Back in April person open there door…
Back in April person open there door while driving by. Insurance provided me with pronto after two weeks waiting they collected my car from Ilkeston to Grantham. After two weeks the car back. Repaired looked great but it came back with more problems no rear indicator working. Took my car into get serviced and checked the light unit as been broken and cables been trapped where they replace the plastic trim around the wheel. This was 6 weeks ago. Still no reply
Easy Brilliant
Spoke to a member of staff today 21/6 called Michael. That man is brilliant, we spoke to him regarding an issue that happened 18 months ago, gave our details, looked us up and was amazed with his help. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would. Brilliant Thankyou so much. Can not say enough. (Bet you get some stick). Thankyou again Paul &Elaine.
COWBOYS!!! AVOID!!!
My prev car went into thus shabby garage after an accident back in march 2022. They kept it for 8mths and it was brought back to me with more faults than it went in with!
Fast forward to Jan this Yr...
Another accident in a different car. Went into garage in Feb. Nothing major but did have problems with grill after accident. Thry told me it would be repaired and returned by April but were now in June and still no date of when I will get it back! Thry have been calling the past 4 wks telling me they are waiting on coolant etc but should be ready by end of week! Full of excuses! Toild them to just call me when it's ready!!
If it wasn't for direct line using these for us disability customers, obv I wouldn't use them! Get a grip d.l and ditch these cowboys!!!

Not even worth one star. Stay away. If your insurer wants to send your car here, do not authorise it. Have had car 2 months and done nothing. Now refusing to release car to a different garage. Frequent lies when asked for updates. Between them and repair network, FMG, it’s a complete shambles. No accountability, no customer service, no communication, no initiative, difficult to get in contact with, no urgency, very little professionalism.

I don't usually do reviews for anything but thought I would make a special effort this time.
I have to agree with the previous comments, these guys are total tossers and cowboys. Unfortunately I did not have a choice of repairers as my mobility car is insured with direct line and had to go to the Peterborough branch of Prontoarc. Why such a huge,well known insurance company like direct line would appoint Prontoarc as their approved repairers beats me. Since my car was damaged at the beginning of Sept 2023 they have had it for between 3 1/2 and 4 months in total trying to resolve a problem which started after they fitted a new door. Their unprofessional conduct, shoddy workmanship and lack of quality control is totally unacceptable and as for excuses, well I've never heard so many. If I could give them -500 🌟 then that would be more appropriate.

Incomplete work, poor quality processes, broken promises
My car had a minor paint issue to be corrected under warranty. Job was originally sent to Pronto in December, but was rebooked 3x times due to unavailability of loan cars. By March, I’d relented and went without else I felt it’d never get done.
On collecting the car, the work was incomplete and of poor quality. It was re-booked a second time and again, on collection, it still wasn’t right. On each occasion their team members agreed with me there were issues (i.e. this isn’t me being ‘too picky’). I’m not taking it back to them again as I’ve completely lost faith.
On each visit, I’d speak to team members who’d promise ‘they’ll take ownership’, ‘they’re the person to get this sorted for me’, ‘I’ll make sure it’s properly checked next time’ but, despite these promises, I had to chase at every stage and the work was consistently poor and incomplete.

Avoid this garage at all costs! Had our vehicle for over 12 weeks which all consisted of lies saying different days, weeks and times to collect from multiple staff (all of which having not clue) after repairing it (which is a joke in itself). Then fast forward to collect the car after the 12 weeks to then hear a rattle in the engine which the garage staff stated it was a loose piece of plastic and then told me to be on my way. Then to be driving home and the rattle/ judder to start again and the engine to then cut out and breakdown on a main roundabout and the engine to then not start again at all and making a foul smell putting me and other road users in great danger. Not even sure how this garage is allowed to operate!

My car was hit by another driver so my insurance company booked me in with pronto kings Lynn. They took over 9 months to repair my car so my MOT ran out. They agreed to get it MOT’d free of charge as an apology then denied that they agreed this and tried to overcharge me for a MOT. They even said they don’t do them so they had to get another garage to do it and wouldn’t put me in touch with them to pay them directly. I said I’d just book it in my local garage and they refused to release my car, holding me to ransom! This left me with no choice but to be ripped off. Subsequently I found they didn’t use official Mercedes parts, the rails to my sunroof damaged so it won’t work any more and a slow coolant leak (I honestly believe they deliberately damaged my car because I complained to the insurance company and them about the terrible service). I advise anyone to avoid using this company at all costs. A genuinely terrible service.

Had a small ding in my door, nothing major as I was hit by a car reversing at about 2mph.
When the car went in the repair was scheduled to take about 10 days....
It kept getting delayed, there was no contact from Pronto about the progress and after I rang they would say "it's nearly ready it will be finished on X day", X day comes and no car or contact, ring again and "it just needs a little finishing and it will be ready on Y day" Y day comes and goes, no car or contact, ring again and so it continued.
9 weeks later and I finally get my car back, the quality of the repair work is good though.
In summary.... quality of work is good, time taken to repair was very poor and the customer care was next to non-existent.

My experience with Pronto in Bourne…
My experience with Pronto in Bourne has been brilliant. From the moment the collected my car from home after a neighbour crashed into me as an accident.
Up. Until the day they returned the car back to my door step they went beyond my expectations with the repairs and customer service.
I cannot recommend this business enough for your vehicle repairs.

What went right?
I have honest to god never in my life seen such a mess of a branch please keep in mind this vehicle is motability so should be treated as high importance with a quick turnaround, please also keep in mind that they state on their website that all claims to be processed in 10 days or less and that they repair in short time frames. First of all my vehicle got reported as damaged on the 17th January and it took them till the 29th to collect it, by the 29th they had estimates drawn up and waiting for approval so as you’d expect with any place that has customer service I thought they would call me and update me but turns out I was wrong to assume this. A number of days go past and I call them on the 12th February to be told all the parts are in and it will be in the garage for atleast a month and then a number of weeks for repair. I complained instantly to my insurer who put me through to a gentleman beginning with E at the garage(can’t name names) and he stated he couldn’t understand why this was told to me and that it will be done by the first weekend of March as actually not all parts are in but they’re expected to be by the 19th. I call on the 21st Feb as I hadn’t been called (shock) for an update and it turns out this part still hasn’t arrived and that she will call me later on. Gets to late lunch on this day and I had heard nothing so I call them myself and get through to the same lady (begins with S) and get told the parts now in and that she can’t guarantee a completed date so I make her aware of what E said to me. Call them up the next day and there’s no change as I get through to the same lady. I give them over the weekend and call on the 26th and get told it won’t be completed this week and that they can’t give an estimate completion date so I raised a complaint with my insurer, who couldn’t even get through to the centre so they raised a complaint to the ANC. ANC are investigating and I’ve still not been provided an update by the garage. As you can see it’s quite clearly over the 8 days and hasn’t been a short turn around. AVOID.

Pronto Norwich told us the car would only take 2-3 days and could do it quickly if we could bring it in and do without a courtesy car. We agreed. It took eight business days to complete what was a couple of scratches/marks on one panel. Their communication was appalling, never returning calls when promised. If we ever need to use a body shop repair company again it won't be them.

Slightly protracted, but end result top notch
My repair tools months rather than weeks, but I was advised that the parts that were required were on long back order, right at the beginning and a curtesy car was provided throughout so just the reality of supply chains post Brexit/Covid!
Ultimately the quality of both the bodywork and mechanical repair were excellent. A minor electronic with parking sensors was resolved speedily, accompanied by an apology. All in all, they deserve a 5 star

Pronto norwich have had my car in for 2 dents driver side to be repaired. Came to collect to find paintwork still needed polishing in places, driver side door window seal was not refitted properly to which I was told its because it was old when clearly when looked at passanger side the assembly was not put back right, nothing to do with being old. Took car away to hear a massive Grinding noise from front wheel liner and a full blown puncture in rear tyre. Car had a leaky valve in driver rear which new about yet when I was phoned was told I had a puncture in tyre and If i wanted replaced. Back to the arch liner well when looked under car to find it had not been fitted back and bolts missing to then look in the rear tyre to find one of the liner bolts embedded In my tyre!!! No wonder they couldnt refitt the liner properly as 1 of the bolts where in my tyre. Not impressed to say the least and will update on how this gets rectified. Take my car in for repair of 2 dents and comes out with arch liner not fitted and rubbing on my wheel causing damage and 1 of the bolts embedded in the tyre aswell as door seal not how it was when they recieved it . And then to top it off my adaptive headlights which where meant to be adjusted after re fit ,driver side is sitting facing the sky, shocking
