The world of pensions and annuities is all a bit scary when you get to a certain age, and need to commit. I contacted Pense and and arranged a call with James, who discussed my options pretty thoroughly, probably in more detail than I would have imagined. However, we agreed best options and I passed on details of my pension (just a small personal pension I had running that was based on a with profit retire at 55 type thing, still working so continuing to save into another). I was then passed onto Amber who did all the admin for me. She kept me regularly up to date via email and confirmed successful transfer of tax free sum and new medium ish risk pot. This will sit for another 5 years till I decide on early retirement if possible. I imagine I will use Pense again in 5 years time when I hit the big 60.

From the first phone call all my questions where answered in an easy to understand way and going through my finances and what I was hoping to achieve. Very happy with my experience and the service from Russell Flannery and the team at Pense.
