Quick Backtracking Enterprise

With QBE, you have insurance until you need insurance.. My pensioner mother has been with them for years. She made a first minimal claim and they were quick to backtrack and use technical jargon so they didn’t have to pay.
She will be cancelling her policies and moving over to WFI, where I have never had any issues regarding claims.

Been with QBE Australia for over 7…

Been with QBE Australia for over 7 years for home and content insurance and never made a single claim. Just hit with a new premium for the new year with a $3000 hike in premium??? Wonder how they came up with this insane amount? I could get a brand new insurance with a higher coverage and a more reasonable premium. So much for being a loyal customer! QBE get your act together.

Unbelievable Service

QBE provides unbelievably negligent and incompetent service. For a claim that lasted 6 months on our roof, the claim adjustors kept delaying and ignoring the claim for no reason. We provided over 100 pictures over multiple time points which were ignored despite the adjustor asking for the pictures to be sent again and again. The adjustors just ignore the client almost to the point where no one knows if they still are reviewing the claim. Then weeks later another adjustor calls out-of-the-blue and has no knowledge of the details of the claim. The three adjustors we spoke to were work-from-home employees who could not describe the details of the claim and called the wrong roofing company on multiple occasions. They were incompetent, negligent and irresponsible. It’s a callus company full of employees who are there to simply delay and deny. No one should be using this company.

QBE seem to be fraudulently delaying payments

I'm a 77 year old pensioner whose car was written off on 25th september 2023 whilst parked by Procters coaches, a customer of QBE insurance. I've had to pay out of pocket expenses from my small pension which total £498.84 through no fault of mine, expenses which should be repaid to me by QBE. They have failed to do so, I need the money for Christmas presents and my heating bill. Why should I have to take legal action to recover this money when their customer is totally at fault and they should be paying out now.

Des voleurs!

Mon assurance propriétaire non occupant (assurance P.N.O.) est chez QBE Europe, société qui a des pratiques très malhonnêtes et qu’il faut fuir.
Un voisin a tenté une escroquerie à l’assurance en déclarant ma responsabilité engagée sur un sinistre où je n’y étais pour rien. L’expert de mon voisin m’ayant convoqué pour un constat, j’ai pris contact avec mon courtier et QBE a aussi missionné un expert pour me représenter.
Les conclusions du rapport de mon expert comme celui de l’expert de mon voisin sont très claires, en aucun cas, je n’ai une parcelle de responsabilité dans le sinistre que le voisin avait déclaré….
L’appel de prime qui a suivi cet évènement, je constate une hausse de mon assurance de plus de 50 % . Je cherche à comprendre et on m’explique que c’est la conséquence du sinistre que j’ai déclaré. J’indique que je n’ai jamais eu de sinistre, que l’expert leur a fait un rapport montrant que QBE avait failli être victime d’une escroquerie……
La réponse de QBE, à partir du moment où on a missionné un expert, on a eu un coût donc cela est comptabilisé comme un sinistre ! La hausse résulte de calculs réalisés par les actuaires pour que les contrats soient toujours bénéficiaires !
J’ai failli être actuaire et donc cette justification m’a d’autant plus énervée que la hausse de la cotisation annuelle est supérieure au coût de l’expertise !
Evidemment, j’ai reçu l’appel de prime de cette année trop tard pour changer d’assureur mais il est clair que je ne resterai pas chez un assureur qui confond client et pigeon !

Attention, ce type d’assurance visiblement connait sa justifiée mauvaise réputation et capte des clients en utilisant des courtiers comme rabatteurs, courtiers qui par défaut ne précisent pas l’assureur qu’il y a derrière le contrat qu’on signe avec eux. Exigez bien de votre courtier de vous préciser si l’assureur qu’il y a derrière lui est un assureur sérieux ou une entreprise comme QBE Europe.

The worst insurance ever

The worst insurance ever!
I have to renew my rego, so to renew also the green slip with qbe insurance. After trying for one week to pay online, nothing worked, I called twice the client service and nothing worked with them neither. I have to cancel my insurance with them because they made me totally upset, crazy and I lose my time for nothing. It was totally crazy and disrespectful.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Do not insure yourself with Qbe. There is no point. I’ve been a policy holder with QBE for several years, zero claims. The time I needed to make a claim, I provided all documentation photos/ video evidence, evidence of regular servicing on my machine, Mechanics supporting report. Three weeks later, on a machine I use every day for a small business. They are still playing games and would not approve the funding to be released for it to be repaired. I am canceling all policies I have with them. There was/ is no reason for claim to not be approved or the money to be released, if it wasn’t going to be they could have told me in the beginning however I have had to stop work for the last three weeks which I can’t afford to buy no choice because I need that machine. Do not insured with Qbe. Highly incompetent staff, what a joke.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU CAN

If 0 stars was an option thats what I would rate it.

Firstly when I reported my incident on a saturday night the agent told me that he could not log it on the system as it was down but he will pass it on to his colleague to get it logged on the monday.

On the monday I called to get an update, I was told my claim does not exist and that I would need to log it again from scratch which I did.

Each time I contacted QBE they provided me with a new reference number and each agent I spoke told me that another department has my claim which made me go round in circles from speaking from one department to another.

Eventually, when I did speak to the correct team I was told that FMG had confirmed to collect my vehicle. After it was collected on the friday I was informed by QBE that the recovery team will be dropping my car within a 30 mile of my home.

The elected garage phoned me and told me that they have been advised by QBE to collect my car and repair it. I told them that is not correct because FMG already collected it, she was confused but said no problem we will likely get the car on monday.

I spoke to an agent from QBE on Monday who told me that my car will be collected from the storage by Tuesday or Wednesday.

It is now wednesday of the 2nd week the repair garage have been telling me constantly that they are still waiting for the arrival of my car.

I spoke to the QBE agent for god knows how many times and they have told me that the car is still in the storage and will leave on thursday.

IS THIS A COMPLETE JOKE?!!!

I WISH ZEGO DELT WITH MY INSURANCE CLAIM DIRECTLY SO I DON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LYING BULLSH*T COMPANY.

Poor customer service

They asked me to chase a letter of acceptance for a 3rd party while it's the insurance job. It's a hassle to get an answer over the phone and they take ages to answer an email

DO NOT USE THEM

my hvac unit went out and i called a contractor out to see what the problem was, and they instructed me that it was struck by lighten. QBE adjuster sent out a hvac contractor who stated that it was my zoning board on a unit that has been discontinued. i called in my claim june 28 and its now aug 7 and we have had over 100-degree weather here in GA. i have called another contractor out and he said the same thing, insurance company just dont want to get me another unit. he stated the unit was discontinued and hard and expensive to find parts. i give them a ZERO, my son and i have been suffering for over 30 days and no one will do anything. if i get a hotel they will not pay for it. who treat humans like this...as of today it still has not been resolved. and i can't even get cooling units until resolved.

Absolute joke of an insurance company

This company is the insurer of the 3rd party that knocked over my motorbike.
However the problem is that his insurance company is declining to come and check out the damage done to my vehicle in order to assess it and agree to a pay out. My motorbike has been in the garage for over 2 months because these people do not even want to do their legal obligation and come assess the damage. Every day my motorbike is there, they have to pay more and they acquire cost that this company has to pay.

You're an absolute JOKE of an insurance company and a horrible business to deal with. Just assess the damage that my insurance is asking for (which again is your obligation) and pay for my gddamn damage.

Customer service is a joke right??

This companies customer service is a complete joke! I have been on hold for over 2 hours! because they have the green slips for registration in NSW, they seem to think they can treat you like second hand citizens!

I need them to resolve something with my green slip urgently before Service NSW closes otherwise I can't register my car for the weekend! Its ridiculous.

I will never use this company again and I will make sure everyone hears of their disgusting behavior, they obviously don't care the arrogant (lips bitten)! they have a one star rating so it says it all.

Hope that the driver that hits you isn’t insured by these dishonest people

I am owed money from Bionic Claims at QBE and have chased them for the past two weeks and have heard nothing! Absolutely appalling. It was a driver insured under them that went into the back of me making my car a total loss. They sent the cheque for my car to the wrong address! Then when I spoke to someone on the phone they assured me that they would cancel the cheque and send my payment via BACS as I no longer live in the UK. They said they would email me to let me know this has been done as I told them I had zero confidence in them and I was tired of chasing them. What a load of bull! Haven’t heard a thing and have been sending emails asking for an update. If a driver goes into the back of you pray that they aren’t insured by this company!

Reply: I’ve already filled out a customer complaints form and again….radio silence?!

Holstebro, Midtjylland, Danmark. Det er dumt at stole på ham. Han, i sit amatør arbejde, sørgede for at jeg var dobbelt forsikret i et år med min virksomhed i radiobranchen, trods det at det er ulovligt, og at det var hans ansvar at se til at jeg ikke var det. Det var aftalt at der skulle sørges for fra starten af at det ikke måtte ske. Han lovede at opsige oprindelig forsikring men gjorde intet. Senere i forløbet, erkendte han fejlen men alligevel nægtede at gøre noget ved det, samtalen fik jeg optaget på telefon, men intent kunne jeg gøre. Det kostede mig den nette sum af 17.000 kr, en væsentlig sum for mig, som forsikringsselskabet, eller ham selv, tjener stort på hvis det er sådan alle kunder bliver behandlet, usselt og miserabelt. De er sikkert bekendt med at det ikke kan betale sig med advokat osv fra kundens side for "små beløb" det har de naturligvis set, da de igen og igen nægtede at have taget penge for noget der var forsikret.
