Rude and unhelpful

Simply the most incompetent, rude and uncommuncative company I have had the misfortune to be lumbered with.

My Insurance company made me use them, after 6 weeks I have had no updates and when asking for a reason they hung up the phone. Still do not have my car.

If you can avoid them I would - I suspect they are too big to care about customers as they just get work from insurance compnaies

After 7 months of my Tesla being in the garage, I finally got it back. I was told there were long lead times getting parts and only Tesla trained technicians can do the repairs. I had to continuously call for an update as no one ever rings. I get told time and time again that someone will ring back for an update but they never do. It got to the point where I had to escalate my complaint to head quarters advising them of the poor communication between them and myself. Robert then took over and updated me on a weekly basis which I greatly appreciated but it’s a shame this only happened because I put a complaint in (this should be done as standard)

Robert then went on annual leave and the problems continued. I was handed to the branch manager and he advised me the car would be ready on Wednesday 26th and would call me in the morning to arrange a time for collection. I paused all plans and waited until 1:30pm Wednesday when I had to once again chase for an update in which he advised me he was very busy that day. He then stated the car would be ready around 4:30pm which I clarified if definite and he confirmed so waited. I then got a call to say it wasn’t going to be ready today as it had to be cleaned again. I told the guy I’m happy to just take the car as it is because I knew it already had a valet 2 days before but he insisted they can’t hand it over until they are satisfied.

Unfortunately, they are not aware that the Tesla app even on service mode can show the location of my vehicle and at 4pm they drove it to Tesla for a service in which I got an email stating what was being done. Ultimately I was lied to saying it just needed a clean where in fact, there was more work needed.

I am extremely angry not because my car has taken 7 months for repair, but more because I constantly had to call Pronto for updates, the false promises when time and time again they would ‘call me back’ but never do and worse of all, lying to me which I find disgraceful and unacceptable and to this day, I am still waiting for outstanding works to be completed as there were paint spray marks on my back seat door liners and a scratched wheel cap. As usual, I have chased for an update and I am still waiting.

Pronto may think it’s just another repair but it’s a £42,000 car which I worked hard for and the stress this has caused me shouldn’t happen. I will also make sure my insurance provider are aware of my experience as Pronto are their panel repair centres and I would suggest they reconsider this!

Good job

All the staff were very helpful, Kyran (I hope I didn't spell his name wrong) is a credit to your company, he was very patient and helpful whenever contacted. The car looks great! The repair team have done an amazing job on my car. The only thing I could say wrong about the place was how long it took to repair the car but the work and customer service makes up for that.

Answering the phone and calling back…

Answering the phone and calling back when you say you will would be a help - that and not hanging up once you do make it to 1

No idea on standard for repairs yet as after a week for a little dent and scrape still heard nothing

Staff were very courteous everytime I…

Staff were very courteous everytime I spoke them, they did a fantastic job of making my car look look perfect again. My only bug bear is that they failed to replace my jack point covers and when I contacted them they no longer had them so I am having to find replacements and pay for them which is proving very difficult as my car is a limited edition.

Expect to wait months for repairs

Never experienced anything quite like the service and delays at this garage! They were supposed to fix my car after an accident and didn’t! So booked back in and still waiting for months for it to be repaired for parts with no hire car provided! Terrible!

The most appalling service!

At this point, I still haven’t received my car back!

Lose of earnings Saturday 29th April, Saturday 6th May. 8 phone call (dates to follow if required)

Sat 29th April.- visited branch due to no relies to previous messages and Was told I would receive a phone call Tuesday to arrange transfer of car. This was added to the diary!
Thurs- received call from yourself- was informed -tried to call the previous day (you later admitted this to be false)
Arranged to collect car on sat 6th may.
Sat 6th may- collection of car was halted due to unclean, unchecked car (photos to follow if required). My annoyance was made very clear and a call was required from yourself and Niall (manager) on Tuesday morning.
No call received Tuesday.
I called and spoke to Rian at 4:55pm on Tuesday, who informed me both Naill and Shaun were informed of my call and would received a call the following morning.
No call received! Yet again I had to contact yourselves (Wednesday 10th) and was informed (again) both had been done at this point.
Upon cleaning the car I was then let down again the following week- due to ‘unchecked’ seat clips found to be Broken.

Monday 15th may- delivery of car arranged. Upon receiving the car- it was clean but still damaged and missing parts. The car was returned.

I was asked to discuss what compensation I would require to resolve all of this- this was forwarded- but have received no correspondence and still no information regarding yet more repairs and completion of work.

7months and counting!!!!!!!!

Continuation of previous review: having been told that they never touched my horn when repairing my vehicle, just had fone call from insurance company they’ve viewed pictures and found horn not been done even though it was part of repair 😂😂😂 told you so but wouldn’t believe me. If your insurance company tell you they gonna fix your car tell them you’ll take it somewhere else!!!

Good customer service from Pronto

Dealt with Rhys who provided me with accurate honest information on the progress of my repair. Particularly helpful with assisting me with arrangements on the vehicle exchange from the car rental company.

Go in with your eyes open that they are not the quickest repairers!

My car was involved in a collision and needed a front end rebuild, largely cosmetic. While the car was in the centre I asked for additional work by way of a bumper respray.
The negatives were that the car was with them for a very long time from November to January. Parts issues were cited but having gone to HONDA and spoke to them the parts, in their opinion would have been available. I make no judgement on this information. The car had a dent in the wing upon going in to the body shop which I had expected to get repaired under the insurance. when the car was eventually returned it had stock bumper replacement and not the AERO pack which the vehicle had originally. The dent in the wing had not been fixed. I was not happy with this. I went through my insurance company and their engineer/assessor liaised with Pronto and two weeks later the car was in for the remedial work, which took a further week.
On the positive side. The front office staff were as helpful as the could be under the circumstances. The Bumper respray looks really good (But was expensive) and the dent cannot be seen now. The work was of a good standard but just took a long time to get resolved. Personally, I would look elsewhere first but would use them again at a push.

Still.waiting for pronto to contact me re my repair

My insurance company told me almost 6 weeks ago that Pronto will be dealing with my repair & will contact me. Same day I received a mobile message asking for photos, which I sent to Pronto & got confirmation of them received. Since then absolutely nothing. They are uncontactable, phoned loads of times, the phone rings, goes into a cue then cuts off. Did manage to leave a msg but nobody returned my call. The name Pronto (meaning speedy) is a joke. Even my insurance company couldn't get through to them. Still waiting!

TERRIBLE SERVICE

If I could 0 stars I would. Although I was unable to have a courtesy car (need hand controls), the company did nothing to speed up the time taken to repair my vehicle. They took over 3 weeks to put a plastic bumper on the front of the car (nothing else wrong with it). Did not answer the phone when I rang for updates, did not ring me back when I left a message.

Very Not impressed

Not impressed. My car was stolen and then involved in a police chase. Car was recovered on Monday and taken to Cossall. Pronto were informed on Tuesday and asked to recover and assess. Friday, not recovered or assessed. Claim it is to do with paperwork, what paperwork? Don't answer the phones, obfuscation on a serious level. Look it up. We are a one car family, seriously out of pocked and inconvenienced.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! My car has been in this godforsaken shitehole for 6 weeks . Trying to contact them to find out when I may get my car back is laughable. Went thru my insurance to get answers, but even they are being fobbed off with B.S. my car according to them has been in process of being washed and polished for over a week? Still no definite date when getting car back. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

As per previous reviews... run a mile!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I’ve never experienced such a shambles with a business. That business being Pronto Accident Repair Centre!! After having my car since November and saying they expect the car to be back before Christmas, after numerous calls to chase they finally bought my vehicle back after it had passed quality control at the end of Feb. Baring in mind this is a BMW approved repairer and I was told it would be repaired back to manufacturer standards and you would never know it’s had a repair done! This is how it was brought back to me after being ’quality controlled’! This was at the end of February and because this is now classed as repaired by the insurer my courtesy car was then taken off me and it was down to the garage to pay for the courtesy car. They refused but said they would give one of there’s…. It seemed I have no choice but they said that it should be back by the Friday so only a couple of days away! After waiting in because I was told it would be back first thing Friday, I phone them at lunchtime to be told sorry someone should of called yesterday as ‘short staffed’ in the office but would be back first thing Saturday morning! I wait in surprise, suprise…no one comes, I call and someone answers puts me through to be told he’s the only one in the office so won’t be back today even though someone answered first but would be back first thing Monday morning. I wait in and you can guess lunchtime comes no one turns up… I call and finally told the truth that they are waiting for parts 🤬🤬 they did however say they have chased the part it should be here that day or next. Ofcourse nothing and I’ve never once had a call from pronto to update me! I call again last week to ask what is happening now! They said they have chased again, and should be here Friday last week or Monday (yesterday) obviously nothing. I call today and now they just don’t answer! The car they have given is a tiny little car which when the car seat is in the back you can only get a very small person in the front (not me 🤣🤣) the seat has to go all the way forward! In addition no dogs are allowed in courtesy vehicles and I now have an excess of £1000 if I have an accident instead of the previous car which was nothing and if I get a fine they will charge me £96 admin fee! So I’m way worse off and baring in mind this was a non fault claim! Anyway it seems that the insurers say there’s nothing they can do and don’t care, the garage don’t care and I’m still no closer or no idea when we will get our car back!! All I would say avoid at all costs as you wont get your car back or repaired properly and will simply have no hair left (I didn’t have much before as it was)!!
