I love buying from PoundaMetre. I’ve used them for stretch and non stretch material for making clothes and unusual materials for kids’ Halloween costumes. I’m always impressed by the service: the website is easy, the delivery is quick and customer service is friendly. Happy to recommend.

Price is amazing, value for money, the quality of all products I have ever bought is Top Quality. Love the range of fabrics. Speed of delivery is excellent. If there is a problem , they are very quick in resolving it. Only issue I have, is not because of Pound A Metre, but of the state my bundles are in, when they are delivered to me at home, I don't blame them, as I receive parcels from the delivery company from various companies and some of them are in a terrible state. We recently had to contact this delivery company and they were less than helpful, this is the reason why we have not contacted them when I receive my bundle.

Great deals most of the time good fabric. Wrong colours sent frequently told them many times just ignored. Not happy with that at all .next time i will probably shop elsewhere.

I ordered on the 4th of September and I have yet to receive my order. I chased for an update and was told it would be dispatched on 14th September but here we are 1st of October.

Worst customer service of all time. Shipping takes about 2 weeks for the uk. also they just send you random fabric that wasn’t what you ordered.

Nice quality cotton received as a trial.

Quality, Delivery Service

Just recieved my 1st order of a mystery bundle and 3 metres of batting the bundle had a good range of usable fabrics and patterns overall im pleased and will order from this company again

From start to finish not really that good I’m afraid I have to be honest
I had to constantly email them for my order
And I managed to find a phone number for them, which I spoke to a woman and she said the order would be sent out that day
Really unacceptable as it was already into it seventh day it doesn’t take seven days to pick and pack the material
I ordered two bundles
Honestly, they’re awful
Some of the material, I don’t know what to do with it
Some of it has got dirty edging
Not suitable at all and what colour is black grey beige God these must be offcuts that they can’t get rid of and sell them
At least give the your customer some bright colours
Not really much I can use apart from From probably back in on a quilt
Will not be purchasing again
For the reason it took forever to get here two weeks from Bradford to my address, which is Essex

Slow on delivery and well I was appalled at the condition of the fabric sent, it stunk of damp! Stained and two pieces actually had mould on! Most which was sent was like ripped up old bedding sheets an old top and useless thin strips of fabric which weren’t even any good for edging due to the way they had been cut so unevenly and narrow . Literally the scraps off the floor. I did a little first time test order as I buy fabrics weekly, had it of gone well I’d of used frequently but I can honestly say I will avoid ! I didn’t expect much for the money but blimey, stinky, stained fabric !! Come on…

The first piece of fabric had a stain on it , the second piece has holes in it . I won’t be buying again

I ordered more than one item on order number #PND-235271. All but one of the items arrived albeit on the website it said shipped with the other items. I contacted the company and received an email stating that it had been shipped separately, I have contacted the company again and received no response and still 15 days later no package.
Very disappointing customer service.

Wadding and interfacing good but honestly wouldn’t but material from here again it was so bad I put it in the bin

The wide range of fabrics, plenty of colours, varied lengths and fabric type to choose from. All of this makes this company fantastic for students, beginners and all level of sewing skill
