I parked legally in a hotel car park. As the signage and markings for disabled spaces were poor, I had to drive out, round a one way system, and back in before finding a suitable space. I logged my d... Mehr ansehen

Most pathetic
Most pathetic , thugs and biggest scums on earth. This whole company , people who work for them and government who allow these companies to operate who does not have any professionalism, ethics and business sense. They have made a dodgy form on website to contact from which no one ever replies back. You only get an automated acknowledgement and nothing else.
No customer service number!!

Paid fine on same day as receiving charge.company sent receipt of payment
Received RED reminder 3weeks later 😡

Parked and Paid at The Shires Shopping Centre Car Park on Boxing Day, received PCN for parking, cannot speak to anyone on the telephone number listed, registered an appeal via website with no response & have now had a chaser letter. Awful
I received a car parking fine on 19/01/2026
I received a car parking fine on 19/01/26, for 5/01/26 at Princes Quay in Hull, when I definitely paid and have the proof. I’m thinking I must have entered the wrong details, but after reading some reviews I’m starting to think it’s an error on their end. I’ve appealed the fine and sent proof of payment. Hoping to get a response soon.
I paid for parking at Holiday Inn…
I paid for parking at Holiday Inn Bicester day after Boxing Day. A week later I get a Parking Charge. I appealed with evidence and they then accepted the wrong charge telling me that there was a technical error that my car registration was not sent through from the booking platform. My arse - it seems that this is a frequent if not scam error. Always appeal.
Parking Charge Aztec West Bristol
Fell into the trap of late for a meeting , was told first 90 mins free , meeting was for an hour . Meeting went on longer , phone signal diabolical . End result a FPN for £60 , which I forgot to action then became £100.
I appealed stating all the issues that day . My appeal was declined as expected , however the fine was reduced to £10 , A few ponds over the actual parking charge . A company that listens in my opinion and is fair . Well Done
*INVOICED* x3 in one day even though I paid to park.
ESPLANADE HOTEL PAIGNTON
We booked a room on the 27th December, after staying here, I received 3 parking fines from this private parking company the Hotel use, 3!! 3 fines for £100 each.
I paid for the parking via the the app with full proof which is what the hotel tell you to do.
It seems this is how these bottom feeding parasites work after reading the reviews. Make money by slapping fines even though parking has been paid! What a company.
Can't wait to crush another bunch of crooks in court 👊
Remove the barriers to lure customers into a false sense of security
Parked in a local car park that we often use. On this occasion, both entry and exit barriers were missing. On past occasions when this has happened, payment was not necessary. On this occasion, we received an invoice almost three weeks later for £100 for non-payment. We always pay for parking here and on this occasion didn’t as there were no barriers and so it seemed we weren’t required to pay. They have done this in my opinion to bring in more revenue from those of us who are finding it already difficult to afford life. Very underhand and second rate company in my opinion.
An absolute disgrace of a company
An absolute disgrace of a company. I have parked in the said car park for 10 years. I had a courtesy car but could not add it to our system. I emailed them over days and nothing. Finally I gained access to the system and now they are asking for 400 pound! I have written to complaints and head office and untold emails and they say that I still need to pay when it was there company who totally ignored me at the start. Robbers is all they are!
Criminals
-Paid for parking in Stratford-upon-Avon in November 2025. Several days later, received a parking charge from Parkmaven.
-Complained via email, but didn't get a response. Paid the fine to avoid it going up after the set date.
-Received a response 2 months later saying that I had admitted liability by paying the fine. Also, that the car park and machines aren't managed by Parkmaven, so they have no say over the fine.
-Seriously. So, don't bother complaining as these guys aren't accountable to anyone.
Inept Money Thieves
Paid in advance via carpark website near Coop Live Arena got receipt etc, a few weeks later these jokers popped up "you never paid" appealed with all the proof. Came back with no registration associated with what I gave but will reduce to £20 so thought fair enough.
The letter received contradicts dates and took them a week to send me the letter. Dated 11.12.25 but emailed 18.12.25. It stated "Total amount due: £20 until 31/12/2025 £100 until 14/01/2026"
So went to pay £20 on 31.12.25 and would only accept £100 payment, not what was in the letter. I took a date / timestamp screenshot of this and also sent as proof.
Highlighted this in contact details, 5 working days later still silence. Do they actually staff incoming communications or just can't be bothered?
Oxygen thieves nothing more. A disgracefully run business.
Parking Fine Incorrect TWICE : Paid on exit
Having read some of the reviews on this site these are pretty awful. I fall into the category of receiving a "fine" for parking, one a very late letter (issued on 23/12/25 received 5/1/2026 for a parking on 19/12/2025), as the next day the fine was £100 I paid. On investigation I had paid the fee on exit. Sent an email with proof of the 5th Jan. THEN another fine for parking on 30/12/2025, but this time I have appealed as again this was paid on exit. I am still awaiting outcome and any refunds. Not hopeful.
Scamers
Scamers - they just build the parking system to fined not charge for parking, is how they make money.
I would like to express how awful this…
I would like to express how awful this company are and how unhelpful they are. I appealed my parking fine, and they said 'as a gesture of good will, we will reduce your fine to £20 from £60'. Their online portal failed to allow me to pay the £20. I then emailed them countless times to explain that it would not let me pay, but they did not get back to me (and still haven't), meaning my fine then increased to £100 which was more than originally started with. I had to pay the £100 as I have still not received any help to pay the £20. It is now 2 months later and i still have not heard from them.
I paid for a ticket and still received…
I paid for a ticket and still received a fine. They are doing this as a tactic to gain money. Absolute fraudsters.
Still waiting for a response from this…
Still waiting for a response from this shit company. Challenge any parking ticket you received from them as it seems their business model is to send notices even when no parking infringement has occured.
Symonds Yat East
We parked at Symonds Yat East on the 20th December with a disabled Blue Badge and received a penalty notice. There were no signs anywhere that we could see saying Blue Badge holders have to pay as we were new to this carpark. My husband is now going ro appeal. Looking at these reviews I can see we won't have much chance. We will avoid all Parkmavern Carparks from now on.
72‑year‑old customer – stood firm and they dropped the court claim
I am a 72‑year‑old regular customer who received a £100 “parking charge” from Parkmaven after calling in for a drink at The Pinewood Hotel, Handforth, where I have visited the restaurant/bar many times over the years. On the day in question I parked in the hotel’s rear car park, used the bar/restaurant as normal and have bank statements to prove I was a paying patron.
Between visits, Parkmaven had introduced a new registration system, but there was no clear, prominent signage visible from the rear entrance I always used, and no member of staff told me I needed to enter my registration. Despite explaining this repeatedly and providing evidence that I was a paying customer, Parkmaven and their solicitors DCB Legal continued to pursue me for £260+ through the small claims court.
I prepared a full defence and witness statement for a telephone hearing. Only after I had done all this work and paid nearly £20 to post my court bundle did they suddenly file a Notice of Discontinuance and abandon the case, offering nothing towards my time or expenses. In my view this shows they were willing to pressure an older, law‑abiding customer right up to the door of the court, then walk away when challenged properly.
Reading other reviews, my experience is not unique: many people report being fined despite having paid, problems with confusing or inadequate signage, and a complaints/appeals process that feels designed to wear you down rather than resolve issues fairly. Vulnerable people, including the elderly and those under stress, seem particularly badly affected.
My advice is simple: keep every receipt, take photos of signage, and challenge them all the way if you know you have acted in good faith. In my case, standing firm meant the court claim was dropped.
Parkmaven Issued a CCJ but I paid my Parking. On 28th April 2025 I paid £1 (yes that…
On 28th April 2025 I paid £1 (yes that is just £1) to Park my car on Three Spires Car Park in Lichfield, Staffs. I was there for 24 mins and it is £1 for one hour. I used my card on my phone and received a note from my bank to say I had paid 'Myparkingspace' £1. I screen shot this payment and their screen, as on their computer display it said, if you are struggling to may a payment, use Google or Apple pay. But my £1 went through fine and I went to get a birthday card from town as planned. After 24 mins I returned and left. Then it started, I had letters from Parkmaven telling me that I didnt pay and to pay £100, I sent all the information to them, the screen shots on my phone and a letter from Nat West Bank with the transaction number of the £1 that I paid them. They said that they would not accept it. I emailed this and put in on their portal (useless) and they still wouldn't. This letter has been stamped and signed by the Manager of the Bank too. They sent my details, breaking GDPR guidelines to DCBL Bayliffs and they would not stop calling me to pay £170 fine (now increased). They called and sent letters and I explained that I have paid my £1 to park on the Parkmaven Car Park and that they have had evidence. They told me I was lying. Then in November I had Court Documents come through the post on 19th November, the Court Documents were dated 30th October and I have 14 days to contest receiving a CCJ on my credit file. So, they didnt send the documents to me on time as it was past 14 days. I emailed and copied in - Parkmaven, the Court and DCBL. I had no reply and the next day a CCJ was put on my credit report. I have to apply for a Mortgage this month. I had to pay £285 to DCBL to get this CCJ removed on 20th December 2025. I have contacted the Police as this is criminal activity and I am progressing with Claims for Loss of Earnings, Harrassment, Breach of GDPR and Breach of Administration of Justice Act 1970 (Section 40). This company Parkmaven based in Central London are nothing but thieves and they are earning money on the back of Criminal Activity. You only have to read the comments here on Trust Pilot to see how much money they are stealing from people every day. The Police were brilliant and confirmed that this company needs to be investigated for Theft and Fraud. You will notice that Parkmaven will never comment on Trustpilot as they know their behaviour is illegal. The people of Lichfield are also aware that this company are crooks, they have a facebook page set up to warn people to not use their car parks. your day will come Parkmaven and I will tell the world via Media including National Newspapers that you are thieves. Your day in Court will come, trust me.
