AVOID THIS RUBBISH COMPANY... PURE JUNK!!

Purchased the pro2000 treadmill in August 2023 & platform board broke by September 2023, literally cracked full length of the treadmill. Contacted customer service as soon as this happened & by 14th November 2023 after chasing up numerous calls & emails the most we have heard from them is they are waiting on the part coming. Almost 12 weeks of waiting, we are waiting no longer & demanding a full refund as product is not fit for purpose. To be totally honest PROFORM FITNESS AS A COMPANY IS AN UTTER DISGRACE, from looking at their shocking reviews online on numerous places I wish I would of spent my 2k wiser on a better brand of company with actual customer services who care about their products & brand & sure as hell seems I aint alone with this!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, after months of going back and forth and multiple technicians coming and diagnosing that i need 12 parts changed on a brand new treadmill, they finally said the would check with the returns departments to see if i could get the loud clangy treadmill replaced under the 12 month warranty that will expire very soon. Then they tell me that they can’t authorize the return after hours and hours on hold and no reply to emails after weeks of waiting and tell me that i need to go through a 3rd party to get my return authorized?? They give me the phone number “ 435-786-4624“ and guess what? that number leads to nowhere! it just rings and rings and rings.

I called the store that is waiting for the return authorization approval from proform so they can process my replacement and told me that in 30 years they have never heard of a third-party authorization. Very tired of getting the runaround will keep calling back until I seek a resolution!

If anything goes wrong with your equipment - you will spend so much time getting a service call, with my first issue - took 3 weeks - a month to get a service call. Customer service, will eat up a week or two just getting a service call scheduled. To top it all off - I keep having the same issue (same belt is breaking).

This is the worst company I paid about…

This is the worst company I paid about $1900 for a Hitt14 elliptical including the warranty From the first day. I had issues with this machine bent handle bar. Loud squeaky noise my neighbors could hear…. now a broken axel….the first tech came to my home 3 to 4 times….. it takes months to get anyone out here and when they come they always have the wrong parts so another month or so for a return visit. I was told by the tech that the ellipticals was made in a way that it is hard to fix maybe a replacement is warranted. Next then you know the warranty company told me that the tech was not comfortable returning…. I was perplex because each time he was here it was nothing but respect given from me and he gave the same back to me….
After arguing with the warranty co…they sent out a tech who also stated the hours it will take to repair elliptical is not worth it but he will try….all the parts were ordered and I was given the date of 9/11/23 for a return service call and until this day I have not heard back from the tech…. I reached out to him several times….

I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROFORM TREADMILL.

The service is beyond terrible, and the equipment is nothing short of pathetic. We made the unfortunate decision to purchase the Carbon T10 Treadmill from Proform, and it has been a complete nightmare.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Proform Treadmills. Just 14 months after shelling out $1400, the treadmill's belt decided to call it quits. Of course, their so-called "limited" 12-month warranty conveniently expired just before the treadmill fell apart.

And let's not even get started on their customer service. You're in for a frustrating experience that starts with a 30-minute wait just to provide your details, only to be told that you're not covered. Then, they graciously transfer you to the Canadian department, where you're forced to endure another 30 minutes of your life wasted, and guess what? Nothing gets resolved.

It's the same sad story, whether you're in the US or Canada. Proform's equipment is subpar, and their customer service is a complete disaster. Save your money and your sanity, and look elsewhere for fitness equipment.

Rower would not sync with console at 11…

Rower would not sync with console at 11 months, 2nd console broke in 2 days, 2 site visits 2 sets of wires, could not fix. Ifit would do nothing, thankfuly I bought thru Costco and they did. Buyer beware...repair guy says plug/transformer is the culprit and cheap and blows out the board.

UPDATE:
Only after being forced to throw a fit and write a review did the company send the replacement.
I’m upgrading to 3 stars. They did fix the treadmill but should have done so without causing the frustration and having me question the purchase of the warranty. I love my treadmill and use it daily. Great product. Just wished they’d followed through on the customer service without causing so much friction.

WOW!!! Complete trash. Proform 9000 Treadmill. Walking board splits in half. I paid for the extra warranty. They sent me the replacement parts and in the box the new board is broken in half... Now all the sudden they cant help me and i have to go through a bunch of other channels now. REALLY????

Ifit now switched off

I’ve an otherwise perfectly serviceable Proform treadmill and just been informed my machine is no longer supported. Ifit will no longer work with my machine - no advance warning! They offered to sell me a new treadmill at a 20% discount. Scrap my treadmill and buy a new one due to ‘software issues’. I don’t think so…..

Do not Purchase Proform Products

I purchased a Proform Studio Bike June 2023. The item was delivered damaged and unable to be used. I spoke to customer service 4 times regarding parts and service. They refused to send a replacement. I am currently waiting til September 7,2023 for a second repair on a brand New purchase. I have never got to use. It will be 3 months from purchase date til I may have a working product. I am beyond frustrated and upset with this product/ company.

Purchased the Pro-Form Hybrid Trainer

Purchased the Pro-Form Hybrid Trainer. 2 Parts were either broken or the holes for screws did not line up. I received replacements. 1 replacement had missing parts, so needed to reorder it.
I wanted to send the whole thing back as I have spent a few hours now trying to resolve assembly issues. I keep getting passed around to different Departments.
I was told that I would have to pay $250 to send the machine back. I have not done that yet. Instead I paid to get someone to come out and assemble it (regretting that now).
I have been waiting 2 weeks for the assembly person to show up. When you call for an appointment you only get voice mail and no one returns your call.
Recommend you purchase thru Amazon and maybe try a different company.

Proform Rower 440R

I purchase a rower proform 220R 8 months ago and the bungee cord popped. I called and the part itself is over $200. I purchased this rower for $250. Ridiculous amount for this part. Seems like they just want you to purchase another one. No thank you. Disappointed in Texas.

Estoy súper enfadada y decepcionada con la Marca proform. Tenía mucha ilusión de comprar una elíptica para casa y cuando la recibo, una calidad terrible porque parecía de segundo uso.. me dijeron que seguro fue un error de fábrica. Días después me enviaron una nueva y el Mismo cuento!! Un asco de máquina, alegaron que eran detalles de fábrica. Si es nueva, es inaceptable los “detalles” que le entregan a uno. NO COMPREN con ellos, LO BARATO SALE CARO.

Horrible Customer Service!!

I purchased an elliptical - Carbon EL
Model Number PFEL55920.3 - less than two years ago, so of course my warranty has expired. The console stopped working, I opened it up and a battery looking part on the electrical panel had broken open, sticky yellow stuff all over the panel. I tried to call customer service and they said there wasn’t anything they could do besides offer me a whole 3% off a new console. Which would be $225. The multiple service representatives I spoke with clearly didn’t care or apologize that their product had stopped functioning. Regardless of a warranty or not, if I’m paying hundreds of dollars for equipment, it should last. Take some responsibility for your products please!!!

I purchased a new ProForm Pro 9000…

I purchased a new ProForm Pro 9000 directly from ProForm -I like the unit but the belt is slipping and the machine is making an awful noise. The customer service is terrible. They are asking me to diagnose the machine and informed me it will be $159 for a service call.....on a brand new machine. I have been emailing back and forth since the machine arrived. When asking for a return they informed me it will be $250 plus 10% - do not buy from this company.

Poor quality. Poor management. Poor service.

Edit: This edit is after ProForm's response. They give the reason that there are global manufacturing and shipping delays. However, I still give a 1-star review as the machine should have been of the quality to not need a new console after only 6 months of use. In addition, the backorder on the console and the fact that they ran out of this part indicates a major issue with the original consoles on the ellipticals. Hence a 1-star review still applies as there is obviously a quality issue.

Steer clear of ellipticals by ProForm. I received my ProForm elliptical (Model PFEL99521) on December 1, 2022. It worked great for 6 months and then the console short circuited and fried itself. After going round and round with the warranty department, a new console was ordered on May 1, 2023. After checking on the order status and getting a couple different stories, I am now told that the estimated ship date is not until July 28. So I had the product for 6 months before it broke and now have to wait 3 months to even get it fixed. The last excuse I told was that they got some consoles in but then they ran out. This implies there were major issues with the original consoles. Poor quality. Poor management. Poor service.

I bought a Proform Hiit h14 on…

I bought a Proform Hiit h14 on 4-9-2023. It was delivered on 5-9-2023.. broken. Possible reed switch, plus missing one arm bolt. I called customer service, not helpful. Said I could still use the machine without the reed switch. Last time I checked, you needed to use the arms for a full workout, kinda hard when your missing bolts so the arm is hanging due to missing bolt. Fought them to have a tech come to the house, finally agreed and a tech was scheduled for 5-29-23. Then proform called to tell me they couldn’t come repair on the 29th and they could come the 29th of June. Ow having spent nearly $1800, can’t use, and frustrated, I asked for a refund.
They refused to give me a full refund, because I didn’t give them time to fix it and an admin fee. This came to $435. What a joke!
Proform has made me this out to be MY problem for THEM sending ME a broken machine. It’s ME who has to wait for THEM to fix, all the while I paid a lot of $ for a working machine and didn’t get that. I paid in full too. I will NEVER buy another proform again especially from proform.com.

If I could I would give this company zero
This was probably one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I bought the treadmill in November 2022 and when it was delivered it made a terrible noise. It took this useless company 6 months and three visits to finally work out that the machine has been welded wrongly in the factory. They didn't have a replacement so the only thing they could offer was to refund, but only if I deconstruct the machine my self and make it as easy as possible for them to pick up.
No compensation, apology or even offer to take it down. 8 months, never worked, and possibly the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Trustpilot has replied to this review. This is purely a marketing response, I checked with the company's customer service and was told they knew nothing about this and nothing had changed. So ignore the response and avoid

Muy mal muy mal

Muy mal muy mal. 0 estrellas y no pongo negativos porque no puedo. Me compré una cinta de correr... Había elegido una marca pero luego el chico de la tienda me recomendó la marca PRO FORM.... Qué error... Cada vez que quiero encenderla la máquina está bloqueada y tengo que resetearla durante 1 hora. He solicitado varias veces su devolución por otra marca y siempre me remiten al fabricante el cual sigue sin enviar a un técnico a valorar la máquina. Nunca más compraré en esta tienda. No la recomiendo en absoluto.

ProForm does not honor thier warranty

I purchased a ProForm treadmill and also an extended warranty 2 years ago. I was satisfied with the product until six months ago when it started to make very loud noises. I contacted ProForm and iConfitness.com to inform them of the problem and that I needed service on the treadmill. We have traded emails for the past 5 months with no resolution. They now want me to take the treadmill apart and try to fix it myself. What was the warranty for if not to resolve these problems.
