Despite being forced by the Competitions & Markets Authority to make major changes to their terms regarding refunds and address customer compensation for service failures, Randox think they can ignore customer requests that meet the criteria they have set down. The CMA are monitoring Randox compliance and advised me to contact Dept of Health to complain as well. DoH approved Randox to provide Covid-19 testing services
I used the banks Chargeback facility and Randox threw everything into fighting for the charges to be re-applied. These are charges for services they have not delivered. It's simple - that's theft !
They have screwed over a lot of customers, but this is one customer who isn't going to give up.
Randox - I'm coming for you and I am going to make sure you feel some pain for your shoddy business practices.
If anyone is in doubt, just listen to their recorded telephone message that outlines what they won't do and how inflexible they can be. Literally zero customer service and accountability.

I cancelled my order more than 1 month, Still I am waiting refund. I called them at least 5 times but I could not get any response yet. I will send my complaint to government. Do not trust them. Do not take any test from them..

Thieves! I ordered 4 x Day 2 and Day 8 PCR tests in December. I requested a refund shortly after receipt inline with Randox' 14 day cancellation period. Despite receiving a refund email confirmation I still have not received my money back - over £170. Despite multiple emails and attempts to speak to someone they continue to ignore me. Do not use - thoroughly unprofessional and disgraceful.

I ordered a Day 2 PCR test for my son which was dispatched on 4 January and it arrived a week later on the 10th in the evening about 6pm. FAR TOO LATE TO BE USED! My son contacted Randox who assured him he could get a refund. It is now 11th February and still no refund! My son and I have contacted Randox regarding the refund and they are now completely ignoring us. I have advised Randox that I will be contacting the Government so that Randox get taken off their recommended Covid testing site.

Booked AND PAID for the 1-3 hour fast track due to flights the folowing day, arrived for 5.00pm tests x 2 and experince was easy and straightforward, however at 7.00pm we recieved notification that results where in the lab and then 8.00pm came and went (after 7.00pm there is no contact available) the hours went by and bearing in mind you cannot check in for your flights or apply for your visa into the Maldives untill these details are processed our relaxing holiday became one of sheer panic and anxiety, no contacts, no available bookings the next morning and we where at the point where we had assumed we would lose our holiday of a lifetime, when the results finally came through at 1.40am, 8.5 hours after taking the test, meaning absolute panic in filling alll the travel documentation to get it processed in time

This is not fully Randox's fault, but wanted to share our experience to avoid other people having the same issue. We purchased two Antigen testing kits which are self-test, but validated by a health professional. Our understanding of self-tests that were not valid were the NHS type ones we do at home with no checking from anyone else. Upon arrival in Portugal we were advised that the Randox Antigen are considered 'self tests' and are therefore not valid, even though we had the Certifly document printed. We had to do a PCR test upon arrival at 25 euros each. There was five other people who had to do a PCR upon arrival who had done the same thing, 2 of which were from a party of 8 golfers who all did the same tests - therefore the Portuguese border control is not consistent. Just wanted to share for others to avoid the same mistake.

Worst experience. I have ordered an antigen test for travel, I have done all the steps correctly. However, my result was negative I took a photo of it, but in the certificate showed it’s positive. And my flight is tomorrow is at 7am and I cannot find another way to book it as it’s Sunday and everything is closed. Do t trust them

These guys made me to pay twice for my 2nd day test which I paid 96 pounds and it didnt reach home on time. SO I have to pay another 60 pounds to take my test. I have been waiting almost 4 weeks for my refund . No news from them. Please raise complaint with The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) who is legal authority to be aware of this Lab .

I ordered a 2-day PCR test for my return from Austria, which never arrived. Tried calling Randox, but after interminable messages, then innumerable options, eventually got cut-off without managing to talk to anyone. Sent messages via the website, & emails, without any reply. Eventually I went to my bank & got a refund that way. Customer service is terrible, a complete joke. Luckily UK regulations had changed, so a PCR test wasn’t required, but that doesn’t detract from the fact Randox let me down completely. Wouldn’t use them again.

Put test in at 16.00. Got reply at 08.20 next day. Terrific.

I used Randox at Belfast City Airport and was assured they would mark my daughter's PCR as urgent as we flew the next day. They sent us the result more than 48 hours later ( so the test had expired for the flight and we missed the flight too). When chasing this result, we spent over two hours listening to irritating, long-winded recorded messages reminding the public they do not tolerate abuse to their staff, I eventually got through. The women had no information about my test, no idea when we'd get it and no access to the lab to try and help us. Seriously Randox? Absolutely useless. Oh and no refund and no reply from them. Shocking service. Avoid using them at all costs.

We have used Randox numerous times over the past year for covid testing. Without exception they have been fantastic. Our most recent encounter was with the Crumlin staff doing the rapid pcr tests. Their customer service was outstanding & they went above & beyond. Our results were received well within the 3 hr time frame & as usual, the process was stress free. Thank you!!

Just soo useless.Took my test day 2 to their drop centre 3-Jan early morning. Today is 6-Jan. nothing from them. Have to stay at home all that time and can’t go to work. Kept chasing it. Assistants have no access to my test. After my second call assistant just hang up the call. So how long i have to stay at home now and what i paid for? Just avoid.

Day 2 test still waiting, still waiting over 30 hrs later, not getting paid from work. Took them an hour to answer the phone, They are pathetic

Useless. Impossible to return day 2 sample since they only use their own boxes which are miles away.

Day 2 PCR test, delivered within 48 hrs, results back within 24.

Landed in Bristol airport on Christmas Eve 2021, did the self test in the car and deposited the results at drop off box in Magor Services, South Wales.

Results back on Christmas Day! Thank you Randox, I am now free to go out of the house and hopefully not catch covid.

-1 star as there are just too many options on your site. A PCR test is a PCR test, why label and relabel everything, it confused the hell out of me. Your website could be simpler.

All that said, and despite the efficient service, I despise paying private companies for PCR tests to travel, quite why NHS tests are not sufficient is beyond me. If people pay, they should expect good service and there are plenty of disgruntled Randox customers on Trustpilot.

What a joke-totally disappointed with this company. Message them-no reply. Phoned them-cut off TWICE. One week on from dropping off the results at Heathrow-NOTHING...

We were able to book a last-minute PCR test at Standsted Airport, due to the change of country COVID guidelines. Their service was very effective, it is very convenient to get the test done at the airport when arriving (costly but more reliable than sending it through the post, I think). Received the results as per their SLA - next day results at about 1 p.m.
