I parked legally in a hotel car park. As the signage and markings for disabled spaces were poor, I had to drive out, round a one way system, and back in before finding a suitable space. I logged my d... Mehr ansehen

Awful company
Awful company. Charged £100 for using Tesla charger in the car park.
A dreadful company
A dreadful company. I got a letter out of the blue demanding £170 pounds through a debt collection agency. I actually got the letter 3 days ago, but argue that I didn’t respond to them.
I will avoid staverley yard, now, because of it. The signage was unclear and I was there for a short while.
Underhand and exploitative
I park the car Hanley in stoke on Trent…
I park the car Hanley in stoke on Trent The parking event occurred on 01/06/2026, and I received the notice on 22/06/2026. The notice was delivered more than 21 days after the parking date. As a result, I did not receive the opportunity to pay the discounted amount within the stated 14-day discount period.
I tried plenty time explain what’s happened but they never reply. finally I paid £60 instead of £30.
Please don’t use this park because anything happened to you can’t speak with anyone
And can’t do anything.
I used the Exeter Holiday Inn Express
I used the Exeter Holiday Inn Express. The charge was £36.00 without code. £18.00 with. I used cide in the machine and paid contact less. My card acknowledged payment. No ticket supplied...ANPR had me at entry I paid all good. Then get £60.00 fine as machine did not take payment. I tried to challenge this. The AI won't let appeal go through. I asked for support through WhatsApp as their site suggested NO reply. Charge increased to £100 still no response....how is this fair?
The hotel boost parking but does not m3ntion 36.00pn cost or use of highway bandits to collect money...still awaiting a response from their company which will no doubt go court route because of their machine, their process, their delay in responding...
Am still reeling from an albeit reduced…
Am still reeling from an albeit reduced parking fine (after appeal) when my disabled Blue Badge had been displayed correctly at The Windmill in Charlton, Herts. Disabled and in our 80s, we needed drinks to take our meds with. Money grabbing from disabled pensioners is a disgrace.
ZERO STARS
ZERO STARS. BLOOD SUCKING LEECHES.
MY WIFE RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE HOSPITAL WHERE HER MOTHER WAS TERMINALLY ILL. THE CALL WAS TO COME TO THE HOSPITAL URGENTLY AS SHE WAS AT END OF LIFE. NO AVAILABLE PARKING SPACES SO SHE PARKED OUTSIDE OF A MARKED BAY, BUT CAUSING NO BLOCKAGE FOR ANY OTHER VEHICLES. SHE INFORMED HOSPITAL STAFF OF THE WAY SHE PARKED. THE WARD MANAGER INFORMED THE PARK MAVEN AGENT ON SITE NOT TO ISSUE A TICKET DUE TO THE URGENCY OF HER VISIT. TICKET WAS ISSUED ANYWAY.
WE APPEALED TO PARK MAVEN AND SENT A COPY OF AN EMAIL THAT THE WARD MANAGER SENT TO US CONSENTING TO HER PARKING OUTSIDE OF A MARKED BAY. THEY REFUSED OUR APPEAL. WE APPEALED TO POPLA WHO HAVE NOW DECLINED OUR APPEAL, REFUSING TO TAKE THE EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES INTO ACCOUNT.
BLOOD SUCKING VILE COMPANY THAT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR INHUMANE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
Another made up PCN for a duly paid…
Another made up pcn for a duly paid parking. These cowboys are either incompetent or more likely just trying their luck by intimidation. Since they won't care about reviews here, I'll just move to leaving bad reviews to the businesses who contract them to manage their car parks.
Are Parkmaven abusing public information for private gain?
I received a PCN for parking that I had paid for at Carillon Court Shopping Centre, Loughborough.
I appealed the issue of the PCN because Parkmavens ANPR system was not linked to its payment system at the time of the alleged offence.
It took over 3 months for Park Maven to determine my appeal. They rejected the appeal but offered to reduce the PCN fine from £100 to £20.
I appealed to POPLA (Parking ombusdsman) and Parkmaven offered no supporting information for the appeal and it was therefore found in my favour.
Parkmavens website, appeal portal and customer staff (when they choose to respond) are poor , lacking intuitiveness and designed to obstruct motorists from appealing and pressuring them to make payment.
If you should be unfortunate enough to receive a PCN from them, challenge it, make sure you follow it up through all the channels available on their website, chase them for answers and make a record of your contact with them.
If they refuse your appeal contest it to POPLA, approximately 50% of appeals are successful.
Parkmaven seem to be extorting motorists to pay money and in so doing using their permission to get public data on drivers & car ownership details from the DVLA for private and questionable gain.
POPLA should produce a list of the companies where they have held appeals and the success rates against each, to give greater transparency for motorists.
Incorrect fines issues frequently
Both may parents and i received parking fines during a visit to titanic quatre in Belfast. We visited on separate days during our holiday and using two different cars and both received parking fines. Luckily both of us had retained the parking ticket (by luck more than anything) and were have tired to appeal the fines (wish us luck). The number plate, and timings and dates are correct on the parking notice and on my ticket and therefore is isn't an error. The fact it happened to both of us on two consecutive days in different cars makes me believe this is a scam the parking lot is pulling and many people who could not provide proof if they pay with cash or don't keep the ticket will be caught out.

DON'T USE NOTTINGHAM TRAIN STATION CAR PARK
DON'T USE NOTTINGHAM TRAIN STATION CAR PARK. They make it impossible to pay for parking. I spent 16 minutes in the car park trying to pay for my session without success. Up to 30 minutes parking is free but they still sent me a £100 pcn. I couldn't appeal because they only allow appeals for one of the reasons listed in their menu. This is a compulsory field and after choosing an option you have to confirm that all statements are true, so unable to proceed any further. Shameful.

Won't get back in touch after we proved that we were not parked illegally at the county hotel Carlisle.
We have tried to contact them but they won't reply so our charity is taking them to the small claims court. Absolute terrible service.
Absolute crooks
Absolute crooks.
They knowingly send out PCNs when parking regulations have been followed, then deny appeals, and then guide you to a shoddy appeal partner. They have to declare on their official correspondence that they choose to not sign up to the nationally recognised ombudsman. That tells you everything.
Went to my dentist for a check up on…
Went to my dentist for a check up on the 16th march 2026, to get a letter from a company called dcbl collections agency on behalf of parkmaven, charging me a £170 for parking, ii have been going to the same dentist for over 5 yrs, they are now telling me to get legal advice as I have told them I'm not paying there made up fine, this is a joke and this company needs to be advised they cannot be doing this.
Crooks
Used a parking company to park my car who used a car park somewhere they shouldn't - have appealed against the parking charge but continue to get letters asking for the debt to be paid. Take me to court!
Robbers
Robbers! This company sends fines without sending real supporting proof, and the "third party" evaluator (POPLA) also provides nonsense details. Probably they split profits.
I don't want to use bad words but I would have used if I could.
AVOID PARKMAVEN - INCORRECT PCN GIVEN
If I could give a zero I would. Horrendous company. The first time I knew there was an issue was a Final Reminder letter for £100.00. I received no previous letters. I couldnt appeal through the normal channels as they take away that option by the time you receive a Final Reminder. No phone numbers, no email addresses. I used the online tool to send appeal. I then found two email addresses, that I then complained too as the PCN was issued incorrectly. In the end, I was given no option but to go to the BPA who took on my case. In the meantime, I received a Debt Recovery letter for £170.00. I called to advise it was still in appeal - they threatened me with court and a criminal record. I had no option but to pay half with half to follow on a month later :( I felt there was no other option. ParkMaven continued to ignore all emails. the BPA then emailed to advise my appeal was upheld and the initial parking charge was incorrect. IK called the Debt Recovery company - they advised nothing they could do to refund me even though the 2nd payment wouldnt go through. ParkMaven are the most horrific company. Please - if you receive anything from them, try the BPA. Do not pay them - do not feel like you have to pay them, they are cowboys. Never again will I use a car park of theirs. Avoid. I have now tried to contact them again to recover the money they have of mine - I doubt they will answer me. Horrid company
This company is horrendous
This company is horrendous! We got a fine for them saying we didn’t pay for parking in hull, we did and have bank statements to prove I payed the £3! I’ve tried to call and email them for over a year now with zero response! Since they have taken me to court and now either have to pay £386 or will have bailiffs and a ccj!! This is a absolute scam and I won’t be paying it and I’ll look forward to the bailiffs knocking, I feel like driving to there offices and speaking to someone
I received a PCN for parking for 2hrs…
I received a PCN for parking for 2hrs 10mins 22secs on 13/3/26., dated 18/3/26 but recd on 10/4/26 after the date the charge would increase to £100. I had returned to the car park having only parked for 1 & a half hours the first time & a shorter time the second time. Clearly the system paired my arrival time the first occasion with my departure time the second. I appealed by recorded delivery letter not realising I should do it on line, then having been in hospital a month had a final notice to pay a £100 with no reference to my letter, I paid to avoid the misery & now find I cannot appeal. You cannot contact this firm, & I had supposedly only exceeded the grace period allowed by 22 seconds.
DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!!
DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!!
Parked for 1 month near Heathrow, fully authorised and paid for. The carpark is 'managed' by Parkmaven and they have since sent me 4 different PCNs for different dates during that period. I have appealed them all and requested that they stop sending them, but they keep coming and there is no customer service function to call and complain.
Have vowed never to use one of their carparks again
