My dog is a very very fussy eater, I have tried every dog food there is, started cooking my own which she loved but it took so much time, tried the other cooked dog foods currently available but she wouldn’t eat them, I thought I would have to go back to cooking for her again and then I saw an advertisement for paws on plates and thought if it’s human food surely she would eat it….. well, she loves it, she licks the bowl clean, I warm it for 30 seconds in the microwave, as soon as she smells it she’s there waiting, she’s happy, I’m happy.!

Paws on plates - ordered our first order no issues arrived on time, well packaged still frozen. This being our first order we tried our dog on beef, lamb and salmon recipes.
We avoid chicken due to use suspecting an allergy/intollerance.
Beef and lamb are great no issues defrosting.
The salmon is awful, overly wet stinks the fridge out, taints other foods. The packaging leaks with this recipe due to how wet it is.

We noticed our dog reacted better to lamb so decided to place our next order with a full amount of lamb, no other recipes.
Order was due the friday before we left for a holiday, with us due to leave on wednesday.
Friday order was dispatched with dpd, however did not arrive. I emailed and got a reply back apologising and saying the order would be with me monday.
Monday came no order.
I email again and get told they will get the order to me wednesday morning before we have to leave, only then to be told on tuesday evening it wont arrive wednesday but will on thursday.
Ive then had to change our ferry to N.I to get my dog his food as he was coming with.
Food arrived on Thursday, opened the box and recieved a full order of beef not lamb.

I again emailed. I was refunded and told they would send out the correct order.
I have come home, told them i am home to receieve a delivery via email. I have had no response.
My dog has now been stuck with a food that hes shown signs of reaction on.

I really wanted to support this business due to their farmer support, recycable packaging etc however, my dog needs consistency and its clear the logistics arent ironed out.

I have since recieved an apology and have had the correct order delivered free of charge, Sam has also included a few packets of treats which were not ordered and its appreciated by myself and our dog.

We have decided to give paws on plates another shot, mainly due to Sams customer service and they have held up what they promised in the end.

Snoop is more of an eat out of necessity dog but she absolutely devoured her Lokis Lovely Lamb. She clearly loved it and was more excited than I’ve ever seen about meal times! She is about to try the Boots’ Beef Bowl and I am sure she will be the same. I also know that I am giving her goodness on a plate. Win win 🏆

Brilliant high quality dog food. Also a lovely company to deal with. Our dogs Nellie & Max love the food and they have more energy a good bellies. 100% recommended

Great customer service. Sam must be very busy but responds quickly and directly which is a lovely personal touch. Our dog goes mad for the food and gets very impatient while she’s waiting !

I started feeding Paws on Plates to my two elderly Portuguese Water Dogs a couple of months ago. They both love it, plus this food has made a very noticeable difference, especially in my ten year old, better stools, her coat shines, she has more energy, fetching toys and playing like a youngster. My 14 year old has tummy issues, she has Paws on Plates as a topper on her veterinary gastrointestinal dry food, this is working really well for her. Five stars for Paws on Plates, they have a great customer service too.

Recently changed our little Sprocker Spaniel, who has a sensitive tummy to Paws on Plates. She absolutely loves it, can hardly wait until we put her bowl down and licks every last drop. It looks and smells so good. Fantastic packaging and so easy to make changes to meal plan online.

We’ve tried many foods for our boy, this is by far the best, he absolutely loves it!

Food is abit gritty, which was refunded. The other boxes were fine, so probably just a one off. The food is tasty and helped our dog especially with his stomach. He is a picky eater with a sensitive stomach which makes getting his food more difficult.

Great nutritionally balanced food that my dogs love & prompt customer service should you need them. Highly recommended!!

Great customer service and excellent quality food. Our dog eats every tiny bit at every meal. We also love that they support British farmers and use British meat wherever possible. The food is human grade and smells wonderful! They care and it shows.

As a first timer with Paws on Plates, was impressed with the prompt response to an enquiry with recipe details winging its way to my mailbox at top speed! Good eco packing, good food and a happy dog.

Have not brought yet. Looks good and simular to food i get already with tuggs. Considering setting up plan but not sure if im being petty but my dog has 500g and they come in 800g tubs. For the money i dont want to be weighing out food daily. Hope they change.

My two cocker spaniels have been on this food for around 8 months now. Have tried most diets after my dog started with allergies and this gives the best quality of ingredients (allergic to offal found in butternut box and similar) and varety of flavours he can still have (cant have chicken/beef). Wish subscription page was easier to edit eg if dogs weight changes etc as have to do a new subcription for them. Recent prob with order (dpd prob) and rhey rectified quickly even though not their fault. My dog was literally crying with anticipation after a day and half of not having it ha.

We are on our 4th delivery of Paws on Plates and all three of my spaniels love it. I think we have tried all the other cooked food brands and this is definitely both mine and my dogs favourite. The consistency of the food is consistent and really moist, some of the others we have tried have been rather dry. Delivery and packaging has been great and the customer service is excellent, as is the quality of the food!

My pup loves this food, good menu and speedy, reliable delivery.

The company seem to be very dog and owner focused. I particularly like the fact that when I called with a query, Sam the founder answered and was a pleasure to deal with. The meals created for dogs are great! the only issue I have is the fish based meals seem to have more liquid in them and so the cardboard containers disintegrate somewhat when the food is defrosted. Hence a 4 star review. The lamb, the beef and the turkey meals…. Perfect!
