEWARE!!! While the product is what was stated…

While the product is what was stated and seems to work, the company DOES NOT explain that upon purchase you will be charged $20/month to your card! This is a subscription trap! Check your statements for unknown charges. Unfortunately when you go to their website it is one page of Terms and Conditions and...IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, YOU MAY DO SO ELECTRONICALLY BY CONTACTING OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM. Then they do not provide the contact info for the team anywhere on the site. It's just a little dialog box in the bottom right. When I start, it simply brings up a bubble stating "connecting you with someone now" then nothing.

I have not used my Ribbon testing kit…

I have not used my Ribbon testing kit yet and have been paying 19.99 a month for at least 6 months. I have not been able to contact anyone to cancel my subscription. Frustrating!
Update on my review.. I have been in the chat for over an hour waiting for someone to respond to my request for subscription cancellation… no response! Unbelievable!
Now, I will have to go through the hassle of contacting my credit card company for something they could have easily done!
Ok, now been a whole day..😂but, why though????????
Yes, I could give you $19.99 every month for the rest of my life ( ummm for no apparent reason) but I would prefer to add it to my St Jude monthly donation to actually help children instead of going to your money grubbing hands!😮😆Wow, dis I actually say that, ummm, yep!
So, to the BBB u go.. as well as credit card company.. and I’m thinking maybe my attorney 🤔Not sure how far I may take this but be forewarned, Ribbon, and ANYONE thinking about buying this! lol, sooo not good!

Hidden Subscription Charges — Be Careful

After receiving the product, I later realized that they had automatically enrolled me in a monthly subscription costing $19.99 without clearly informing me. Several months later, I noticed the recurring charges on my bank statement and tried contacting customer support, but there was no phone number listed on their website.

I ended up using their website chat support, but they refused to refund the subscription charges that had been billed to my credit card. Because of this, I had to contact my bank and file a dispute.

Just a heads-up for anyone considering this product — be aware of the automatic subscription charges.

This company is a scam and they charged…

This company is a scam and they charged me a subscription without ever notifying me. I was not told at time of check out, not with purchased box and another via email or text that I would be charged additional subscription fees. Now they refuse to credit and my box of materials is no good anymore. This company is a scam getting your credit card and then making unauthorized charges.
Update, I did speak to your chat support and all they said is we can’t refund and that I was notified at time of purchase but I was not at any time aware of a subscription or I would not have purchased it. My only intention was to do a monthly test that would have obviously taken me past the 30 days. You are lying that this was disclosed at time of purchase.

Very Dissatisfied Customer!!!

I have read other comments from unhappy customers and wished I had seen these reviews prior to getting involved in something with a monthly charge. I thought I was buying a kit with all the interpretations of the tests on detailed color graphs etc. I am being charged a monthly fee of $19.99/ month!!! I can’t get in touch with anyone except via texting and even that’s difficult! The customer support kept telling me to go to my bank. I know what the bank will say as well as pay pal or however the payment is being made, the banks kick you back to the Seller!!!
That is a vicious cycle with no solution!
I am not happy at all with this company!
There’s no place to find out how to cancel the subscription, and God forbid there’s a phone number to call and if there is one they never answer!!! Don’t ever get involved with this website bc you will see the problems you will have to get out of the mess. I’e tried for months to reach this company with no success until recently through texting. This woman would not get her supervisor and she abruptly ended my communication!
I cannot deal with having money removed from my account when I clearly do not want their product!!! I was told you didn’t pay for the Ribbon Box Test Kit, but rather paying for an App that you compare your test results on!!! It’s not made clear on their site just what they want. This I found out when I said ok I’ll just suck up the cost of the lit but please stop making withdrawals from my account as I don’t want it for months now bc it’s not easy to contact them. I requested my money back by original meirhod of payment and she said NO that the purchase was beyond 30 days!!! Have they stretched the time frame out on purpose so as not to reimburse me???
All I know is I am very angry and feel taken advantage of bc of a poorly constructed website or some reason!!!
I cannot afford money taken from my account bc they won’t cancel this account when they don’t answer or return Texts and attempts to call. Nicely put it’s all a total scam.😡😡😡🤬

What a scam

What a scam! The product is unusable and the company is not even in this country! I sent a cancel email when I finally found an email address but I want a refund for the unknown monthly charges as you scammed me! The kit was never usable! I’m a senior on a fixed income and you should be ashamed!

I agree with all the other…

I agree with all the other reviews...the $19.99 monthly charge was not made obvious when I ordered the test kit. I do not trust a company that does things in a way that is not upfront and out in the open. And now I can not log into my account to even use the testing kits as their system seems not to respond. Buyer beware. They are not a good company to align yourself with.

They charge a monthly fee of 19.99 to get results , they say it’s shown at checkout. I didn’t see it. I got it for my mom to detect early UTI issues. At this rate a doc will be cheaper if she only has concerns 1 or 2 times a year.

This is a scam

This is a scam. After purchasing a test, they started charging $19.99 each month to my card. I never agreed to a subscription. I disputed the transaction and got a new card, after which they somehow STILL managed to charge the new card. Their website does not even have a login function. Do not buy anything from them.

Subscriptions also cannot continue billing a completely new card unless it is linked through the same payment provider, which may automatically update payment details — but we understand how this can be confusing and concerning.

Had no idea I’d be charged 19.99 per…

Had no idea I’d be charged 19.99 per month!!! Come to find out, there’s a 4.99 per month option but again, I never saw a choice or any information regarding an ongoing monthly fee! Very disappointing and seems fraudulent.
