Shocking
Shocking! My insurer assigned this ARC back in June, they have so far cancelled my booking for my repair 5 times!!! That's 5 times I've made alternative arrangements for them to come and collect the car and almost 4 months of driving my car around damaged. Lost all faith in the company! Avoid!!
AVOID AT ALL COST. Not a good experience with my Mercedes.
The day my car was due to be picked up, I had to call Pronto as it was after midday and I had waited in all morning. First call ..... was told "the guy is just leaving and should be with me in about an hour". Two hours later, I called again, and was told "hes just leaving and will be with you in about an hour".
Three weeks later, my car hire people are told the repair has been done and we are just awaiting cleaning the car. ( enterprise called me to tell me ). Three days later Pronto call me to say the car was ready but just awaiting a clean... when asked what they had been doing, as the told enterprise Car hire the same 3 days ago. Just said oh we've been very busy.
Finally got back the car after several calls. Very poor fitting of the rear bumper and light fitting . Shut lines were out and the light cluster not flush to the body work. Awaiting a call back from Pronto to see what they are going to do.
UPDATE... well 7 weeks later, still awaiting a call from pronto. Spoken with the motor repair network who placed my car with Pronto, several times and they have asked the garage to contact me 3 times. Spoken to the insurance company and they have requested several times for the garage to contact me to sort out the bodged repair.
Now, also spoke with Motability and still awaiting an update... as of the 14 November 2023.
Well here we are in the new year 23 Jan 2024... Car STILL NOT SORTED.
One Star is way too much for Pronto.
Absolute superstar was Liam Palmer who…
Absolute superstar was Liam Palmer who went above and beyond to help me out and provide a personal service of keeping me updated and generally providing an excellent service. Downside is the length of time it takes for repair, my car went in early June and was ready on the 19th September
Had a car accident back in July
Had a car accident back in July, the 21st to be precise. Now due to this pathetically run world, my car was due to be collected TODAY for repair, that is 69(yes I know) days since the accident. Well this morning Pronto from Grantham called me and told me my car will be collected on the 19th October for repair and they will have it for approximately 2 weeks, didn't realise there was so much UNSEEN DAMAGE(LOL), I made impact in a SUV on a Mini, as she decided to turn right in front of my path. 90 days after my accident they will be collecting my car for repair, so for 90 days I have been left without a Motability car, which I need. Yet these same self *ankers want me to pay not only my monthly charge but also an excess for repair. Now awaiting the RAC to come out and do an inspection to give the go ahead for vehicle to be driven until (LOL) PRONTO come and get it.
Pronto are an absolute bunch of…
Pronto are an absolute bunch of cowboys. There repairs are substandard and when you complain about the standard of service, they denied any wrong doing! Their communication skills are just as bad as the workmanship carried out, don't bother trying to call them as they never pick up. AVOID AT ALL COST. COMPLETE COWBOYS!!!!
Had my car to repair bumper
Had my car to repair bumper, result was awful and had to send car back.
Independent assessor advised them to take bumper off and refit. They blatantly lied to me and said assessor said repair was fine for the year of car.
Now having to take car to be rectified from their shoddy work.
Good service
Good service, excellent work. Kept me informed and delivered my car back to Yorkshire and thanks also for valeting the car which is over and above what needed to be done. Many thanks, however i hope i wont have to use your services again, but i would recommend you.
Many thanks
I am waiting for my car to be returned
I am waiting for my car to be returned, It took months to get it to you and now it is parked with you. Six days, and you have tested the wheel alignment! This is a simple paint job after damage caused by clipping another car at one mile p.h. I am told that the 'reason' that nothing else has been done is that you have eighty plus cars there waiting to be sen, What are you doing? Is this the most expensive car park in the world? If I could award you minus five stars, I would - liaison is awful , phones cut off, and the staff don't know anything. In the meantime ... I wait.
Although the damage had been corrected…
Although the damage had been corrected to a high standard, my car came back to me in a not good state on the inside, it was really dirty, one mark i’m unable to get out! Definitely no valet for me! I emailed them with pictures and still 2 weeks later has not had any response! Really disappointing.
Shaun Kerr was amazing
Shaun Kerr was amazing, excellent customer service and a credit to your company.
I had 3 months of waiting for car to be repaired with excuses each time that courtesy car was in accidents. I complained and Shaun kept me up to date every day and even delivered my car back to me. Amazing chap, thank you Shaun, you will go far!
1st class repair on my Tesla
Fantastic job done on my Tesla, panel work 100% and paint work outstanding can’t even tell where the damage was.Car was returned with a valet too, like to say a big thanks to Niall and his team for 1st class repair
Impressive work by Pronto
This would have been a 5 star review if it hadn't taken almost 7 weeks to return my car. The finish is first rate, every panel down the drivers side was damaged and now you wouldn't know its been in an accident. Thank you Pronto
Not sure what you have to do to get…
Not sure what you have to do to get these people to get back to you to get a repair done. Ive been waiting since the beginning of May!! Pronto, do they know what that means? NO
Absolutely terrible!
Absolutely terrible!
i left my car to have minimal work done in 7/07/23. I was told it would take up to 3 weeks but no more.
Four weeks, many phone calls later with promises of it being completed soon and updates that never happen its still there! I had the audacity to complain politely today and had the phone put down on me.
I am being nagged by the Car Hire Company and completely disgusted with this Company.
Pronto they certainly arent!
Car failed MOT due to headlight not…
Car failed MOT due to headlight not aligned correctly after bodywork.
Various items left unsecured.
Job spoilt by lack of quality control.
Also a small job took over 2 weeks.
Hopelessly inept company.
Well, where to start... having glanced at the other dissatisfied customers' feedback, I see several common threads. First be aware this report covers their performance from 15th March to 24th July (count those months!!!)
1) Communication - buy an answer-machine! If you can't be bothered to answer your customers, filtering our calls through head office, which took over an hour's wait for each and every one of the 8 or 9 times I tried, use a machine and THEN GET BACK TO THE CUSTOMER LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD!! ( And yes, I am 'shouting' because despite repeated conversations with the Manager, you have not improved over the 4 and a half months you took to fix my car!!!)
2) Don't lie to your customers - being told 'it'll be ready by the end of the week, early next week latest' for 5 weeks running wears a little thin. Equally, being told I'd be called when it was ready became a farce of 'zero communication'. Being told 'Well, we sent you a text' is not adequate communication. Especially when no text was sent. The one time you did finally call, after your failure to fix it in time resulted in huge costs for another car to take us on holiday, you blathered on at me about 'collecting it tomorrow'. When I could finally get a word in edgewise, I explained we were in France and you sounded surprised. Try listening to your customers.
3) PDI - if you didn't know, it's a motor industry term meaning Pre Delivery Inspection. Somebody at your company needs to go round the vehicle and check that it is in a satisfactory condition.
Your first attempt at repairing the accident damage to my car - you completely missed the accident damage to the sill, directly beneath the door you had repaired (badly, as it turned out), where the paint was chipped, and none of the panels were aligned. You appear to have just hung the wing on the car and accepted the rubbish shut lines on all sides, above below and the ends.
2nd attempt, I pulled up at your premises in a friend's car to see a bodge job on the front bumper/valence that one could see from 40 feet away. When I asked you about it, you wriggled and tried to say you couldn't see the blemish, but on further examination I found that someone had hit the front nearside of said valence anyway, deeply scoring the front fibreglass and popping the nearside joint out of the nearside wing. You said it must have happened that day. Ok, but who checked the car just before my scheduled and agreed arrival? My mate, who brought me to your premises, is a professional bodywork man. In his professional opinion, you had plastic welded the front valence back together and then slapped some filler in and sprayed it over (badly).
The 3rd time, yesterday, I turned up again and you didn't even bother to take me out to the car, just asking if I'd looked it over. I had, and was happy with it externally. It seems fine. I was kind of curious as to why someone had left a sheet of 1500 wet&dry paper jammed between the driver's door and the A-post bottom hinge, though
4) Time - I have mentioned it took 4 and a half months to fix my car. It was a relatively light impact strike on the front offside, where the chap slid into me on ice. New door-skin, new wing, (should have been) new valence and a bit of bonnet and inner wing straightening and then spray. I appreciate parts are taking a while but 4 and a half months (and 2 attempts to hand over an unfinished job)! Really?
A thoroughly unimpressive performance from beginning to end. Trustpilot only allows me to give a minimum of 1 Stars...
A few hiccups along the way with time…
A few hiccups along the way with time scale and update of work but all staff were polite and understanding .brilliant repair job well done
Very pleased!
Kyran Johnson have provided a really good customer service and explained everything in very detail. Really pleased with a result fixed by Pronto. Thanks guys!
Total lack of communication.
They had my van for 6 weeks and despite me e mailing them for progress and calling they never got back to me. They did misinform me a couple of times ( or lie? ) during this time about progress. When I came to collect after being told it was ready and after having to go through their stupid payment system and collecting the key I found a hazard warning light meaning the van had not been commissioned correctly. Still awaiting a reply from them after a week about their next step. Do they ever monitor or reply to their e mail address?
Unprofessional in every way
Shocking service , assistant manager virtually called me a liar , car not touched at all after being told to leave car with them at 9am and collect at 5 pm the next day , removed the car from their premises , complained to my insurance company , booked in at a different repairers. I have 50 years motor trade management experience and advise that people should avoid this business at all costs
