I have submitted proof of rental payments for an entire two year period of time, and they still have only reported two payments and to only two of the three credit bureaus. I have proven rent being paid multiple ways, including my landlord confirming all 24 payments being on time.
They website and app offer zero help, and the phone number works for a 3 hour period Monday - Friday, and I am unavailable those times

We have now uploaded copies of the credit reports to your dashboard that show the full 24 months of reporting currently reflected with the two bureaus that have processed the tradeline. We encourage you to review those reports directly, as they provide the most accurate view of how the tradeline is being displayed. Regarding Experian, that bureau can take longer to update, and we generally recommend allowing up to 45 days for the reporting to appear there. We understand how important this is and appreciate you bringing your concerns forward.

"I registered for this service nearly a year ago. Despite submitting my rental verification and linking my bank account five separate times, my rent payments are still not appearing on any of my credit reports. I have attempted to resolve this through multiple calls and emails, yet the issue remains unaddressed. If this is not corrected immediately, I will be forced to cancel my service and move to a different provider.

I'm glad I didn't give up on them so soon!
It took a little over 2 weeks... going back and forward about receiving documents... that was sent 5 times.... So, I eventually asked them to check their spam... they did and they found all my documents in the spam folder. The next day my scores went up over 41pts..! I'm glad I didn't give up on them so soon! I will definitely be referring people to them!

Cheap service.
I reported that my lease started 12/2023. Mark only reported 2025. And did not report 2024. I paid the money for this to be added to my report and now I only have 1 year of actual rent reported. Not very user friendly. Hard to understand due to language barrier. Not get the accurate information. I was not even given any information about additional charges.

On March 29, 2026, at approximately 9:10 a.m., I initiated a payment of $274.95 to Rent Reporters to secure annual credit reporting services. This payment was to facilitate expedited reporting within a 3-5-day period and to address two previous rental accounts. My investigation into the implications of this service revealed that my prior rental properties were classified as commercial, specifically that both apartments, including one at Studio 6, were categorized as commercial properties. This classification came as a surprise to me, particularly as it was not disclosed on the Rent Reporters website.
Given my status as a permanently disabled individual living on a limited income, enhancing my credit profile is essential. Shortly after making the payment, I reached out to Rent Reporters via their application and followed up with an email detailing my situation and requesting a refund. The next day, I called their customer service and spoke with an agent, who informed me that the call was being recorded. During this conversation, I reiterated my refund request because their service is not applicable to my situation. The agent indicated that because I had provided my unit number, a refund was possible, but it would be processed only after a 7-day reporting period.
Subsequently, I sent two additional emails requesting the refund, but received no response. This lack of communication raises concerns regarding Rent Reporters' corporate governance standards. They were made aware of the specific circumstances leading to my refund request almost immediately, but chose not to fulfill it. This scenario reflects several issues, including a lack of transparency, inadequate disclosures, and potentially deceptive business practices.
The company's conduct raises questions about unjust enrichment, failure of consideration, violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and negligent misrepresentation. By accepting payment for a service that was ultimately unsuitable for my context, and then delaying the refund despite immediate notification of these complications, Rent Reporters exhibits a troubling approach to customer relations. This is compounded by the backgrounds of their leadership—John Simpson, Heather Smith, and Mark DaBell—who come from reputable organizations such as Deloitte, suggesting a disconnect between their corporate ethical practices and the standard of accountability expected of their leadership.
In summary, my experience with Rent Reporters has been disappointing. Their treatment of my case reflects a broader issue of corporate insensitivity towards consumers, particularly those who may already feel marginalized in financial contexts. Corporate governance, ethical and principled governance, and valuing those who choose you over a myriad of other companies, is not going to be offered at Rent Reporters. I rarely review, but when I do, it is because I want others to be informed. For those considering using this company, do not. For those who have experienced similar mistreatment, come together to fight back by responding to those, like me, who are not going to be a victim.
