Products were fine but they took 2 weeks to send them, despite chasing, by which time we had needed to source them from elsewhere as the project was time sensitive.
Products good, service dreadful.

I didn't get to open my parcel till Friday just gone. I was unwell and sister rushed to hospital serious ill. I have t the energy or proof. I ordered 3x matching lining and message in order was to match tothe crepe .I didn't get any lining at all

I have never received my goods despite contacting the company on several occasions. I keep getting emails asking me to review my delivery and despite me saying it hasn't arrived, nothing happens. Will definitely not be using them again.

Customer service is useless they put the wrong address on the parcel then it got lost
When i finally got it I ordered a 5m length of fabric
I got two 2m lengths and a 1m length they dont respond to emails calls or messages i do advise to AVOID them at all cost

I have purchased many items from PoM for a very long time and although delivery can be quite slow, I have never been disappointed until my last order.
I ordered 2 separate fabrics and waited for them to be delivered. I chased the order and was told it was on its way. When the package arrived I only received 1 item so I emailed to ask when I'd receive the missing item. I was told it was out of stock so I asked for a refund which I received quickly. However I was never told prior to delivery that 1 item was not available and had I not queried it after delivery took place I would have been charged for both items. Having checked the website the fabric I was told was out of stock is still on the website available for sale. I feel I was lied to and am very disappointed.

I have brought from pound a meter many times and been completely happy with my purchase, until this time. My order took way over ten days to be dispatched with no communication and it wasn’t until I emailed complaining that all of a sudden it wasn’t dispatched.

Then my order came via two parcels which is fine but my email showed the wrong items in each making it hard to keep track of what I was waiting for, and then to open the second parcel and see my selected yellow jersey fabric was missing which was the main item I was waiting for to finish a costume was extremely disappointing.

Add to the fact the £5 I spent on a 100 buttons was like a bag or bric a brac and not suitable for use as there isn’t even 15-20 useable buttons in there most of it is broke bits and useless plastic hexagons that are not buttons, and ribbon flowers or random ribbon shapes again these are not useable as buttons.

I believe this will be the last time I order form here, customer services seems to have gone down hill, and I read reviews saying this and I thought surely not they’ve always been great, well I have learnt my lesson. Even more so as the jersey bundle showing a mixture of colours was sent to me mostly dark colours and all similar tones. Very disappointing.

Here’s hoping they actually send me my missing fabric.

You are my go to supplier of fabrics. Whatever my project, I can usually find what I need in a good choice of colours/patterns. And your frequent free postage offers are great.
My only niggle is that you don’t always clearly state the fabric composition in the description.

Absolutely terrible service and huge delays in dispatch. Also sent out one of my orders totally wrong. Kept the item as what’s the point in dealing with waiting another three weeks for my parcel to be dispatched.

Also the almost bi-daily emails pushing sales is a bit much.

I love buying from PoundaMetre. I’ve used them for stretch and non stretch material for making clothes and unusual materials for kids’ Halloween costumes. I’m always impressed by the service: the website is easy, the delivery is quick and customer service is friendly. Happy to recommend.
