Departure/First night:
Not able to contact the company or tour rep on the first Saturday morning regarding our late arrival at the meeting point.
Hotel in Bournemouth not suitable for the following reasons:
not possible to open the window
too hot
poor quality food - all pre-packaged and tinned
shabby decor
In addition Bournemouth was not a nice location for our first overnight.

Our tickets arrived only 4 days before departure. The schedule and tickets could have been emailed to us so there would have been less anxiety. There was a lack of info about the timings when we booked eg: 6.15 am departure from Guernsey and 4.15 am arrival home.

Lack of info about the tours - eg: it would have been useful to have a photocopy map of Herm, bus timetables on Guernsey and Jersey etc.

We would appreciate tea and coffee after the evening meal in Guernsey

We had problems with not being able to phone the rep when outside of the hotel.

Plus points:
Food on Jersey and Guernsey was excellent
Great service in the reception and dining room on Guernsey and Jersey.
Rep did her absolute best when our ferry was cancelled.

Travel arrangements were good in principle but in the time spent travelling, we could have reached Australia. Schedule did not match original or revised information. Hotel in Bournemouth, not good, hotel in Guernsey remote but hotel in Jersey superb.
Tours in Guernsey and Jersey well guided by drivers but all trips in non air conditioned cramped coaches.

the accommodation was outdated and very small.

Good afternoon, I have just come back from The Crew Hill Spa hotel. I was really impressed with the organisation from start to finish, the holiday was great value which included all of the trips listed. The venue was stunning. Our guide Nathan could not have been more helpful, he guided us through every event, nothing was too much trouble for him. I do have a small criticism=my friend and I and several other guests felt that the day when we had the river cruise, would have been better had we not gone onto Welshpool. I think I speak for several others on the coach, after a great day = most of us were at this point quite weary, and would have appreciated returning to the hotel to enable us to have a little extra time relaxing and getting ready for the evening meal. Just one other point, the food in the restaurant, the main evening meal, not the breakfast(which was superb)was really "awful". There were four people on our table, lovely guests who we did not know before the trip, and they all agreed the food was not good. Sorry to mention this especially as the trip was so good, the evening meal was a let down. I would certainly consider going on one of your holidays again and would recommend friends and family to do so. Again thanks to Nathan - he was a star! From Rosemary Johnson.

Timings for pick up are not advertised at booking and only provided just before trip.
Whilst we accept routing needs to be worked out the timings provided are totally unsuitable for elderly travellers.
Had we been advised the approximate pick up time we would not have booked. When raised with call centre staff the were, at best indefferent and even stated timings can be two hours either side as well. Will not use again

Everything was great apart from your travel guide having a bit too much 'waffle', and too many ahhhs, umms, errs, and too much 'hesitation' in her commentary. Very off putting, and we would rather do without unnecessary, and unneeded verbalisation.

The whole holiday went well, hotel was great, food good, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and good to go again.

We both really enjoyed the Isle of wight. The staff from Grand Uk Holidays were helpful and polite. We are booking more coach tour with them.

They were very good at their service, response and accountability . I have used their service for the first time and was quite anxious , but i should mention this person Adam , who reassured me a lot . They guided me well were very quick in securing a visa appointment for my family for a swizz visa when many other companies said its hard . They took it in a easy and approchable way for me. I would strongly recommed Adam for this in future as well.

We had a fourth floor room overlooking bedrooms and roofs. The windows were filthy, the room was very hot, tried to open the windows but they only opened a little bit. We had one fan, I asked for another fan, but when I returned to the room after a trip out there was a water jug at the door.(don’t see the resemblance).
Bathroom window had dirty cobwebs, had to use toilet rolls to hold the window open, dirt around the floor cupboards. Around the bathroom mirror was brown where it’s wearing off. Toilet seat hinge was broken on arrival and no toilet brush available which is needed if your room is not serviced during your stay.
Shower worked well and easy to use.
Beds were 2’6” wide, we pushed them together after my wife fell out turning over. We asked for extra two pillows each.
Food ok, small portions, service good.
In communal hallway rubbish ie tea bags envelope, screwed up tissue, someone’s plaster was left the whole 5 days we were there.
Look up other bad reviews on this hotel, it will tell you all about it, you probably will not be sending anybody there.

Hotel not suitable for elderly,especially with mobility problems,far too many steps and stairs

We arrived on coach nobody came on the coach to greet us bit chaotic getting our room key. Found our room very disappointed very basic no servicing of rooms had to make our bed every day.Also food wasn’t up to your normal standard. We will not be returning to this hotel again. Not very clean everywhere seemed to need a little more care.Otherwise rest of trip was very good travel days out driver and tour manager excellent afraid hotel let itself down!

View from hotel window was a brick wall I have a better view at home.
Two different taxis and interchange with coach was not ideal.
Nearly £600 was not worth three days.
The £100 single supplement was uncalled for.Never again.

Literally just had one of the best weeks away ever! Been to Torbay. We had Marcus and Brian. They were excellent with explaining every detail and made sure we were all well looked after. Such a lovely atmosphere on the coach every day with so much laughter. Everybody was made to feel welcome. Will definitely be looking again

Service was exceptional. Entertainment up to West End standard. Food very good. Accommodation excellent. Activities many and varied.

Lovely hotel and food. The travelling was good and comfortable. The organisation of things to do and the tours were brilliant.

My Daughter and I made our own way to Potters Hopton on sea as it’s so near for us than having to spend the first and last day traveling by your coach to Northampton
Went on the trip to Norwich which was ok
Did not go on the second trip as weather was not good
But I must admit got a refund having to make our own way to the resort
