We had a very pleasant, friendly driver (Graham) who helped everyone who needed it.
Hotel was very good except the evening food, as a veg/ pescatarian the choice was very poor on the second night the only options were chicken and pork I had a bowl of soup for my evening meal 😒😢, also in late May we did not need a thick winter duvet and a thick mattress topper it was far too warm… we asked at Reception for an alternative and was very abruptly told there was none also the price of drinks was off the scale.

Clean comfortable coach , great friendly brilliant driver very informative.
Great hotel with good food and plenty of options.alcholic drinks were very expensive. Rooms were very clean and well lit with natural light.
Our 2 excursions to Henley on Thames and Windsor were brilliant with enough time to get the feel of the places.
Chelsea flower show was well organised by Palmers.
The flower show was a brilliant experience with great exhibitions, the one slight spoiler was at 1pm the grounds became overcrowded and unbearable onwards .
Not enough seating for rest stops were available.

I will not return to the Chelsea flower show because of the overcrowding.
Our drop off and pick up places in Chelsea were close to the entrance and perfect.

Everything 1st class pleasant & helpful driver, comfortable coach, everything on time & delightful visits to Henley & Windsor, good hotel & good company altogether a very good weekend, thank you 🌸

Just returned from "Exploring Kent - The Garden of England" and had a wonderful time. Gary the driver/host was very kind, helpful and informative. The VOCO Clifton Hotel in Folkestone was fabulous - spotlessly clean, bedroom and bathroom one of the nicest we've had and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. As is often the case, there is always someone who likes to complain so if you read a really bad review for this hotel/trip from a couple who were there from 19/05/25 to 23/05/25 please disregard it as their complaint is not justified.

We had a wonderful time at Windsor castle & boat trip with afternoon tea.
It was a perfect day, the hotel was excellent very good rooms & tasty food.
Craig our driver was a very good approachable & helpful & provided us with interesting information about the places we visited.
Two very happy travellers.

A comfortable coach with a great driver. An interesting and varied itinerary. The hotel was well chosen for location and standard of facilities. Everything promised in the brochure was delivered. Our first experience with Palmers but, hopefully, not our last. Thank you. 👍

This was an excellent trip. Good stop in Oxford on the way down to London. Plenty to do an see in Greenwich. Hotel clean and great breakfast. Room could have been bigger and more modern, but it was a Georgian hotel so this is understandable and we had everything we needed. Abba Voyage was one of the best shows we have ever seen.

Fabulous no nonsense driver who gave the essential do’s and don’ts and safety information.
Throughout the journey Gary advised of all drop off and pick up times in a timely manner.
Couldn’t have asked for better service.
Whole trip an amazing experience.

Coach modern, immaculate & comfortable. Driver friendly, communicative & organised (he explained everything). Pace was just right. Hotel clean and ideally placed. Breakfast great. Fellow passengers were lovely. Thought the tour was value for money. I think it would have been nice to know how long we spent in each place in advance (to plan what to do). But really enjoyed the three day tour - ABBA Voyage of course was the highlight and top marks for entertainment value!!!

We had never ventured to London so seeing Oxford and Greenwich was a bonus loved both cities. The hotel was great apart from the stairs. Our main destination was ABBA …fabulous.

The hotel fistral beach was the best we have stayed in In newquay, but the location for the ages of the clientele on the coach was a bit far to walk into the town if you wished to,though there were taxi's available,that is the only fault I could find with this holiday, every thing else was perfect

Our room was a great disappointment. The windows were frosted over with plastic,the lighting was poor,the bathroom was so narrow we had to leave the door open to get washed.There was one plastic chair to sit on, my husband is 92 I am 83, there was no comfort at all. We were charged the same amount as those who had a decent room,why.The rest of the hotel was good,the food was excellent,the Isle of Man is lovely.

First room was dowdy and window looked onto brick wall. Second room a little better but with toilet that whistled when flushed (so did next rooms too) Ceiling by bathroom falling down. Food was poor - no fresh meat just meat that had been pressed and then sliced (or it appeared to be) Nothing fresh. Vegetables were very sparse and no one was offered extras. We expected a dish of vegetables to share but nothing was given to any table.
Some of the corridors on 2nd floor were very narrow, needed decorating - holes in wall, wallpaper coming off and appeared to have polystyrene tiles on ceiling. The wall paper in bedroom was faded and scratched and could have done with a thorough overhaul.
The staff were all superb though. Door to door service is advertised. We did get a taxi which arrived on time, but we were taken to Wakefield to join the coach which took one hour then from Wakefield to Lytham St Annes -long journey! The journey took us 7 and a quarter hours. It was door to door but over 7 hours from a place that is1 and a half hours away? We stopped at Salford Quays for 2 and a half hours!! The whole coach was full of mature people who just wanted to get home. Because of the wait in Salford we were then caught in traffic. The driver was lovely but most people on the coach were unhappy.
Door to door is the reason we chose Palmer holidays and feel that saying they will contact the hotel is not enough. Our holiday was a disaster and not worth the amount of money we paid. As pensioners that took a lot of doing.

We were disappointed with our room 101 as it was cramped and in need of smartening up, especially the poor repairs to the ceiling where they had used 2 big boards to hide the problem rather than try to repair it.
there was very little room to move around the bed.
Not the standard of room we have had with Palmers before.
