This site hasn't worked for months. Absolute inability to contact the service or get a reply from the company. I hope the N.I. Government is not paying this Company.

I have had no problem with patient -services as far as I can remember and I have used them for several years, the MAIN problem is with health centre which has been taken over and is a disaster

Very poor service

Very poor service. I've been unable to log in. When I click on 'forgotten username' / 'forgotten password', no re-set link is sent to my email address. When I complete their online contact form to report a problem I get a message saying my query is unable to be sent and to try again later - which I have now done half a dozen times.

Nothing on this NHS website works. Can't verify my email as it is not sending me an email and my email is right. The website has links for troubleshooting but when you click on the page is no longer available. Wish I could stop paying national insurance for NHS as I can't even get a prescription never mind see a doctor. Had to give a star as no stars is not available

Not fit for purpose.

This is a good service when it's working. Unfortunately it regularly crashes or doesn't allow you to even log in. If you do manage to get logged in then you can't access the service you require. On general an outdated cheap system that isn't fit for the use it is intended for.

And it doesn’t deserve one star. We have contacted Patient Services support about login on 18/04/24 and 25/04/24 also 02/05/24 all for up to 5 day support and we have never heard back from them, Our Doctors surgery tell us they have no contact number for them, is it run from Bletchley Park estate, Can or does Trust pilot contact them about their ATROCIOUS non Service

Beyond pathetic IT support

Beyond pathetic IT support, I reported an issue where my account used to submit prescription requests and book appointments became corrupted in February of this year and we are now in May and I still haven't had any communication from their IT department. Having worked for an IT support helpdesk this will almost certainly be a breach of that department's service level agreement

Shocking like a cheap app from 1995 running on a 20 year old PC under someones desk

As an IT person of four decades this is the worst thing I use on the web. It is up and down more than a 30 stone heavy smoker on a defibrilator.

Performance is shocking, even worse than low end web services. I really think this is running on an old PC somewhere either in a datacentre or under someones desk.

Support is zero (in 15 years i've logged 6 support calls none of them even answered).

It's going some to make this my worst app of the web.

This web app is thrown together and barley running and very typical of how the government has failed to invest for the nhs.

The time it costs patients and clinicians is huge when it's down or running so slowly it takes minutes to login .... or say "practice unavailable"

Hellish really .

Update : July 2023 After 4 months of being down and putting in requests for support, which were ignored, it's working again.

Patient -services

Another utterly useless experience....

Another utterly useless experience. Either 'Website not available'; 'You are already logged in' (but then I am unable to actually log out - spinning cursor syndrome) or Prescriptions tab just again results in spinning cursor. Cowboys that can't even run a decent website experience. Get a grip and start to deliver.

Awful website!

Must be the worst patients website ever. Nothing but problems with this website - loading the website, logging in, trying to order repeat prescriptions etc..... they're a bunch of incompetent morons. I'll be ordering my prescriptions in future by phoning or emailing the surgery. I have listed the date of my experience as 5/6/23 but I've had numerous bad experiences with this website before today.

It is totally unreliable

It is totally unreliable. The idea behind it is good but, in practice, it is offline more often than it is online.

Customer Service is nonexistent. I have sent them numerous messages but all that pops up is that they are experiencing an exceptionally large number of messages, etc. There is NEVER any reply.

I have reported it to my GP but they are as much interested as this company is.

On the few occasions when it works it is OK, that is why I have given it one star.

Don't advertising with this company

Don't advertising with this company. I did one advertisement with them last year and one year after I've just received a invoice of £1.872.00 to pay for the renew.
I caleed them to say that I dont want to renew it the attendent said it was too late to cancel it and that I need to pay for it.
My small bussines is not even in that address anymore and they didn't even check that.
I was on the phone with one attendent named DANIEL and he just turn the phone off on my face. I believe this says a lot about the company.

A thoroughly lousy service

I have used this service for many years to order repeat prescriptions from my surgery. It worked satisfactorily until about 6 months ago when it became dysfunctional. It displays a "temporarily unavailable" message when I attempt to use it - stretching the definition of "temporary" beyond breaking point. I e mailed the service about 1 month ago but received no response. I have e mailed them again today. This standard of service is completely unacceptable. I have given them one star because this is the lowest rating possible. Zero stars would be a more appropriate rating.

I have still not received a response. Does anyone know if this company is still in business?

Do not do ‘business’ with this company

Patient Services are an extremely unprofessional organisation set up with no other intention than to con small businesses out of money and not provide the services they sign you up for. I was visited by Phil Hamilton whose sales pitch contained false information and blatant lies whilst being bullied and pressured into signing a contract he did not show me the terms and conditions of. I now have written evidence from the venue my advert was supposed to be displayed in that at no point during my contract was my advert visible, and thus I have no choice but to now take legal action against them. The overhead company is Unique Advertising Ltd who have also been in disputes for the same dodgy business practices and it’s directors Simon Raymond Ingleby and Dawn Cheryl Wilkinson also run Guest Services Worldwide, another company with the same illegitimate business practices not supplying what they offer. Avoid avoid avoid this company and any others these people are affiliated with.

A total collapse of a company...

My local GP surgery contract out their online 'repeat prescription' service to these bunch of cowboys. They have always been pretty poor, with outages on a frequent basis, often lasting days, not hours. However, the latest debacle has thrown up an error message for the last 5 x weeks (!), saying the "prescription service is temporarily unavailable".

This isn't some stupid gaming web site, it has a full database to provide life saving drugs to NHS patients. I have no idea why my surgery hasn't abandoned this useless bunch of incompetent numpties, and sought another service, this one is simply broken.

I have no idea how much they charge surgeries for this service, but for an already pressurised NHS it's disgusting this shower of criminals at "patient-services.co.uk" are extracting another penny from tax payers...

PALs, Only to the doctors!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked PALs. They were very good to me back a few years ago, but recently I approached them about the treatment (verbal and advisory) I got from the PALs who work in Epsom Hospital. I had a problem with one of the eye doctors, (I have just written a complaint about him on here) And eventually I got to explain to PALs what had happened. They in turn told me they "would look into it" And true to their word, they did. However they accepted everything the doctor told them, had to have had because the reply I eventually got told me as much as, it was me in the wrong. I wasn't! I needed help with some surgery I had done at The Cottage hospital, and was told by a doctor in Epsom (After attending an appointment made by Epsom Hospital) that I was basically out of order going to him with a complaint, because the people working at the Cottage were all contractors!!! I told PALs the truth but they took the Doctors story and although I've wrote to them since, I've had nothing back. They are there with one thing on their agenda, help the patient who has been wronged! Apparently, this has now been changed to read, 'Irrespective of who is to blame and what went wrong, DO NOT BLAME THE DOCTOR!!!!! Blame only the patient for wasting the incompetent doctors time! In my book, this organisation are no longer to be known as PALs, but DDD! or Doctors Defence Department!!! The date on this is incorrect, for this has gone on so long, I can't remember when it happened, apart from early in '22 some time.

Dishonest and unhelpful

Very unimpressed with this company's service and attitude. Their salesman gave misleading and downright dishonest information during his sales pitch, their response time dealing with complaints and issues has been very poor, the initial artwork they provided for our ads was basically copied directly from our existing promotional material that we showed them. We wish we had checked their reviews on Trustpilot before we got involved with them. I would recommend that other small business avoid this company at all costs!
