I would rate this 0 stars if I could. The items were mostly genuine junk. Random parts you couldn't identify like rubber parts or metal hinges that went on stuff that wasn't included. Soiled sheets. Stuff that stores clearly couldn't sell and threw away.
Whoever owns this company went dumpster diving and then had the audacity to charge $70 a box for literal garbage. My family bought an entire pallet and ended up with nothing more than one or two items of low value that we kept. The rest went straight back to the garbage it came from.
To ship or not to ship’
I have not had the best experience with this company. Their advertising is amazing but they do not live up to it. The first time I ordered it had been over 2 months without a response. I requested a refund claiming they were fraudulent.
I tried again a few months later ordering 3 different packages(7/25) it is 12/25 & have had nothing but empty promises. One box I received that was ok. Waiting for the 3 box they offered a beauty box & a classic box. The beauty box had 2 used items, 2 broken items, 1 expired item & 3 items that were new or sellable. I was not impressed with the classic box that was sent.
This company has poor business practice & doesn’t deliver the value they claim.
Junk and bad service
There is a local company that buys pallets of these then sells them. I bought two and they were all junk. All Amazon returns that were opened, used, broken, or missing pieces. I left a comment on the local place’s website about the quality of the box and they said porch pirates would be reaching out to me. About two week later porch pirates called and asked for my address to send me two new boxes. I was excited at the prospect of potentially getting something better than the first two boxes. They sent me tracking numbers that day. Over a week later the boxes still hadn’t been dropped off at ups. I reached out to the company and they said they had been busy but would ship them soon. Then I reached out again a week later when they still hadn’t shipped and they said it was because of bad weather and they would ship the following Monday. It’s now been over a month and the boxes still haven’t shipped. And the company won’t respond to my emails. I would not recommend buying with this company. Their customer service is terrible.
Less than one star
Less than one star. Ordered two boxes 12/3 and nothing was ever sent. No customer service. No packages. I live in the same state, this is unacceptable. No holiday gifts. Xmas ruined. Contacted the BBB and porch pirates said I am lying 😅 so now I dedicate my formidable talents to warn the world.

Very disappointed in Porch Pirates
Very disappointed in Porch Pirates. I have ordered 3 boxes from them in 2 transactions and since August the only box I have received is the Skalawag Box. The first box I ordered was cancelled due to an apparent error on their part and would immediately been refunded. It even showed on the Shop App that it was refunded. Stupidly, I thought it was safe to send another order for 2 more boxes as I thought they had good intentions. Not so, I have only received the smallest box which was fun to receive. But have not received anything else. If the would just send me 2 of the large boxes - WHICH I HAVE PAID FOR - I would be perfectly happy, but they have not even had the courtesy to reply decently to my communications to them. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Date of experience is and guesstimate.

I ordered a mystery box in August 2025, I never received it!!! Now its 4months later and have emailed them several times about this issue and I got a lie of a response telling me they would overnight and ship out next day, well that was a big fat LIE! First and last time!
This was my first time ordering and it will be my last!. The box had 6 items and not even half way full. Item #1 - a small bag of Christmas bows, #2- a pair of shoes with a retail value of $30,#3- a pack of college ruled filler paper, #4- a small writing journal, #5- a cheap dollar store pencil sharpener, and #6- a 4 pack of 2x3 picture frames! This box was $89, but I believe I got it on sale for $76. I also wrote a review right on there site and it's funny that I don't see it.

Never received my order or refund
I ordered two Skallywag boxes on October 27th, 2025, for $63.92. Anticipated delivery date was November 6th, 2025. I did not receive the boxes or any emails saying that the delivery was delayed. After another week, I sent several emails to support with no response. I called, and each time I was told that the boxes would be sent out by the end of the week or early part of next week. Nothing was ever sent out. I left 3 voicemails asking for a refund. I have not received any return calls or emails acknowledging my request. I called support today, December 11th, 2025, and got a hold of Katie, the Manager of Customer Service. I asked for the status of my order, and she went on to give me several reasons why they haven't sent my order out yet. From bad employees to weather issues, to lack of product etc. I told her I wanted a refund, she said she couldn't do that and that she would have to contact the owner. I asked for a refund confirmation by the end of the day and she said she can't promise that and hung up on me.

I understand that the demand is great for these items but it hsd been almost a month since I ordered. Please, can somone look into this for me. This is my fourth attempt to communicate with you concerning my order. I have not received it and its been almost 3 months now. I see FedEx shipping numbera but have have yet ro receive anything. At this point i want a refund of my purchases. If this.is the way you do business than you are not good at it. To respond to my first email saying that you would deliver and still have not nor respong to other inquiries makes you a theif not a merchant. Makes me wonder if this is how I have been disregarded then i am sure that there are others so your testimonials are not true. I would like someone to respond to my email with a solution.

Obviously no one looks at the messages sent. Again, no one has responded ro my request for service. I ordered a box back in August and still have no received my order. I have emailed and also messaged with no resolution as to when my item would be. I need either my money back or the items I paid for. I do understand backlogs but be for real. It does notake long ro send me my purchase as I see other customers on your fb page who received their boxes after me.. 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
FRAUDULENT COMPANY
I ordered 3 MK H&W mystery boxes and they were supposed to be here November 14th & as of today, December 7th, they do not answer the phone and refuse to give me a tracking number and carrier. I've contacted them 6x and now I am filing FRAUD charges through my bank.
Total scam
Total scam. This company took my money, created a fake shipping label, and never sent my product. I gave them ample opportunity to give me a refund, and they kept sending me stock emails with fake attempts for pacification. And no refund. I warned them that I would start blasting their social media with negative reviews if they didn’t do the right thing, and they ignored me. So I am blasting the Internet with every place I can find their name, and letting people know the reality of this company. If I could give them negative stars, I would. This is coming from someone that dies almost all of their shopping online. I do not accept fake vendors.

Pirates porch, my box first
I was anticipating the arrival, and it was shipped with care. I did get a Michael Kors bag, but I’ll keep waiting. There was a giveaway to my friend who has kids. They would’ve gone and needed stuff, but I enjoyed it. There are some really cool things in here. I love the fun stuff that came in the box.

Not bad this go around. Thanks, it was fun while it lasted, but due to porch pirates not understanding that when you have a company, you are legally supposed to put every single detail somewhere for the customer to read. No point in blasting anyone on here about what happened. I hope they fix this situation in the future.

Currently waiting on my 3rd box delivery as I write this!. I absolutely love your company and the goodie boxes they make.. I love being able to “I have that” if my friends need or want something. Great selection of goodies! Due to my hair type and skin tone, some of the things didn’t work out for me, but the people I was able to give them to were so excited. The correct size knee brace (I’m not a small fry) was a surprise and has made my gym time a lot less painful.
