Avoid.

5 weeks they had my car to repair a dent as big as my thumbnail. Never let me know when it was done...I had to keep calling. Car was absolutely filthy on pick up and I have the photos!! Door trim not fitted properly so had to go back.
Would never go there again.

When pronto car repair first got intouch with me it was first class service from start to finish I was kept informed with every staged of the proceedings . I must say Michael did a first class job would highly recommend him .

The team at pronto are great

The team at pronto are great!
My insurers failed to complete my hire car booking and the team rang the insurers and hire car company on my behalf to see what had happened. Once it was resolved pronto found me the next available booking within 2 weeks during the christmas period! Rob made sure that everything went smoothly this time. He chased the insurers and hire car and made sure i had transport to the hire car when they failed to deliver it to the garage. I was kept informed on the phone with regular updates on my repairs and when parts were delivered. My car was as good as new when it was returned to me within a week and Rob took care of returning the hire car for me. I am so grateful that it has all been resolved.

Bunch of clowns

This company is absolutely pathetic, if you choose these to repair your car be prepared for a long wait, no matter how many times you call them you’ll be wasting your breath, what a load of clowns

Avoid at all costs!!
Pronto - an ironic name to give a company that took in total half a year to get my car repaired!! At one point they even called me to book my car in for collection/repair when my car was already on their premises!!
When I collected my car, they hadn’t completed all their repairs, so had to have it back - another lengthy wait.
Finally, when all the repairs were completed, upon collection I noticed that a major crack had appeared in my window screen, which wasn’t there prior.
Also, the repair work is substandard. In my experience, because there was no monetary gain in them repairing it due to it still being under warranty, they claimed that the peeling and flaking of the paintwork wasn’t down to them, declaring that ‘they can tell because they have been in the field for 15 years’.
If you can go elsewhere, I advise you strongly to do so.

Utter tosspots.
Unfortunately my insurance want to use them but I'm refusing after reading so many diabolical reviews.
They want so much info for a small dent on one door it's ridiculous.
Vin number, mileage photo taken of the dash with the key visible, bloody photos of the entire car.
When asked why they reckon they need to value my car... it's 7 months old from new, 6k on the clock and immaculate bar said dent.
Utter over kill and stupidity.
I'll live with the dent and have told the insurance company to cancel said claim!!

Have been trying to resolve an issue…

Have been trying to resolve an issue with a supposed repair since November, they rarely respond to emails and have been avoiding taking any responsibility for causing further damage to my car. Avoid at all costs!!!

Less than one star is more accurate.

If I could have given less than one star I would have!
We have had the misfortune of having our car in the care of Pronto from July till today, due to our insurance company selecting them for our repairs. Throughout this prolonged period there has been terrible service with inaccurate/false information exchange, and management structure that seems incapable/uninterested in supporting their staff to provide an honest dialogue with customers. The car was finally collected today and it is filthy and not usable due to the key fob not locking. This was not an issue when we left it with them. Seriously avoid if you can would be my advice, as this has honestly been so stressful. We have raised a complaint with them, but have had no response at all and their manager was refusing any verbal dialogue to discuss when we requested this. Our insurance company have been informed and hopefully will use a more customer focused company moving forward.

Avoid this place if possible

I would not recommend this place to repair any vehicle, they had my vehicle for over month and failed to even get through the quotation process. You try to contact them and they lie about what the problem is. I am now taking the vehicle elsewhere hopefully somewhere more organised

Complete & utter incompetence

My car went in 25/1/23 after accident came back 24/3/23 repair not compleat damage to rear wheel not compleated,& a new 2in crack on windowscreen & filthy dirty sent straight back to pronto.brought back to us on 17/5/23 compleate overspray of paint onbonnet,windowscreen & whole side of driver & passanger doors &windows not to mention the 12 inch crack right across windowscreen both of which they denied

Awful company

Awful company. I've been chasing for over three months to get a repair quote for my Tesla, they clearly don't want my business. I've been in to get photographs taken on two occasions. Emailed by their estimator, more photos sent over email, then after chasing and another month passes nothing.

A bunch of liars

A bunch of liars. Every time I was told my vehicle would be ready it wasn’t. Each time they had a different excuse for why it wasn’t quite finished, then when they finally told me it was ready I went to pick it up and they had painted the damaged door the wrong colour

Their 'repairs' last even less time than Liz Truss

My car went into Pronto in Alconbury on an insurance claim after a relatively minor crash. It took them over two months to replace the bumper and front wing panel, and this was only after I'd started phoning them weekly to check on progress. I eventually got my car back with looked like they'd repaired it to a reasonable standard.

Unfortunately less than 7 weeks later, one of the panels came loose on a dual carrageway, leading me to be stood in the road, frantically tying it roughly in place enough to not fly off and hit someones windscreen while dodging 70mph traffic.

The only thing that these jokers are capable of is consistency - they've got bad customer service, they work at an awfully slow pace, and their repairs are terrible.

Next time I'll have to look for somewhere that can repair my car with a lettuce - it'll probably last longer than whatever these clowns used...

Avoid Pronto, Norwich.

After my wife had a collision on 5th October I contacted the insurance company. The following Monday I was informed that there repairer Pronto will do the job. After contacting them was informed that I lived outside the post code area. They are in NR4, myself in NR16. After phoning the insurance company then Pronto it transpired that they had too much work on. Eventually told that I would have to find another garage which I did on the 12th October. As of today still waiting for my car but the work is in progress

After a recent incident my insurer…

After a recent incident my insurer referred me to Pronto Accident Repair Centre in Bourne Lincolnshire as the preferred repairer. From initial contact via telephone to visiting the centre to having the vehicle assessed, the service I have received has been second to none. The Centre’s Manager; James Hammond kept me updated throughout the whole repair process. A courtesy car was provided at the earliest opportunity and the repair carried out within two weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pronto Accident Repair Centre and in particular the Bourne branch. I would like to thank James Hammond for his assistance throughout.

Not so Pronto

Took my car to Pronto on 22nd August 2023 for some pretty minor front end damage (caused by a reversing truck). The estimated time for repair was 10-14 days. I collected my car yesterday 19th October 2023 - a total of 8 weeks and 3 days. Pronto were chosen by my insurance company and I am pretty sure that had it not been for their intervention I would still be waiting for my car.
As other posts have said the amount of wrong information given is staggering. I was told on 30th August that my car was going through quality control and I would have it back by the end of that week or early the following week. I phoned on 4th September to be told that they were waiting for 3 parts - so not going through quality control. This is just one example of the misinformation given - there are many more. I had made it clear that the car needed to be back in my possession before 7th September when it was booked in. Fast forward over the next 6 weeks - constantly being told one thing and then being told another issue had been discovered. Delays because they were waiting for the insurance company to authorise new parts ordering - this was particularly annoying given that it took a week for them to even request authorisation. My insurance company got involved and even they were given different information to the information given to me minutes before. Even this week there was misinformation - my insurance company were told on 13th October that the final missing part had been delivered on Wednesday (11th October) this was at 10.00, by 15.44 Shaun phoned and said the part was arriving on Monday (16th October). Monday afternoon the part had still not arrived, it finally materialised on Tuesday. I appreciate that there are issues with parts deivery but Rob admitted to me that they had taken on a lot of extra work and new staff who tell customers what they think we want to hear. To be fair Shaun did make an effort to keep me updated.
The whole debacle has been extremely disappointing and depressing. Just as an aside yesterday when I went to collect my car it was parked in the car park. My husband and I were looking at the repair and an employee was quite happy to assume that it was my car. At no point was I asked to confirm my identity. I literally could have been anyone and even when we went into the office to sign paperwork I was not asked for my name. A form was produced which required my signature which I could have signed illegibly and then driven off in a car which did not belong to me!

Terrible customer service! Avoid if you can

My daughters car was taken to Pronto (oxymoron maybe?) what feels like months ago - no wait, it was! For a repair after being in a collision. Fully appreciate some delays due to parts, paint, and the other various reasons we were told whilst waiting, and finally the day came to collect it (today). We had to pay the insurance excess - which is fine, but what was not fine was the behaviour of the individual serving - no wait there was no service, the individual taking the money, and her sidekick .We were instructed that we would be sent a link after providing a phone number, and then follow the link for payment. When we asked what does that mean, as we have not used this before, does that mean pay now? The sidekick was extremely blunt and rude with his response and said "Yeah" if you don't you're not taking it". This was after stating that we were there to pay it. A little bit of manners, and a little bit of customer service goes a long way - after all, we were spending a little bit more than buying a cup of coffee, and you generally get treated far better in a coffee shop! Perhaps Pronto could invest in a little bit of customer service with their staff as generally, common courtesy and manners go a long way.

Rhys Lawlor recently looked after one of company fleet Vans that was in for accident work. The service through the whole process was spot on and kept me fully up to date with the progress. he even arranged for the car to be delivered back to us in Essex at a reasonable cost.
